Piccolino has really great Italian food and a relaxing atmosphere. It's owned and run by a married couple...it's not a chain restaurant or corporately owned. We eat there whenever we're in the area.
The meatball appetizer is the best! The filet of sole cannot be beat! The atmosphere is inviting and friendly.
Have been here several times. Food is always excellent, wait staff very friendly and helpful. Will return.
Roberto and Leonora are the owners and are so very special. The food is fantastic and so lovingly prepared. They work so hard to make everything so special. They are so warm and friendly and I cannot rave enough about the food from the eggplant to gnocchi to sole to veal cannoli and limoncello. All of it is wonderful. A true 5 star restaurant. Thank you Roberto and Leanora for always making it a wonderful dining pleasure
As always terrific food and service at our neighborhood Italian restaurant.
Birthday , food was exceptional. Staff was friendly and very helpful and efficient. The value was great and sharing was great. They poured a nice glass of wine and bar service was terrific. Very accommodating and we will recommend to all our friends.
The service, while very friendly, was very slow. The veal was tough and chewy and seemed to be unseasoned even with the piziiola sauce. The veal francese was tough also. Everyone else’s food was just “ok”. The calamari was excellent. Maybe it was an off night, but there are so many other Italian restaurants in the same price range that are better.
Very authentic Italian food in a nice homey atmosphere. The service was excellent and everyone was friendly. I recommend trying Chef Roberto's meatballs (just like nonna made them) and the veal, prepared anyway you like it. Overall, everything was delicious. We will be going back.
The food is soooo good. Everything is prepared fresh, arrives hot and you are not rushed. Friendly atmosphere. Great service.
Piccolino is a wonderful neighborhood special -= great food, always pleasant service and satisfying dining experience.
Always phenomenal. Leo and Roberto are the best. Must have the sole franchaise or the Veal Parm. The mussels in a red sauce to start. Prices are also excellent. A true hidden gem in Boca.
Continues to be a wonderful dining experience. Last night we brought a couple with us that have never been here before. We knew beforehand their dining taste and they thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to return. They loved the food. The service, as always, was very attentive. Roberto and Leo work very hard to deliver an outstanding Italian meal.
Always warm and wonderful
The service is outstanding and friendly. The food is fantastic. What else do you need.
What a charming spot! The owners greeted us with open arms. The food and service were great! We will definitely return!
What a hidden gem! This is your local neighborhood Italian! Food and service are fantastic! Don’t tell too many people about it as it will get spoiled. The sole franchise is to die for. Husband and wife team is phenomenal. We are originally from NJ and this rivals any restaurant we would frequent!
We have enjoyed Piccolini on several occasions. The owner and his wife offer warm greetings. a must try is the filet of flounder francese. Always delicious. Tables are nicely spaced. All in all an enjoyable, delicious meal.
A great find in Boca—tucked away in a small shopping area. Food was really fabulous, well-prepared and real Italian food. Service caring and attentive. Smaller menu of classics, but they do everything well and seem to care. Delicioso!
The owner was wonderfully attentive and charming. The food and ambience were perfect. The ambience was like an elegant museum. Somebody said the menu was limited but it was limited to all my favorite dishes. Truly amazing!
The food was delicious. The service excellent. It was a relaxing and enjoyable evening.
First time visit and we will return!
Warm welcome and special occasion mentioned
by our server.
Food was delicious. Service top notch.
Chef-owner made his rounds greeting all and going through his nightly specials.
Don’t miss this gem.
It’s perpendicular to the Fresh Market & CVS on West Camino Real in Boca Raton.
Love this place the food is delicious! I have been two different occasions and the Sole Franchase was fabulous. Wonderful family.
One of our favorites....I always order the fish special...it just melts in my mouth.
My husband enjoys the veal dishes and the delicious pasta
Wonderful family run restaurant. Everything is made fresh and is excellent. Note: If you have food allergies Roberto will prepare your food made to order just let him know in advance the first time. Also he uses non latex gloves so if you have a latex allergy you can safely eat here. There are hardly any nice restaurants in South Florida that you can eat at if you have a latex allergy. This is one of the best.
Always outstanding food with very attentive and friendly service.
Birthday Dinner. They brought out a delicious piece of tiramisu with a birthday candle.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The chef/owner? (I am not sure) came out to interact with all the customers. He was a delight. I asked about a dish not on the menu- chicken saltimboca- he said that he would make whatever I wanted, just to give him a day or two notice! Unfortunately, we live in Jacksonville, but you can be sure the next time we visit Boca Raton we will be back pronto!
Great food, unusual ambiance and warm and friendly owners.
Great, friendly atmosphere! Great food but menu is limited. Owner/Manager is very hands on and shows great care towards customers. Definitely would put this place on top of my favorite Italian restaurants.
Wonderful food ambience and service
Excellent food, reasonable prices, Real Italian food. The owner, Roberto is a hands on manager,
brought up in Italy, and will make most any dish you like. We eat there 3 or 4 x each month.
Their sole , Pasta, and appetizers are excellent.
Very friendly atmosphere- hosts are very welcoming! Staff very nice. Could work on lighting- very bright - need to have variable controls so the lights could be dimmed. Way too bright.
What a happy place Piccolino is! We can’t wait to return. The sole franchese is an outstanding meal. Veal parmag with pasta as good as I’ve ever had anywhere.
The restaurant is hidden a bit hard to find if you haven’t been there before. Call it a hidden gem.
We loved Piccolino! My husband and I had a Date Night and was not disappointed. We were made to feel special and loved the food and the service.
Although the service was good, most of the entrees were not. Eggplant had too much ricotta cheese and was mushy. Veal Marsala did not have much flavor and the sauce for the penne vodka was too heavy. The sole francaise was tasty.
Warm, friendly service. Food was good - I had the veal parmigiana special and my husband has the shrimp parmigiana. The meal was reasonably priced. The wine list was decent. We would definitely dine there again to try a few different dishes.
run dont walk to this restaurant.loved it.owner and staff couldnt be nicer.but better than that the food is wonderful.in the past we have gone to mateos with a decent size group.and this restaurant piccolino is better.much better.
Continues to be a terrific local Italian restaurant where the owners go far out of their way to make you happy.
Nice friendly owners good food good service old school Italian large portions
another great meal, never unhappy here, the menu is small but they will gladly make something off the menu
Husband and wife team Roberto and Leo run this very special Italian restaurant making sure that everybody has great food and leaves happy. If you've been here you know. If you haven't it is a must try if you are looking for terrific Italian food served at very reasonable prices.
