We made reservations and I mentioned in the special request box that we were celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary. During our dining experience their was never any mention by the hostess, manager or waiter acknowledging this event. We also felt that we were being rushed to order and little attention was given to checking on our needs during our dinner. Overall one of the worst dining experiences we have had in 44 years of celebrating this event. When you also spend over $200 you expect more than being treated like you were eating at the Ponderosa Steak House.
Disappointed in overall menu. Online had full menu and in person menu was minimal, but server was excellent, honest and very knowledgeable. So we stayed and was very satisfied with both our servers. We stayed at the TI in 2017 and thoroughly enjoy the restaurant’s menu, service and food.
Nice place a little pricey limited menu due to virus. Service outstanding. Great for a special occaision
The food and service was awesome. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely return to this restaurant.
Our experience at Phil's was very good. It's kind of an Old Vegas style of steakhouse with the leather booths, big chandeliers, classy furnishings and table settings. Our waiter was very efficient, but was all business, no matter how much we tried to cut up with him. That's ok. We had the 16 oz. New York Strip, shared on two plates (+$6), along with asparagus and a baked potato. Perhaps the largest baked potato I have ever seen -- about 2/3 the size of a football! Really tasty, too. The steak was excellent and cooked properly. We also split a lettuce salad that was super fresh and delicious. The only complaint I had was I ordered a wine that was $17 on the wine list and I was charged $25. But it was a good wine, so I didn't even push back on it. The prices are just a bit steep, but the quality of the experience and food was commensurate. Recommended!
Best steak house steak I’ve had in along time. I am normally disappointed with steak house steak because I can usually bbq a bette steak at home. This was cooked to perfection and the char and seasoning was amazing. Our waiter “Eduardo”? (Sorry couldn’t hear because of the face masks) was great and was personable. I will come back on my next visit.
Great food and service, will definitely recommend.
Not what it once was! Sad, this place was my favorite steak house. Menu is not updated when booking, so what you see is not what you get. 3 options for steak and non of them have any flavor. Over cooked my steak. Sides are flavorless and the price has gone up on all items. What a disappointment and waste of money. For these prices you could afford to eat anywhere you want, hate spending good money on bad food.
Nice attentive staff. Quiet enough to converse easily.
Loved the French onion soup and bread. Scampi was cold and the shrimp horribly overcooked. I sent it back. No charge
It is a very nice place to eat. We had food vouchers that helped with the cost.
Food was very good.
over all it was good other than an annoying party next to us
Very great food and the wait staff were super friendly! Definitely glad we ate here!
Service was very good...the restaurant is old and worn....the steak was fair and not worth the price.
This place seems a bit retro with their decor but the food is outstanding!!!
Bread was delicious. Steak was perfect. Baked potato. HUGE and tons of butter. Delicious!!!!!
Waiters wore OLD white blazers and black pants. We would recommend for sure!!!!!
The servers were attentive and polite. The food took a lot long coming out but very delicious and tprices very reasonable. We would definitely be back.
Bone in ribeye was wonderful tender enough to cut with a butter knife. Friendly staff
Great food. They had a limited menu due to the pandemic. No oysters or mac and cheese.
The bottled tea they serve unsweetened is excellent.
Very easy to get a reservation last minute. The food was pretty good my fish was very good. The waiter was extremely attentive. The decor was outdated country club.
The menu is very limited. The staff is very nice, but the food is Mid at best.
Steak was overcooked. Waiter argued about sending it back. Steak was brought back overcooked again.
Otherwise it was ok. All other friends Dinning with us their food was great.
This was a good Steakhouse.
Great food and drinks, good service and great attention to detail.
I enjoyed this restaurant very much! Food & service was excellent!
Food was good, steaks are awesome. Dress code is SEMI FORMAL, we were told “biz casual” before but a sign at the check in signs says “Semi Formal attire” - my friend had trouble being with him because he was dressed to impress wearing a fashionable sleeveless shirt, which they said was not to code, but allowed him in as an exception since we had a reservation. Funny thing as he was dressed up while others inside we’re wearing a baseball caps and graphic shirts, way underdressed despite their “sleeves” - also mind you it’s summer in Vegas 100*+ outside, dress for the season. The restaurant was kind to accommodate anyway, and the food and service was great. Again, the steaks were phenomenal!!
Great food and service, can't beat this hidden gem in TI
The service was very good. The food was just okay. My filet was NOT worth $55. My husband grills filet better than what had. My husband had the Salmon, which was good. The French Onion soup was okay. I was really hoping for a really nice Anniversary dinner with my husband before Mystere, but I was not impressed. I highly doubt we will dine there again.
Very kind, service oriented staff.
Didn't think waiter was as attentive or as engaged as you would expect for a restaurant at this price range. We are non smokers. Smoke from casino was a negative.
Wonderful food and great service! We would definitely eat here again!
Honestly, the only reason we ate here was because we were going to the Cirque show that is in Treasure Island. There are hundreds of other places that you should go to.
We were sat right away. Drinks were good, bread was stale and yuck. My steak was prepared correct and was very good. The asparagus and baked potato was delicious! My husband got the Chicken Marsala, going with the "Italian" part of the restaurants name. Let's just say, he didn't finish his meal and shared with me.
The steaks were prepared perfectly and as described on the menu. Service was very good. Phil's remains old school. No glitz, no big noise but a great choice for dinner before the show.
I got the $75 twelve ounce lobster tail and it was tough. Service excellent as well as Branzino fish excellent but no prefix menu and were told online menu "out of date." Idaho potato $12 a piece with a dinner entree. No non alcoholic beers and no children's menu for our 10 year old. Overall, wayyyy overpriced and not.ebough flavor for this well travelled foodie family. A disappointing experience.
Elegant but relaxed atmosphere. We had three couples share an entree with a minimal split fee. All plates were beautiful and the food was totally on point. Great wine list and bar service. All steaks were almost fork tender. Service was thorough, well-timed and friendly, with no hovering.
Very enjoyable experience. Food very good, and servers were on top of things without hovering. Definitely worth going again!
Service was great! The salad and dessert were delicious! The steaks were dry and flavorless.
Wonderful service and food !
Great experience. Staff was very pleasant and welcomed us warmly. The food was delicious. Looking forward to dining again !!
Very limited menu, not what's listed online. Pricey for basic fare, would not substitute anything. Service was mediocre. Expected much more for the cost.
