food was great and bid enough to share------------------------------
Save your money! My husband and I went to Phil’s Steakhouse for my birthday and what a mistake. The food was terrible!
The food was excellent a cooked as ordered. The service was great. Perfect martini?
I had a few issues with waiter understanding my request but it wasn’t intentional. The food was excellent I will go again next time I’m in Vegas.
Beef Wellington was extremely undercooked...the meat was very rare throughout and the majority (entire bottom) of the pastry crust was uncooked (not under baked , I mean nearly raw).
Other meal (crab meat on fillet) was good, but not worth the price.
Not bad. Average Italian. Chicken Marsala sauce was good.
Our waiter really tainted the evening from the beginning. My wife doesn’t drink and when she ordered coffee at the beginning of the meal his demeanor completely changed to the point that we looked at each and said “that was wired”. He never came back to check on us during our dinner, he had the bus person take care of us.
Food and service was ok, it was incredibly noisy.
They were only seating people by the bar and the front entrance which is by the casino.
This had tile floors, so with the echoing of the flooring surface areas and being right next to the casino it was very difficult to hear and carry on a conversation. They have a large facility, the area right behind where they were seating everyone has carpet floors and is away from the casino noise AND SMOKE, and it would have been much nicer to eat in this area so you could actually hear the people you were sitting with. They should really give people an option.
I will give Phil's credit for seating my party early and they were running a three-course meal promotion that was a very fair price for a Vegas steakhouse. Our original waiter was very good but he disappeared after about 30 minutes and I got the impression the replacement waiter was not happy to have to juggle another table. They seemed short handed. The steak we got was a rather low-end grassy steak. Granted, the price was reasonable but my friend who I dined with is more picky than me and he barely touched out of it not meeting his standards. It was a long time between visits from the waiter and those visits were rushed. To top it all off, I got reprimanded by OpenTable for not keeping my reservation and not cancelling. That is on the restaurant for not telling them I showed up. All in all, the food was average and the service was somewhere between average and poor.
Wonderful food as always. Great steaks and wine. Great ambiance.
Everything was very nice. My wife loved her filet mignon. I ordered the large prime rib. It was a nice looking cut of meat, however the flavor tasted exactly like beef stew! I really tried to eat it but after I gave my wife a bite she said oh no. Here have the rest of my steak. Bottom line is if you are going to pay $50 for prime rib it better not taste like beef stew.
We celebrated our 29th Wedding Anniversary at Phil's Italian Steakhouse. The food was Amazing, The Service was Outstanding. Thank you for making Our night truly special.
The food was wonderful and the price was very inexpensive when you consider you pay $18 for a club sandwich in the coffee shop.
My husband had the MY Strip and demolished it and I had the Veal Oskar, my absolute favorite! We will definitely be returning!!!
Great food and service
Service ok, but not very welcoming. Food was disappointment especially since the prices are so high
Food was average, the service was very slow ( The Shot Show was running and they were very busy). Fish was over cooked and the steak was rare , had to send back for some more heat. Not a great experience. Staff was cordial though.
Only disappointment was they ran out of the Prime Rib. We were not told until we were placing our order.
Food was good but not special. Ambience is lacking - definitely feels a bit run down. Despite not being a high end experience, it carried a very high price tag. In particular, server rattled off some specials without staying a price, and then I was surprised by $85 for lamb chops, which was higher priced than anything else on the menu. Though the server was generally fine, not letting us know the special was signifantly costlier than other entree is bad form. We ate at Bouchon at the Palazzo the following day, a much nicer restaurant that was less expensive. I don’t know how Phil’s can survive with this model - I would not recommend it.
We gave this restaurant a second try within a year but once again rather disappointed in the quality of all meals. Not horrible but not what the only nice restaurant option in the hotel / casino should be. Maybe a 3 out of 5 but would of like at least a 4 or 5 considering price was not an issue. Maybe some competition would force them to a little better quality. We felt like we where being rushed considering we where one of the last tables in the restaurant the staff seamed to be hovering off to the side just waiting for us to stand up. Not a nice feeling when we are trying to relax and enjoy catching up with old friends and it was still 15 minutes before closing.
