Great waitstaff

Food is always excellent as is the service. We enjoy their menu from top to bottom, and always enjoy the cinnamon biscotti with cannoli cream dessert.

We always choose Piccola Bussola for special occasion because their outstanding customer service, amazing yummy food and classical decorations.

Another outstanding evening at Piccola Bussola. In-laws in from Vegas and wanted Italian. Wife and I took them to our go to Italian Restaurant, Piccola Bussola. Dinner choices were Chicken Francese, Chicken Marsala, Shrimp Scampi, and Swordfish Oregenata. Everyone had high praises from the starting chopped salads through the entrees right on to the tartufo deserts. Special props to the wait staff for their professional and always courteous service.

Well run staff know how to attend and serve at friendly pace. Visited during Huntington restaurant week which may explain why dozens of small tables were jammed tight chair back to chair back. Good old world Italian cuisine with quality ingredients. What more do you need.

Packed. Glad I made a reservation. Still had to wait. Food was good. Portions were overwhelming. It was a bit heavy. Calamari was heavy deep fried. Share portions unless you want to take it home. Very reasonable for the price.

The place was hopping on this Friday evening. Our server, Galileo, was great as always! Classic foods, prepared reliably well. And wines were wonderful compliments to our meal. Very nice time.

Our latest visit this week has reinforced our belief that Piccola Bussola is our go to Italian Restaurant. The food and service remain at a the high standard we have come to enjoy. My Chicken Francaise with potato croquet was top notch. My wife opted for chicken piccata and was equally pleased. Our compliments to the chef, and a special shout out to Galileo our waiter; attentive but not intrusive.

First time at this restaurant Awesome

I have been here quite a few times. Always busy. Very loud. Usually portions were larger. Waited a long time to get our dinner. Vèry disappointing and embarrassing as we brought friends to dine with us.

Very disappointed. Got engaged at the Glen Cove location which was great, so took her to Huntington location for an anniversary. Loud, crowded, and hot inside--hey have too many tables on the floor. Buratta was cold. Striped Bass (special) was awful...dry, too fishy, and absolutely no taste at all. Tried to find waiter to send it back but he disappeared. Had about 1/4 of it and have felt ill since I got home. Wife's dinner was ok, but nothing special and just warm. Kitchen was behind. There are too many other good restaurants on LI, this one doesn't even come close.

Dinner was wonderful and our waiter was fabulous! We have frequented this restaurant for many, many years and the quality of the food never disappoints!

The waiter was good, but it took a long time to get the food. We got there at 7:00, ordered by 7:30 and didn’t eat until 9:00. The table was also too close to the wall with no room. We had one guest leave because they were very uncomfortable. Even if we had four people, I am unsure how people can sit against the wall comfortably. I think the large party table should be moved elsewhere.

I had fried calamari and veal Milanese. My wife had a chopped salad and linguini with white clam sauce. Everything was excellent, the portions are huge, and the prices are very fair. John, the owner was off the night we were there but his staff was on top of everything. We usually finish our meals but the portions were so big that we ended up taking home part of our meals.

This is our favorite restaurant by far. The food is consistently excellent/outstanding. Service is attentive and always accommodating. The staff will do anything to make sure you are happy . We love it.

Food and service were very good and they have a decent choice of reasonably priced wines.
Only thing that was off was on how diners were seated. Despite the restaurant being no more than 25% full during our mid-week visit, they bunched all of the diners together rather than spreading them out.

Service was slooooow,waiter forgot some of the correct order. Restaurant should stop take out orders and concentrate on the seated guests.

While the restaurant was very business, and for good reason, my group never felt rushed or ignored. The food was excellent and the owner, John, made a point of greeting not only my group but apparently all the other patrons as well. Truly a very satisfying experience.

our reservation was for 7 people at 7:15, we were not seated until 8:00 p.m. Since is was restaurant week, I'll give it a pass. The management was kind enough to take off our bar bill while we waited. Once inside the food was so delicious. Service could have been a little bit better managed. They ran out of one of the deserts we asked for too. I would give this restaurant another chance only for the fact that the food really was so delicious. It was also priced nicely, not over priced.
