Food was great and reasonably priced. The restaurant, and the entire hotel for that matter, is a bit dated. Decor is old and the hotel exterior looks like it is not being cared for well. The rooftop bar is similarly underwhelming. I would eat there again but there are also nice restaurants in town that are nicer.
Juan was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! I l do and will always love spending time at the Partridge Inn!
P.I. Bar and Grill is a beautiful venue. Since it's an historic old house, would have loved some history to read. Asked about the flags and history but server was clueless. Food was excellent; service was horrible. Ashley the server was personable and capable but probably the place is understaffed.
Today I just wanted to try the shrimp and grits and it was wonderful I also want to give a shout out to damya she was so nice and gave us the best seat outside and also Ashley she was so fast like flash I will be back
This was my first time at pi bar and grill and I can say the host
Da’Mys was so sweet & has a smile that will brighten up anybody day she told us about the rooftop which was a great view server was also nice it was just hot as hell
I enjoyed brunch with the girls and our kids, the food was delicious and the server was very attentive. Unfortunately it took along time to get our food which was to bad however they forgot my eggs and red velvet waffle which I’ve been dying to try lol. I still recommend this restaurant
Stefanie is our go to and was great as always. The band was a nice touch but far too loud for such a small area.
Stephanie was absolutely great. She was very professional and knowledgeable. Her overall attitude and attention to detail was impeccable. Most definitely will revisit this establishment.
Limited selection...way overpriced. Would not go again.
We were very disappointed in our service. This was a special dinner for our 36 wedding anniversary renewal and our waitress came to our table eating food full in her mouth! We asked him to turn down the air due to it was very hot they did turn it down a little but I was so hot I couldn't even eat my dinner. We will not be going back for dinner.
Pleasant, casual and simple. The wine list is basic, but the prices are fair. The duck was a surprise treat, as was the outstanding hostess (sweetheart). Go there for the over-all experience, appreciate the architecture, enjoy the food & drinks, not so much the timing between courses and you'll have a lovely time.
very delicious food ! great choices ! and outstanding service!
Dined here on a Saturday evening. Our waitress Stephanie was great, very accommodating. We had the Oysters and Deviled Eggs for apps, they were very good. Entrees, the Crispy Salmon and the Duck didn’t do it for us, they were both just ok. The drinks were on point, Moscow Mule and Long Island Iced Tea. Inside the restaurant was a bit warm so we decided to dine on the covered terrace which was also warm but we were able to benefit from the breeze and the ceiling fans. The band that was playing that night was also good.
The ambience was very nice and the band was great! The best thing about the restaurant was Stefanie from Italy. She was FANTASTIC! She explained everything to us and my drink was not so good at first and she took it back without hesitation and quickly brought out a new one. The food was ok. Very over priced and you have to pay for your sides, for example: mashed potatoes or rice to go with the entree is $7 on top of the price of the main dish. Also, they didn't serve any bread. The reason is because of Covid. So the restaurant serves food, just not bread. If you like to snack on something while you are sipping your drink and waiting for your meal, order the hush puppies but you have to pay for those.
Food was good, service was slow. Entertainment was too loud.
Fish came out kinda raw... sent it back it came back a little better. Rice was chewy and broccoli was cold and salty... nice atmosphere though! Waiter was slow as well...
I tried 2 new dishes & they were great! The Avocado Cobb Salad w grilled chicken was amazing & could easily feed 2 people. I also tried the Ham Hushpuppies w poblano sauce (great spicy kick)! I sat outside on the veranda & aside from the regular street traffic it was a very pleasant evening. Even though the name is PI Bar & Grill it is a bit pricey. Still a great choice!
This place is dear to my heart. I got married there 2 yrs ago. We came in to catch a brunch buffet but they are not serving a buffet due to covid. The presentation and choices of food were good. I love the ambiance.
Food was overpriced for average, Rebecca, the bartender is AMAZING, hostess was rude
The food is delicious, the chicken dinner is enough for two peoples, salmon is cook to perfection, the colloard greens cooked in smoke turkey will give your grandmother a go, last but not least the mac n cheese with 3 different cheeses is the icing on the came. Desert u want need you'll be to full and have to take half of the food home. I absolutely love it and the weekend band.
Although the food was tasty, we’d probably choose another restaurant next time. The food took 45 minutes to get to the table after we ordered, and it was nothing that needed to cook that long. Unfortunately, the good food didn’t make up for the overly long wait time and lack of service from the staff.
