Piccola Italia Ristorante
We offer authentic Italian cuisine from all regions if Italy with an old world Italian ambiance. Piccola has a full bar, offering wine , spirits and a wide selection of beer.
We consider all of our customers family, so come on down and be a part of the love that is Piccola.
Food was good as it always is. They had chocolate covered Spumoni for dessert, yum, yum, yum!!! Everyone is always so friendly and nice. We come here for special occasions a lot and just love it!
Food was great ! Staff was even better ! Our waitress Emily was outstanding !
My friends and I love Piccola. We have been many times and always have amazing food, but we went for a girls night Friday the 17th and we displeased with all of our food. I always order the Scallops with lobster risotto. The Scallops we're a bit chewy and the risotto was like cement. My friend ordered the special which, was chicken some type of broccoli pasta and gorgonzola cheese. I took a bite to obviously see why she was being so dramatic and found out. It tasted like sour, old milk. That plate was returned and she was served another meal of her choice. The other plate that was returned I believe was due to not really knowing what an anti Pasto salad is, but she did not like it. We will come again and hope that it was just an off night.
Excellent food, drink and service. We had the Chicken Toscano, Chicken Parmesan , Tiramisu and a few Espresso Martinis. Top notch food and service; Would recommend Piccola Italia to all and will certainly return to explore the menu even more.
The food is unbeatable and the flexibility to customize your order to exactly what you want is fantastic. The wait staff is superb.
I went in expecting this place to be better. Food was not on par with many Italian restaurants that are priced similar. Service was fine and accommodating. The salad we had before our dinner was better than the entree.
Great food and great service. Had a nice Mother’s Day dinner.
Was there for Mother’s Day/Graduation. We made a reservation and we were seated promptly. The service was outstanding, our waitress outstanding and the food was perfect.
One of the best places in Manchester. No kids menu, but our kids love everything they've had there.
The service was excellent. Our server was attentive, helpful and we were not rushed. We were able to enjoy our meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious!
Always love this place and the service. Table side Caesar is SO a good!!!
I'm Italian and I cook Italian food. Piccola Italia Ristorante is the real deal. Nothing was left over. We ate everything. We enjoyed the meal and the restaurant itself. The service was personal but not overwhelming. If I ever go back to NH in the Manchester area, I will eat here again.
This was my husband’s birthday choice and we loved everything about it. I recommend totally. You get more than your money’s worth. The servers were outstanding.
Best Chicken Parm with House made Spaghetti in the city!
Excellant all around and our server Eric was fantastic will be back soon
Once one of the better Italian restaurants in Manchester, my last two experiences have been subpar.
My Veal Cutlet Parmigiana was exceptionally oily and soggy. The Calamari had as an appetizer was mostly legs, and was rubbery. The batter was oily and soggy as well. It felt like it was made hours prior and left under the heat lamps.
I am not ready to give up on this spot though as I think it can still return to greatness.
Food was wonderful. Better than I've had in North End, to be honest. I got veal piccata. There could have been a little more veal, but I was very satisfied. Service also excellent.
Excellent pear martini. Had the eggplant and shrimp appetizer and it was really great! Service was very good with Linda as our server. Will be back!
Provided requested table Service was exceptional Food serviced at right temperature with good portions. Cooked according to instruction. Everyone loved thier meal
Just wonderful and friendly staff ( remembering that you get what you give) thoroughly delicious food... I can not wait to go again!
Our family went for Easter lunch. We had a marvelous time. Emilia our server was so attentive and very entertaining in a nice way. She did forget one thing and our table was always clean and refreshed. The food was delicious. We tried mussels and calamari and mushrooms for appetizers. The specials were prefection. One dish with scallops and lobster risotto was the best ever. Can't wait to go back.
Tried it, did it.
I thought it was slightly expensive $129.00+ for 4 people. The food was priced fairly, but the drinks I thought were expensive, especially when one of our group had Diet Coke. One drink was around $12.00 if I recall correctly.
Right in sat right down and was able to relax
Excellent choice for our group. Would go back again. The food was outstanding.
