- HHannahTampa / Central Florida West •4 reviews5.0Dined on May 10, 2025⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you're looking for a quiet escape with a touch of luxury, Afternoon Tea at the St. Regis on Longboat Key is an absolute gem. From the moment we stepped in, we were treated like royalty. The space is elegant without feeling stuffy—think plush chairs, fine china, and soft piano music in the background. You're right off the bar and lounge area so you still feel like you're part of the action. We went for the traditional afternoon tea service and it did *not* disappoint. The tea selection is extensive, with everything from classic Earl Grey to more floral blends like flowering whites and rooibos. I went with the lavender oolong- it is a MUST try. Now let’s talk about the food & presentation. An ode to the Ringling museum it is a sensory delight that satisfies both the eyes and the appetite. The finger sandwiches were fresh and creative and displayed on mini pedestals & frame. The scones? Tucked in a book- still warm, perfectly crumbly, and came with clotted cream and house-made jam. The pastry circus tray was a showstopper—macarons, caramel corn, animal cracker cheesecake and a cotton candy cupcake that I’m still thinking about. Service was attentive and kind without hovering. We never felt rushed, and they offered plenty of refills on tea without us even asking. Yes, it’s a splurge, but it’s totally worth it for a special treat, a celebration, or just a peaceful afternoon catching up with a friend. Highly recommend dressing up a bit—it adds to the fun! **Pro tip:** Make a reservation and try to grab a seat by the window if you can. The natural light and view of the Gulf of Mexico makes everything feel even more magical.More infoThe St. Regis Longboat KeyPrice: Very Expensive• American• Longboat Key•4.1
- JJohnVIPDetroit / Eastern Michigan •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024Great view on the water and atmosphere with the lights on Christmas Eve. We sat under the trees by the bay and the portable heaters kept us warm on a cool night. The Spinach and Artichoke Empanadas were a great appetizer and the entrees were excellent too.More infoMar Vista Dockside Restaurant & PubPrice: Expensive• American• Bradenton Beach•4.6
