Sat on the patio....Everything would have been perfect except the noise coming off of Woodward. I felt like I was at the MIS Speedway...the local police need to take care of this excessive car racing. This is not the time for Dream Cruise. I really feel for your guests even with the doors open inside. It’s terrible. Good luck

one of our favorite places. this was our first meal out after COVID. We are so grateful that nothing has changed at this amazing restaurant. Amazing food and service as always. Thank you Phoenicia

We were so happy to be back to Phoenicia at last! They are taking all the necessary precautions to maintain social distancing and hygiene.

Most importantly, the lamb chops were so tender and probably the beat I’ve ever had!

Kibbe and sausage were delicious!! We had the mixed grill ( chicken was dry but the kabob and Kafka were very good.) we also had the lamb chops , which were nice but not spectacular. They were inconsistently cooked so some were medium rare while others were more well done. The pita was disappointing.
We usually love Phoenicia so maybe this was just a one-off as they had just reopened due to Covid.

It was really good. A little bit of a wait even with a reservation. And I had to make a reservation months in advance. But food and service was amazing!

Service was very good, he was there when we needed him but stayed comfortably out of our way otherwise. Was there on a Monday night and it was nearly full, free parking was a nice bonus.

Nothing special. Tubs great as always. Fish Branzino est too Many bones. Riyadh have enjoyed a cesesr salad.

Great Restaurant every time!

It’s a very nice restaurant right in my backyard that I met a friend with and dined for the first time. We sat close to the door so a bit drafty since it’s winter but ambience was nice. We were greeted and seated right away. The appetizers and small plates were a bit overwhelming as they were many and little descriptors. As someone as has lived in the Metro Detroit area for the past 20 years, I do have some familiarity with middle eastern cuisine and still had a difficult time discerning the traditional names on the menu with the actual dish. I wish our waiter gave us a better run down. He seemed rather impatient and did not really expand on recommendations. I think our general impression of the restaurant was clouded by our mediocre service. Overall our food was quite delicious - stuffed zucchini, Haloumi, soup to start and deboned chicken for meals. We had lovely dessert and cappuccino. Prices are on the high end (that being said I’m used to getting amazing cheap middle eastern, i.e. gas stations). The tables are rather close together so be prepared to tight fit. Otherwise, very cute restaurant.

Food was fabulous. Our waiter suggested a few appetizers that were perfect. We split the mixed plate. Everything was very good.

We always have an amazing time we come here and are never disappointed. There was a glitch with OpenTable that allowed us to make a reservation when the restaurant was already booked. Holly, who is the manager, was very gracious and helped get us a table despite the glitch. This is what makes Phoenicia our favorite restaurant in Birmingham!

The Detroit suburbs have a limited set of dining options, and it was wonderful to find Phoenicia. With the area's large and distinguished community of Middle Eastern descent, it seemed logical that a restaurant named Phoenicia would feature the highest caliber of Lebanese specialties. I haven't had such excellent Middle Eastern food in decades -- since I was in pre-civil war Beirut! Bravo, Phoenicia!!

great fresh Mediterranean with long history as a restaurant. my favorite is the lamb chops medium rare. Samir and Sammy are the best hosts

overall everything was good. A bit overpriced for the style of food. very busy. service was very good. I like that they have own parking lot and they don't even have a Valet - this is unusual in Birmingham. My only complaint - the 2 top tables are very small and so tightly spaced - person behind me kept bumping my chair. But we will go back.

They give you dried , cold , pita bread when you sit down.We were expecting some nice warm bread.
The ribs were very mediocre.I was told to order them.My husband ordered the baked chicken, which was just ok.It was my husbands birthday, so they gave us complementary rice pudding,which had a strange taste.
Very disappointed. We will not go back.
If you want really good food , at half the price, try the mid eastern restaurants on orchard lake in West Bloomfield.

In this area, you can get comparable Mediterranean food for less money. And the service was a little subpar (which, if the service had been excellent, could have justified the higher food prices). All in all, I don’t feel a strong compulsion to go back.

Fantastic experience. Cozy enough space but still holds plenty of folks. The environment is lively, hip, classy... fun.

The food was delicious and amply sized. They have a fair beer selection with a couple of solid ones to rely on and these days a nice place that specializes more in wine.. finding even one 'Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA' stands for itself.

Highly recommend reservations. We got in there at 5:30 & by 6:30 on a Thursday.. the place was sold out.

FYI.. they have a private parking lot as well.... in Birmingham!

Service by John was excellent. Unfortunately my veal chop that I had heard so much about was not. Came to the table very rare which of course was a major delay time my eating. Disappointing. I’m sure you know it takes away from the experience, especially on New Years Eve.

Very expensive for a Lebanese restaurant with small portions. Has a Birmingham,MI crowd which may explain the cost. Three people, four glasses of wine, a few apps and main courses over $300.
