Service was appalling. At one point all staff except the guy trying to encourage diners into the restaurant were on their phones.
We were the only diners by 8:00 pm and they asked if we wanted a dessert menu then forgot to drop one at the table. Food was ok but not good value.
Ottima lista dei vini, cibo discreto, servizio da rivedere anche se i camerieri erano simpatici.
The service was terrible - the food took forever - the dishes were like a free trial - we are not coming back
Unfortunately, we were expecting a delicious Italian food, but the vegetarian risotto taste so bad with no flavor on it and the fish of the day was just plain without any special taste. The side dish was quinoa and also was with no flavor at all!!!
We chose it because we liked the menu, but now we know it was a bad option.
And last the price to pay was very high for such a bad meal!!!
Food was a C plus. No fresh herbs on anything. I wouldn't dine at any other
of their locations. Very disappointing!
We ate outside and it was very nice. The waiter was friendly and helpful. Our meals were excellent.
Nestled beautifully on a pedistrian street, Piccola has genuine Italian dishes artistically presented. Quality menu worth several visits.
Great little restaurant on Espanola in SoBe....feels like you are in Europe. Outdoor tables available, giving it a street side cafe feel.
Felt like a real restaurant as opposed to a SOBE tourist trap.
Had a lovely lunch - particularly appetizers were delicious. Service was great, attentive and very accommodating. Be ready to pay NY prices though (plate of pasta >$20)
Disappointing food and service relative to the NYC restaurant. This location on a very touristy street does not help, either. Cheesy music being played loudly is a major turnoff, as is the staff member out front who is soliciting those that walk by. Just a far cry from my expectations, having dined in NYC multiple times
Piccola Cucina was very disappointing. We eat at the one in NYC quite often and they would be ashamed of their Miami branch. Service was nonexistent; we had to ask for everything and the food was marginal at best. Will not be returning.
I have been to Sicily on multiple occasions. This is AUTHENTIC Sicilian food.
We just happened to stumble across Espanola Way and was intrigued at it's charm.
We let our waiter, Nicholas, suggest a wine and ordered the calamari appetizer. The wine (A nice Sicilian red) was perfect, and the calamari ensalade was amazing. We ordered their specials - lasagna and seafood pasta. Both were a culinary delight. Best lasagna I have ever had! (Sorry mom). Their tiramisu and creme brûlée were quite yummy, too.
Both our hostess, Elena, and waiter were so personable and genuine.
I recommend this wonderful place to anyone seeking a true slice of Italy. And allow them to make suggestions for you. You will not be disappointed. I just wish they would open a place in LA!!
For thé new years, a new Menu, poor and expensive. All thé people are seek after. Ce Menu fut pauvre, sous prétexte d économie et de rapidité la Carte était limitée, le repas sans gout et très léger. Nous avons tous été malade le lendemain.
We had a great dinner outside. The service was very good and the food was delicious! We had a very good time in a terrace, romantic and nice ambiance.
With so many options for dinner in Miami Beach, this was a nice find. There are lots of Italian restaurants in the area, but this one served more authentic cuisine. The food was good, but not great. It was nice to sit at the outdoor table on a cool evening and watching the people walk by on Espaniola Way.