I was very satisfied with the ambiance, service and quality of food. I was skeptacle due to the mixed reviews but was pleasantly surprised to prove them all wrong!!! Open table made a mistake with our reservations and the Maitre D took us in with our additional guests on a fully booked night as it was New Year’s Eve at the time that we wanted. Wonderful experience!!!!
Great place to eat before a cirq desoli show in the Mirage or treasure island casino.
The food was very good. It was very expensive. I don't believe any food is worth some of the prices that are being charged.
The food was excellent and the server was delightful.
Was in town for the NFR. The food was excellent. Steak was very tender. I would definitely recommend to friends and also return.
This is not a good place to eat quality of food was poor and service as well.
The food was great, the waiters were excellent. The steak with crab meat on it was excellent. It was worth every penny.
Disappointing- 1/2 the menu was on point- the other half, not so much- went for Thanksgiving, paid $65 a meal, plus a ton of beverages- and the service coupled with 1/2 the meal being- “ok” - made this a disappointing experience- WE DID LOVE THERE PASTA DISHES- we would return for those meals.
We have dined here in the past and my wife loved the potato crusted salmon, which was still on their online menu. This was the only reason we went...however, they never updated the online menu so it was a disappointment that they no longer serve that dish. The service was great, Mario has been our waiter before and also this trip. He is very attentive and friendly. The food is okay, (I chose the steakhouse experience but was not as good as previous times I've ordered it).
One tip: guys, make sure you have on a t-shirt with sleeves...last time we were here it was 107 degrees out and they turned us away because my shirt didn't have sleeves.
We had an early reservation and were seated immediately. It was during Thanksgiving week, so it was a slower night, at least at 5:00pm. Great service - water glasses always filled. Great warm bread and butter pre-meal. My wife and I split a fantastic prime rib cooked to our specifications (only $5 for a 2nd plate). Great potato and spinach sides. One of the best meals we've had in quite awhile. Conveniently located near the Mystere Cirque du Soleil theater in Treasure Island. Don't miss this one!
Middle of the road rating, waiter had a personality of a rock, saw that all four of our party wanted the $45. Special, and then it seemed that we were not worthy of great service. His loss, we would have tipped very well if we had the service we should have had.
Mediocre food, slow service, below average steaks, poorly cooked, a real mess, no one there is paying any attention whatsoever
We were really happy with the service.i ordered the T.I. comp and got quite a bit more prime rib so than I expected so we shared. My wife's sirloin steak was not med rare but rather well done. But other than that the rest was great. We have had a lot worse and are sure they would have happily bumped it.up😉
Thought the pricing was a little high If you strayed from the advertised specials that draw you in.
chose this restaurant since we we seeing a show at Treasure Island. Our server was lethargic.
Cocktail service was slow. Ordered a special, filet and shrimp, I originally went with a english style prime rib. PRime rib selection is poor, either get a lot or little. I changed the order after hearing that brassini or mediterranean sea bass was a special. I learned after hearing another waiter explain the specials. Chee our server only told us of one.
The filet was undercooked, and not tender, the Brassini was barely visible on the plate. about the size of a slice of bacon cut in two. Brassini is a small fish and in the past served whole. This entree was overshadowed by the polenta.
Also she ordered the Filet and asked for a baked potato instead of mashed, but when i made my original order with the prime rib, the baked potato was a $3.00 upcharge. As i have learned over the years, if the name Mastro's or Ruth Chris is not preceding the name steak, your getting mediocre.
I was looking forward to a great steak but did not. My steak was well done and dry. Hard to cut. My waiter did not show up to table until it was time to pay. Not a good experience here.
Love the service and the food-never have to wait ant seated in a great area.
Phil's is a great place to dine before the show at TI. Close and convenient location with the theater and the food is quite good. All of the service staff were friendly and very helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice evening out.
We were seated promptly on arrival. Service was a bit slow to start. Food was excellent, prob. the best steak I had in Las Vegas. Nice ambience especially as restaurant is located adjacent to the casino. Would be a good pre show dining location.