OVERALL EXCELLENT DINING EXPERIENCE WITH FOOD AND AMBIANCE ! ! !
Menu abundant and varied with many favorites. Food was excellent and wait staff attentive.
I went here to celebrate my birthday with a group of friends. The food and drinks were excellent and the staff was nice. Would recommend for a nice night out. Will be back.
We had made a reservation via Open Table and were pleased to see that it was posted at the restaurant, as some prior reviews indicated that had been an issue for them. We dined on a very busy Saturday night. Service was very good even though the restaurant was jammed. The Mrs. enjoyed a wonderful Italian Manhattan to start the evening off which was thoroughly enjoyed. Dinner entrees were veal piccata, which was tasty but the sauce was a bit watery. The other veal dish selected , veal paolini, was veal sauteed with jumbo shrimp, artichokes, roasted red peppers and served over fettucini with a gorgonzola cheese sauce, which was very tasty, but quite rich. We also shared a dessert, lemoncello cake served with a generous portion of whipped cream! Overall, all were delicious and we look forward to coming back to try other tempting menu choices!
Everything about this place was fabulous, Food was great, Service was a little slow, but then again it was a very busy Saturday. Can't complain. Enjoyed every minute of this place. Would highly recommend this place to anyone
Been a few times and consistently great! This last visit they were booked to capacity, with events going on on the city- but the service and quality of food didn’t suffer in the least! Highly recommend!
Everything was done very well from the Calamari to the Meatballs to the fabulous Cannoli’s. Great meal, very cool atmosphere.
Absolutely love Piccola and Lise. Will miss her when she has her baby. She’s one of a kind!!
We were visiting Manchester from Maine and were looking for good Italian food. We found Piccola on a local website and made a reservation. The service was friendly and good, the music excellent with traditional Italian classics, and the food excellent. I tried the Chicken Parmesan that come with linguini, and a side of meatballs. My wife had the eggplant parmesan which came with linguini. The potions were so large we could not finish them. The salsa were excellent with a house vinaigrette. The bread was warm and soft, right out of the oven. We will definitely be back and with the lack of good, authentic Italian establishments back home, we would make the hour and twenty minute trip to Piccola for dinner again! It is worth the trip!
Great experience. We have been eating at Piccola for 14 years and love the food and experience. Overall our experience this time was great, however it did take them about 10-15 minutes once we set down to order our drinks and deliver them. Otherwise we love Piccola
Best Italian in NH, imo. Outstanding in every way.
As always, our experience at Piccola Italia was absolutely fabulous! The food there is authentically Italian and delicious!
Food was good a bit pricey but good. Service was exceptional, she was born in Italy very nice waitress!!
Was excited to attend for my birthday dinner with my family-party of 4. Waited a long time for service although our waiter was upbeat and pleasant. After hearing the beer on tap my son made a selection. After a long wait, he was told it was unavailable. ..as was the second choice. Third time is a charm I guess.
Appetizers came out fairly promptly however our main entrees took forever! In addition, two of the 4 meals came to the table and it took 5 minutes for the second two to arrive. Why didn't they just wait for all 4?
Dessert was served on a warm plate with warm forks from the kitchen, so the whipped cream on the tiramisu turned to soup before arriving to the table.
Overall service was very slow. Seemed like our waiter had too many tables. He managed to check in but we had to ask for things twice before it arrived..utensils, oil for the bread...things like that. It's those details that make or break an experience. Was not the best night out. Have had better Italian food at my house and certainly better bread- no rolls with packages of butter. Expected more.
My wife and I have been coming to your restaurant since the 1st year you opened. We're never disappointed and look forward to returning again.
We came this past Saturday to celebrate my wife's birthday and we are still talking about it 3 days later.
We shared the shrimp appetizer that was out of this world, Both entries were exceptional and we brought home the dessert because the portion size of the meals are large.
Our server was great, attentive but not pushy and very helpful and engaging when making suggestions.
Great restaurant in the heart of the city. Great food, good prices, and outstanding service.