The experience was okay and I would go back again.
Great atmosphere! There was no wait time for our reservation, service was outstanding! great wait staff and food was excellent! We celebrated our anniversary there and we highly recommend the P.I. Bar and Grill!!!
First time experience here as a couple and the food was outstanding!! We enjoyed taking the elevator to rooftop bar after dinner.
Beautiful restaurant. Outdoor patio was great. Our server was super nice and personable. Food was amazing.
Quality of the price did not match the food. The food didn’t have much taste. Only thing that was good was the seven dollar mashed potatoes. Cork and Flame is a lot better.
Great food. Kinda Pricey but worth it for the ambiance. We ate out on the balcony and the rush hour traffic was noisy but tolerable.
Went for a girl's night out. Great food. Not busy mid week. Went up to the roof top bar after dinner for drinks. Lovely view of Augusta! Highly recommend.
Fathers Day Dinner was horrible only had the buffet mone of the food was seasoned black eye peas were not done 1st time coming dnt think I will ever go back $55 for buffet and I only ate yams to fill up horrible experience I booked online they even called to confirm then get to the restaurant and was told my name wasn't on the list
The wait staff that I observed at other tables generally were very friendly and attentive however the person who specifically waited on our table was not. She was not rude however she left us with the impression that she did not want to be there. Every time we needed something it took an excessive amount of time to get it. She was a little dry and and abrupt with her responses to us.
We opted to sit outside because they have a beautifully wide porch and we thought a Sunday brunch buffet for Father's Day, but they had switched the buffet to the evening. The traffic was quite loud, but our server was very attentive and warm. Our food was good but not great. French toast was small, waffle (with corn syrup in a takeout contaniner) was large but I thought it would look aesthetically pleasing with whip topping, strawberries, and a dusting of powdered sugar along with real maple syrup. Fried chicken was delicious with an innovative combination of a red velvet waffle, but no icing was included as mentioned in the menu. Menu was way overpriced. Bathrooms had many things broken.
My Husband wanted to come to P. I. Bar and Grill for Father’s Day Sunday buffet; he looked up the menu and was looking forward to the buffet. We arrived at our scheduled time to realize that not only were we the first ones there (11:00) but that there wasn’t a buffet. We had to order off the menu, the food was good but it was a little pricey for not being a buffet plus we were overcharged for some of our items.
While the service was great, the wait to get our food was disappointing. After the hour and fifteen minute wait to get our 3 plates; the rack of lamb turned out to be lamb pieces. No accommodations during the long wait, bread, complimentary beverage…nothing. Very disappointing for the price.
Great place to eat. Great service, good view of the city
This place used to be very nice and high quality, we frequent here a lot. However, over the past year on every visit the bar drinks are very low quality and they take forever to make. This is unacceptable, especially when the drinks are approximately $12 or more each. We have also noticed a downturn in the quality of food. On our most recent visit, we ordered two steaks and we had very many mistakes with our order. First a strip steak was ordered and I was brought a ribeye, we sent it back and when the strip steak came it was flash cooked so the outside was cooked and the inside was raw. My fiancé’s filet was also undercooked. We ordered medium and medium rare steaks respectively. The sweet waitress took our steaks back and came back with a new filet that was incredibly raw on the inside, my strip was cooked fine. It was on the final attempt that we had all of our food cooked the way it was ordered.
I do have to say, however, that all throughout our visit the waitress was absolutely tremendous and her manager was very friendly and accommodating as well. They took several items off our bill as an apology and were very friendly.
All in all, we’ve decided we won’t be coming back here. Our biggest allure to the restaurant was the ambiance and the food. But being that the drinks are terrible and slow and the food service is no longer worth the price tag, we will have to find a new favorite restaurant.
We chose P.I. for my Daughter's 16th Birthday Dinner. We really enjoyed the food and especially enjoyed the service. Oysters were great, Pork Chop melts in your mouth. Catfish and Salmon were also great. Ask for Stephanie when you come. She made our night special.
We had a wonderful time!! We was a party of 6 and she made us feel so welcomed!!
Really enjoyed the music entertainment and food was delicious.
Nice atmosphere, great food, musicians were excellent, Great date night location...Service was okay but nothing to complain about. Would definitely recommend this location to a friend and will definitely be a reoccurring customer. Menu items were better than expected. Did not order from the bar but will definitely test the quality of mixed drinks on the next visit.
