Piazza Bella

I randomly picked this restaurant to try out. The wine list has a great selection, the charcuterie board was appropriately sized, and the entrees were amazing. The service was on point, and the ambiance was perfect. I will definitely be coming here again.

Business lunch - outstanding!!

Great food and atmosphere. Service was a little slow but it was pretty packed for a Sunday so they were probably understaffed. Will definitely come back.

Food and drinks were great. Our waiter was very tentative. The atmosphere is good for a date and or family dinner.
Dessert was phenomenal. We had the tiramisu and Lava cake ala mode. I highly recommend it. My sons had the chicken parmesan dinner and Lasagna...let me tell you these teenagers could eat and they couldn't even finish their dinner. They had a doggy bag. My husband and I had Moscow Mule let me tell you we sure enjoyed them. The prices are great. Highly recommended!!!! Give it a try.

Great authentic Italian food in a delightful atmosphere and space. Soup was amazing.

My wife and I chose Piazza Bella to celebrate our 15th anniversary since we've thoroughly enjoyed our previous visits. We decided to dine outside but found it to be noisier than usual. The service was very attentive and the entrees were excellent. Overall, a very worthwhile dining experience.

Everything about our experience was terrific...the service, food, ambiance and the value. We will return again!

We are new to the neighborhood and spotted Piazza Bella while exploring the neighborhood. The food looked delicious and it’s a short walk from home so we gave it a try on a Friday evening in hopes of finding a new neighborhood staple. Much like the other reviews indicate, the food is great but the service is severely lacking which really takes away from the experience. We were seated promptly without a reservation and that’s where the good service ended. It took 11 minutes from the time we were seated for someone to bring us water. It took 18 minutes from the time we were seated to be greeted by a server (after asking the hostess twice if we had one). The waiter had extremely minimal knowledge of the wine list and when asked for food recommendations stated, “I don’t know, everything is pretty good.”

The food was great and we enjoyed our meal. Serving sizes of both pasta dishes we ordered were hearty. Both wine pours were slight (so slight we opted not to order second glasses for the price). Would we return? Maybe, if we didn’t have a reservation elsewhere and were in a pinch - but with the endless dining options in the city, we’re not in a hurry to return.

Always stop at this great Roscoe Village neighborhood Italian restaurant after a Cub game. Great homemade pastas & inventive special dishes. Generous pours & food portions. Friendly, good service

Great food per usual, however, the service was terrible that night for some reason (and it's not because the place was jammed). Out server forgot to put in the order for our appetizer and didn't check on us regularly.

We’ve been there twice lately and the food is very good and the pasta really authentic. Unfortunately the service is very poor. Slow, not attentive and no wine knowledge. Used plates stay forever at the table if they get removed at all before you leave.
If they could improve their service it would be a great place.

We were visiting the area for the first time and wanted a great neighborhood Italian spot. Piazza Bella was wonderful. Great food, and we ate outside and enjoyed a nice evening. We highly recommend Piazza Bella.

Third visit in six weeks. Always stop for dinner after a Cub game. Three more dinners planned till the end of baseball season. Warm atmosphere, friendly service & terrific food. A neighborhood find if there ever was one. They pour a generous drink too!

Everyone in our party had pasta dishes. Pasta was delicious as was the two varieties we had, Bolognese and fresh tomatoes with garlic and basil. Waiter was efficient and attentive. When I’m visiting my son again we would definitely return.

Piazza Bella has a warm, cozy, romantic atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it for a date night or special occasion. Our server was very nice and knowledgable but overall the service was a tad slow. Go there to relax and enjoy, it will probably be a 2-hour dining experience for 2 people. The chicken parmesan was good, I would order it again. My husband ordered the Farfalle which we both agreed fell short - the sauce had no flavor whatsoever and the chunks of chicken were tough and flavorless. We split the chocolate lava cake and cannoli for dessert, both were enjoyable. The cannoli was not what I was expecting, the filling tasted like traditional vanilla frosting which is quite different from the cannolis I've had elsewhere - still tasty though. Overall, check this place out for the atmosphere and some fresh made-in-house pasta. We will be back to try some new menu items and see what else they have to offer.

Second visit in a month. Favorite neighborhood restaurant to go to after a Cub game. Close enough to Wrigley but out of the general mayhem of getting out of Wrigleyville. Great pastas. Generous pours. Great atmosphere. We’re headed back June 21

Fantastic food

Neighborhood find. Always dine here after a Cubs game. Great atmosphere. Friendly wait staff. Fried or grilled calamari is a must. Pasta dishes are terrific with generous portions. Good pours from the bar. Cannoli is one of the best I’ve had! Reasonable prices.

Always canceling my reservation after I’m there, really annoying to have to contact Open Table about it so I can obtain points.

My wife and I were joined by another couple and it was the first experience at the restaurant for all of us. We loved it! The menu contains many high quality options and the prices are very reasonable. Our server was very knowledgeable, outgoing and efficient. We will definitely be back!

We went in with a large party for a First Communion lunch and once again Piazza Bella delivered! They did an amazing job with service and food. Thank you for your hospitality and wonderful ambiance.

Perfect establishment for conversation and ambiance during a “romantic date night.” Excellent food, professional service, reasonable prices, in a clean, inviting, and comfortable space. 10/10 would recommend.

By far one of the best Italian restaurants in town. Wish it was closer to where I lived because I'd go more often. The service is 5-star; David, one of the servers, along with the rest of the staff are attentive and extremely welcoming.

Dinner with my toddler at 5:30 and it was definitely a hot spot for families with little ones! Perfect! Attentive and kind waiters and the egg drop spinach soup was awesome! The pizza was perfect for my son and I to share. Would go again for sure!
