Two couples dined here on a Saturday evening ... the room was not even half filled. Menu choices, food preparation and service were decent with reasonably priced entrees. HOWEVER, the noise level was intolerable for one reason only. In his attempt to be personable, the owner/chef tends to talk at an ultra-high decibel level. At one point, his shouts across the room to a table of 'birthday' celebrants literally startled us out of our seats. It's possible he has a hearing deficit which is often associated with extra loud speech ... but his noise level interfered with our ability to carry on a pleasant conversation. Shhhh!

Great place that you may not want to share and keep all to yourself. We had delicious food from start to finish and exceptional service. They were beyond accommodating with a last minute reservation and made our anniversary truly memorable. Their lemon sorbet is a MUST!

The food is outstanding. The owners are the most accommodating you’ll find in the business. We’ve brought friends and family here, and everyone loves the food and the service. Roberto and Leo are the best. A wonderful dining experience, all around.

What a find for us! We have been looking for 6 years to find a great local Italian. Food was great! Had the Sole and as advertised great. Also had a veal parm. Also great. Bolognese on our side of pasta was fantastic. Poured a great drink. Everything perfect.

Friends so raved about this gem, that other friends and I dined there Friday night. Piccolino turned out to be everything they raved about and more. Wonderful, friendly atmosphere, terrific service, fabulous food - the filet of sole special was sublime; the burrata-prosciutto salad great.
A three-course summer special is offered Monday through Thursday. Although we dined there Friday, no one in my party cared that we missed the summer special . All dishes are priced well. No worry about waiting for a valet. Pull right up and park.

Tucked away on the side of a Fresh Market/CVS strip center, Piccolino is worth seeking out. We went on a quiet Wednesday night - only a few tables were occupied. The owner/chef and owner/hostess were quick to attend to us and offer suggestions. The menu is uncomplicated - a few pasta dishes, entrees and appetizers/salads.

We are a keto diet so pasta is out of the question. The chef described the preparation of the evenings special, Dover Sole, and it sounded amazing. He also allowed us to substitute seasoned green beans for the traditional starchy side.

What can I say? It was DELICIOUS! And the portions were substantial. The fish was moist and tender and was delicately sauced .

So happy to have found Piccolino!

Creative and basic dishes are wonderful. The red gravy is one of the best we've had at a local place. Owner and wait staff attention is great. And they take reservations! Highly recommend.

This is our absolute favorite restaurant in all of Florida. We look forward to going there whenever we visit my husband's mother in Boca. We know great Italian food because we grew up in New York. The food here is outstanding and truly prepared with love. The owner/chef Roberto and his wife Leonora are the kindest and most wonderful people. They welcome us with warm smiles and big hugs and always treat us as though we are members of the family. They tend to our every need, and have even opened the restaurant just for us when they were closed because of a private party! EVERYTHING on the menu is superb. Our personal faves are the shrimp parm and chicken marsala. If you are seeking incredible down-home Italian food and service that is second to none, look no further than Piccolino. You will be happy you did.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. Roberto and his wife do everything to make you comfortable as if this was their home. Roberto is the master chef and cooks to order. The food is consistently excellent and the menu, while limited, allows him to concentrate on choices that are always delicious. The atmosphere is much improved over this restaurant's former location and the larger crowds attest to this. I find many dishes to choose from and love the linguine with clam sauce, veal franchese, and penne ala vodka. My wife enjoys the fish dishes. This is our "goto" restaurant in Boca Raton and can always count on the same warm greeting and fine food.

If you like fish - you must try the sole francaise. Have eaten in in dozens of restaurants and Roberto's is the best by far. Not on the menu but usually available if you ask.
Large portions of really good food madw with love. Years ago we took friends, who then took their friends and on and on. What could be a greater testimonial to a restaurant?

Roberto makes the best spaghetti (or linguini if you prefer) with clam sauce I have had. The menu may not be extensive, but he carefully prepares every dish to perfection. He and Leonor make you feel like family whenever you go there, they are warm and friendly but not intrusive. If you are looking for tasty Italian food, you can not go wrong here.

Excellent meal and great personal service at a very reasonable price. The sole, one of their signature dishes, was the best sole I have had in years and was delicately and tastefully prepared. The homemade bread was excellent. Would highly recommend and will return next time I am in the area.

Chef owned, and his wife warmly greets you, while he comes around to check on everything. Large portions, so think about sharing. Prices are mainstream; not cheap, not high. Check out the lovely stained glass decor throughout.

We continue to visit this special little gem where Chef Roberto and his lovely wife Leo provide an outstanding eating experience. Top notch food. Very attentive service. Very fairly priced. Perfect place for locals to enjoy and for visitors that are looking for top quality without the price tag that typical comes with it. Enjoy!

I have to say that I was a little hesitant because the menu reflected items that were your typical Italian cuisine with nothing that looked especially creative. After dining here, I have to say that the simplicity was well achieved here. I am ashamed to say, the best meatballs I have ever had and I mean ashamed because I think they are better than mine. The food is simple but done perfectly.

Piccolino's is a hidden gem. If you love good Italian food this is your place. Roberto continues to wow everyone with his delicious food. We had the veal parm and spaghetti bolognese . Fantastic! Roberto suggested 2 excellent wines for our table and both were knockouts. The 2009 La Torre Brunello di Montalcino was the winner of the night. We will be back!!

I found this restaurant by looking up restaurants near me on the web. All reviews were good, very unusual. I have been disappointed with the majority of other Italian Restaurants that I have dined in since my sojourn in Florida for the winter.

What a great surprise! The host welcomed you personally and sent a free appetizer to the table. The waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable. I wanted a full bodied red wine and one that the waiter liked was recommended. I ordered it but to my surprise, instead of bring a glass of wine, he poured a sample for me to try before pouring my wine, just to make certain it met my expectations. It did! I ordered veal picata with an accompanying pasta side dish. My companion ordered a seafood pasta dish. The quality was outstanding. I have been to Italy and these dishes were as good ands fresh as the Tuscany area. I love my espresso and had a double espresso cappuccino which was surprizing, the first one that had that slight bitter taste, full flavour Italian. accompanied with two hard biscotti that were excellent. The tortufo ice cream tasted homemade and very Italian.

The bill was approximately $100.00 plus tip. Another restaurant with the same quality would raise the price to $200.00 for the same quality and ambiance. A hidden gem and a must go to. It will quickly become your favourite restaurant.

The food was absolutely superb. The cook came into the dinning room to make sure that the waitress informed you of the specials and afterwards to find out if you enjoyed the meal. I had soup that was served hot and very thick. It was more of a split pea type of soup but was called vegetable and it was quite tasty. I had the special of the day which was sole francaise and the portion was so large that I didn't finish it. I highly recommend this restaurant as a neighborhood gem.

Spectacular! Everything was outstanding. I had the Eggplant Rollotini that was to die for. My husband had Veal Parmesan and he said it was the best he had ever had. We both felt like we were in Italy. The wine list is great. The service is outstanding. Can't wait to go back.
