THE BEST GLUTEN FREE FOOD I HAVE WVER HAD OUT TO EAT!!!!! I am a celiac person, so finding quality food on the road is difficult! This place is hands down the best ever!!!!
Great gluten free menu. Very good service.
Our dinner was
Very good! We started with the captées salad, but we had ordered an appetizer (which was delicious when it was served) of prosciutto, mozzarella, and olive oil served on crostini. My husband had the chicken penne with spinach, sundried tomatoes, onion which was delicious and I had the veal picatta over lemon butter
Sorrentos is literally the best Italian around. Can’t beat it!!! I would go every week if I could.
If you think Olive Garden is good, give this place a try. It was so much better! Service was fantastic, food was great, and their pasta was clearly high quality! We will be going back to Piazza Sorrento again soon to give their other dishes a try!
Very good waitress service nice ab audience and fresh food
Always a fantastic experience! We have been here many times, with small children, on a date night and with friends. The service is outstanding and we always have leftovers!
Always the best
No air conditioning. Not a comfortable experience
Amazing food and service. Didn’t know what to expect and it was outstanding. We had the grilled gnocchi, grilled chicken and penne, veal piccata , shrimp scampi, and broccoli rabe and sausage pasta.
Excellent food and the waitress we had both nights was awesome!
Highly recommend Sorrento’s dining. Our food was exceptional. They have a large GF menu. I had Penne Vodka that was fantastic. Others in our party had vegetable primavera and bbq flat bread. Our waitress was very tentative and personable. She checked with us frequently despite being very busy. The owners & the staff care passionately about your dining experience and will go out of their way to provide quality service and food for your dining experience! Go to Sorrentos if you’re in the Hershey Pa area!
Food was excellent as was the waitress that served us. Kayla was so nice and really on top of her game, she was super attentive even though she was very busy
Welcomed right away, seated promptly. The server had most of the restaurant and did a great! Kept on top of things and didn’t seem rushed. The food was well prepared as usual and the courses were served at a good pace. Great experience overall.
Emily, our server, was so understanding and went above and beyond! My brother, felt ill right after we ordered our food. We needed to go home. Emily went to the kitchen and expedited our order and then packed it to go. She was so understanding and compassionate!
Very pleasantly surprised by this gem. Went before a concert in Hershey and was happily greeted. Menu had a lot of choices. Pasta is made on the premises- so fresh. Everyone’s meals were delicious. The rolls were warm and excellent! Loved the lobster ravioli. Daughter said the lasagna was also very good. Son loved the penne vodka. Shared the chocolate peanut cake and cannoli. They disappeared quickly. Overall a great meal. Highly recommended.
Loved the food!! The dining room was very warm! Staff and diners both seem uncomfortable with the temp. It seemed like the AC wasn't working. Service was OK, but taking into consideration how warm room, I would have expected the staff to be more attentive to empty water glasses...We would go back and give it another try though, because we really enjoyed the food!
Waitress explained the food well, agreed to make my order with different pasta, order came out with incorrect pasta, skipped veggies noted on menu, got charged for 2 minor extras which should have been free.
Very allergy conscious. If you have a gluten allergy I highly recommend. Great food selection especially pasta. Great service and would definitely return.
Kayla was an excellent waitress. Fun, attentive but not overbearing. She was quick and did not miss anything. One of the best waitresses we have had anywhere .
Great dinning experience. Service and food were outstanding!
Good good! Wait staff was excellent!
Margarita not good. My fault for ordering a Mexican drink here. Lasagna ok. Fettuccine Alfredo lacked flavor (missing garlic, salt). They Dropped the flatbread, misdelivereed the replacement..20 min later it was delivered when all others in party were done. Waitress was excellent though
Food was amazing! Highly recommend the brushcetta and penne vodka :) Our waitress was very nice after our long day and the food was very affordable
Our favorite Italian spot in the Harrisburg/Hershey area. The veal is second to none, the sauce and quality of the ingredients is amazing and the service is always top notch.
Alexis was fabulous as was my apple martini!!!!!!!!
Phenomenal pizza. I would definitely visit again to try more options.
Lifetime resident of Hershey, first time at the restaurant...other than many years ago when the pizza shop was on Cocoa Ave. Piazza Sorrento did not disappoint! Wonderful service WITH A SMILE :) and fantastic food. We will be back!
One of our favorites, Piazza Sorrento never disappoints. The GF lasagna is terrific. Everything was great. <3
Since I had never visited Hershey, PA before, I thought that it would be nice to dine at a local, highly-rated Italian spot. First, the hostess was brash and refused to seat us elsewhere when I asked about a booth; she claimed that someone else had requested a booth with their reservation, so she couldn’t accommodate us (there seemed to be PLENTY of booths the whole time that we were there). I have back issues, so the hard wooden seats were uncomfortable. Plus, the back area was FREEZING 🥶, and I’m usually warm all the time!! The waitress was nice and tried to turn the temp up, but it only heated up for around 5 minutes. Then, the air came back on and stayed on! The Caesar salad was meh, but the Italian sampler was delicious. 😋 Unfortunately, I was too cold to enjoy my meal, so I finished quickly. Bypassed dessert, which I usually never pass up, due to the experience. Maybe would have been nicer, if we hadn’t been put in the ugly, refrigerated area.
Perfect for those who are Celiac (cannot eat wheat). Never before have I eaten at an Italian restaurant that had so many GF selections. Incredible! I had no cross contamination side effects. My wife ate from the st card menu. Both of us throughly enjoyed.
Great place. I highly recommend. From start to the end, we were greeted with kindness and respect. I’m gluten sensitive and they have a special menu, brought GF bread, and were very courteous and cautious about it. We had pizza, crab dip, and the blueberry arugula salad. All extremely delicious!
Excellent service, atmosphere, food, prices, menu. So grateful for the extensive gluten free menu!
The food was delicious but the service was the star. Would highly recommend to anyone dining in the Hershey area.
Good Food and Gluten Free options for me. Good Dinner with small kids who ate it all and went back for more
This restaurant is AMAZING! We found it online, and read some good reviews so we decided to try it. We were so glad we did! Don’t be put off it’s near a gas station, the minute you walk in you will forget it’s location. The food is so fresh and delicious, we went both days we were in Hershey. Our server Kayla was wonderful and genuinely happy to see us the next night. If your looking for freshly prepared, delicious food, then don’t miss this restaurant! Our only complaint is that it is too far from Connecticut!
The food was delicious. One of my daughters is gluten free and having such an extensive selection of GF options, from appetizer to dessert was wonderful. But we all enjoyed every bite. The hostess and our server were gracious and informative.
The food was amazing but I don’t believe the air conditioning works. It was HOT inside.
Food was very good but service could have been better. Our waitress brought the wrong gluten free dish to my wife after explaining specifically what she wanted. Worst yet, she didn’t immediately take responsibility for the mistake. Also brought me the wrong wine but I chose to not send that back too. She left to get pepper for my salad and never came back. Overall, she was pleasant but very forgetful and obviously not a good listener.
Fresh pasta was the highlight. Overall a good meal and experience but not as authentic as many Italian restaurants we have visited. Portions were small but price was appropriate. It’s not authentic Italian unless everyone leaves with lots of left overs.
As always, the food was superb (hats off to the chef). We were introduced to this place in 2014, and have visited this restaurant regularly because of the outstanding food and service. Thanks for another fantastic experience.
