Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in Bethesda

We dined at Morton's for my husband's birthday. Here are the positives: food was very good, service was very good, and we could hear ourselves talk! And the Old Fashioned was the best one I have ever had. Whoever the bartender was last night was terrific! The negatives: The decor and atmosphere remind me of restaurants my family ate at as a child in the 1970s. And let's face it: the prices are pretty astronomical. That being said, we had a lovely time!

On a rainy afternoon, we had a lovely, leisurely lunch with friends... cocktails, wine, a split starter and terrific entrees, with delicious desserts, all with the help of a pleasant, competent bartender and a great, attentive server. Great meal, lovely afternoon.

We were able to have breakfast at the Yardbird while in DC (we also ate dinner there twice). The food was wonderfully presented and delicious. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We really enjoyed our meals and highly recommend eating here.
