Had a great night.
Ms Texas was a great server. Fun and happy and thorough
Had a wonderful dinner after a fun day at the Harbor. This was the perfect place to end a fun and interesting day.
3 of our 4 diners loved their food. The. 4th diner had no dietary options to choose from off the menu so they ate plain bread.
But the uniqueness of each of our dishes was wonderful and all three types of seafood were cooked perfectly.
We also had desert to share they were also good. Everyone left full and happy. Prices were high but we expected because of the area.
First visit and loved everything about this place. Very spacious with low lighting. Big booths and adequate space between other visitors. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert were perfect. I'll return again and again.
Delicious food and great location. This was our first time at Phillips and it won’t be the last. Took the kids and they loved it too.
Our waiter disappeared for over 30 minutes and only returned when we had to ask the hostess to please get us our bill!
Very nice Neal. Food was excellent and service was outstanding. Miss Texas was our server and she was delightful. A wonderful night.
This wasn’t our first time at Phillips, but it was our worst experience. We ordered the artichoke crab dip as an appetizer and a few bites in found a hard plastic food wrapper that had been baked into the dip. The server was apologetic and took it off the check (we didn’t eat any more after finding the wrapper). Our main course food was good and the service was good. But at the end of the meal we asked for a “To Go” box and were brought a food container that was dirty and had dried food on it. There are many seafood restaurants in the area and I think it might be better to choose a different restaurant going forward.
Had stomach issues after eating here. For Baltimore, the crab cake was not good. Shredded crab “meat” is not good, and the inside seating was so hot & fishy smelling, had to sit outside in October.
Our server was outstanding! The meal was great, all types of food for a party of 6, all very happy.
The food was very good, authentic and faithful to the Chesapeake cuisine. The prices were a little high for the amount received and the overall presentation of the experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, but it isn't the most awesome experience you will ever have in your life.
We specifically asked for King Crab Legs. Our server told us, yes we have KING crab legs. After an hour of waiting for my salad to come out, the food arrives 5 minutes later. What was put in front of us, was SNOW crab legs. NOT KING crab legs. Then our server proceeded to lie to us, and tell us that “yes these are King crab legs, it’s what they call them here”. We asked to a see a manager, who was understanding, and offered a free beer to my husband. Mind you, this was our anniversary we were celebrating. We will never go back to this place again.
Excellent service, great food. The special birthday dessert for my mom was a beautiful touch. We will be back soon.
The quality and quantity of food has decreased over the years. My fishermans's platter (premium) was served with half a lobster tail, 1 mini crab cake, a very small filet of salmon, small shrimp, and the dish was no better than a Red Lobster entree. I also ordered the charbroiled oysters as an appetizer and was given 5 oysters. What happened to a dozen or half dozen?
The dining experience at Phillips Seafood Baltimore Harbor was great! The host greeted us with a friendly smile as did our server, LaShaye B., who was great throughout the entire dining experience.
Knowledgeable server who had good suggestions was readily available for refills, etc., made for a very enjoyable experience. Food was excellent as well!
Crab cakes are amazing!!
Delicious food, but pricey and the service wasn't outstanding. It would have been nice to have A/C indoors as it was humid and hotter inside than outside!
Food was bland, was given rolls but no bread plates, service was ok, but slow.
Loved the brunch!
Good food, but given their location right on the Inner Harbor tourist area, they can get away with charging very high prices. Food was good, but not truly exceptional as we had hoped given the prices. But, still a nice experience.
Our server was awesome yet the crabs were served barely warm, small and we sent back 4 of our dozen that were essentially hollow. The crab cake was dry and had shell in it. So disappointed with this experience and brand. Apparently gotten too big and lost focus on the basics of good food. Crabs were a specialty but not any more. So many choices. Went to Ocean Pride in Towson. That was awesome food. Good bye phillips.
Nice service and excellent food selection. The lobster in particular was excellent, the mussels, clamps and shrimp was nice, but a little dried up and not quite as tasty as I have had elsewhere.
Overall a good place and would go again as the selection is really good.
We went on a Saturday evening at 5pm and it was fairly empty. We were seated and the server took our order quickly, however our food didn’t come out for 40 minutes. The server didn’t provide any updates until 30 minutes passed and I asked what was going on (some excuse that the kitchen was backed up with no apology). I was with my kids who were restless and hungry so the wait was not pleasant. When the food did come out, everything was overly salty, fries, crab cakes, clam strips, crab Mac n cheese, all except the kids pizza. I took my kids to the bathroom when they were half way done eating and when we got back the bus boy was starting to take away our food. This isn’t a cheap restaurant either. The only thing going for this place is the location. We won’t be going back.
Outside service needs more attention. Seems like we were not taking care of often enough. Recommendations were good when we had a waiter.
Menu could offer more choices. Service was GREAT!
Tourist place. Food ok; pleasant server but slow. No follow up after food delivered and dirty dishes not removed from table.
Great seafood in a fun atmosphere. Must try Oyster Shooters
Good food and service
Busy but got food quickly. Easy local spot for dinner
Outstanding food and restaurant!!! My girlfriends and I went there for brunch. We loved everything except for the service. Our server hardly came to our table and we spotted her on many occasions just standing there doing nothing while us and other tables were waiting on drinks and/or checks.
Although the food was tasty, the cost was too high for the value. I understand location and that we paid tourist prices. Next time will find a more local restaurant for MD seafood. Also the smell in the bathroom was bad and overall the restroom was poorly maintained. Luckily our server was great and made for a good experience.
Four of us had a wonderful dinner at Phillips. I was delighted with my choice of the sirloin and crab cake combo. It was absolutely delicious. Save room so you can share a piece of cake - all twelve layers! We sat in the back booth which made conversation easy to hear. Our waitress was very sweet and checked on us just in the right frequency. I wish I could remember her name because she deserves a "shout-out".
Food was outstanding. Very, very fresh and very flavorful. the service was above excellent, very helpful and friendly. the waiters were very attentive to our needs and explained where all the Breakfast Buffet items were. If you go to Phillips in Baltimore, Maryland, you will thoroughly enjoy yourself. Seafood at its best.
The dinner for my wife and I was amazing. Great atmosphere and a great waiter. Can't wait to go again.
When I checked in and said I had a reservation I was told to wait in the waiting area, but I wasn't seated, after 15 - 20 minutes I had to go back up to remind them that I hadn't been called and other people were going to tables.
The service was ok, but the rest of the experience was very sub-par. Food was below average, atmosphere was well not sure how to describe. Very loud, dirty and inelegant.
Loud blaring music - didn't make for a nice outdoor lunch by the water.
Very good server thanks
