We dined for the Sunday Brunch Buffet with a party of 8 and had a great time. The staff were so nice and accommodating. We learned that we were from the same state as a couple of the waiters and they were nice enough to take pictures for us and with us! Oh and the food was delicious! We all enjoyed everything we ate from omelettes to french toast to grilled salmon to shrimp....everything was great! We would definitely come back again and recommend Phillips to friends.
You must try the Ultimate Crab Cake (the one made with jumbo lump crab meat).
Our server (Eric) was great. He handled the food allergy superbly, reassuring the food will be prepared without the allergens.
He also gave the kids a fruit cup each because one of them can't have the bread.
Food was delicious, but pricey. Cocktail was the bomb!
Enjoyed every bite. Fine dining at its best without the fussiness. We were on a food trip from WV to our favorite bites on the east coast and Phillips’s started it off perfectly. Valet parking in a busy area helped greatly. Staff met us at the door to show we were welcome... great waitress. My wife is the seafood lover me the prime ribeye perfectly aged and cooked. Yum
Service was very bad and food was cold by the time we got it! Several tables around us were also waiting quite awhile! I have there before and didn’t have these problems! Hope they able to work it out!
Wonderful service even the trainee make it a great experience all around
First, I must say that the food overall was extremely flavorful! The major drawback was the slow service time from kitchen to the table. Almost every dish from the fried calamari, ultimate crab cake, and onion rings were lukewarm at best.
On another note our server spent an absorbent amount of time conversing with customers and coworkers, which adversely affected her ability to deliver basic level of service. Had to repeatedly ask for a glass of water or for a basket of bread that seemed standard. We had to ask and waited for a steak knife so that my guest to eat his steak!
We came to celebrate my guest's Birthday on my recommendation base on my experience at Phillip's in D.C. I definitely will not go out of my way to revisit this Baltimore location.
We love seafood, so this is our kind of place. Bit pricey but the food was delious.
Always visit when in Baltimore. Solid menu with excellent seafood dishes and friendly service.
Everything we expected from Phillips. Great service from Rashaud. Will return when we are in Baltimore next.
Superb meal. Great service. Definitely worth a visit.
Overall it was not bad. However the entire order came out backwards. We ordered my kid's meal and an apetizer first followed by our entrees; entrees arrived first and the rest after. Food tasted okay but seemed a little bland compared to Philips in DC which i had a week earlier.
The food and the service were outstanding. It’s a little noisy, but we didn’t mind that much. As it’s right in the middle of the Inner Harbor area, it’s convenient to everything.
This is a special treat when in town. The location is great, server was attentive and knowledgeable when suggesting options, entrees were hot with impeccable presentation, but lacking a bit in flavor. The crab soup however was outstanding - always a must have! Overall pleased with this visit.
I ate all of the oysters I could eat. And Bloody Marys. Great value!
Food was good, wait was obnoxious for what we ordered. Think waitress forgot to enter our order. People who Sat 10 minutes after us received food far before us 😕
Overpriced Red Lobster. Was extremely disappointing and was not worth the price at all!
Phillips was superb. The crab cake was out of this world. The crab soup can not be beat. My mom and I had a quiet dinner. We split crab claws too. With that said we wanted hot crab dinner and did not understand this was unavailable this time of year. Website could have been more clear. Finished with the key lime parfait and all is well.
Made a reservation for 6:15pm. I checked in at 6:10 but was overlooked for 30 minutes. They continued to seat folks ahead of me without a reservation
A little pricey but better tasting food than I expected for an Inner Harbor tourist restaurant
The food was great. Service was very good especially considering how busy they were.
The food wasn’t as good as it used to be. It’s overpriced blah food. The quality is as good as Red Lobster.
The food was good. the restaurant was way too expensive and touristy.
Excellent service, and they accommodated an extra person even though we'd booked a table for 6. The food was good, and the wine also (and, as we happened to be there on a Thursday night, bottles were half price, though we only discovered that when the bill came). It's a large place, and was pretty full, which meant that the noise level was greater than I'd have liked, but overall this was a really good place to go. We recommend it!
Too much for such noisy surroundings. We could not hear each other across the tsble
The food and service were very good and the musician that performed was a nice added treat
The food was great & I would recommend them from brunch.
Did the brunch on Sunday, crab cakes were great. Our server Erin was very good and attentive.
My husband took me for a Sunday brunch. We’ve never tried it before so thought it was worth trying. The crab cake was good, oysters were bigger than what I’m used to seeing and the rest is nothing special.
Disappointed in choices available. Looking more for crab legs.
Excellent seafood house on the water. Makers of the famous crab cakes!
Horrible!! Don’t go or waste your time. Poor service and poor management! Save your money and go to Rusty scupper instead.
Fabulous food in a relaxed environment. Great service too.
First time here and the food was amazing. Our waitress was pleasant and the atmosphere was amazing. Would recommend to everyone who visits
Our waitress was blunt and not helpful. Never trying to clear the table and had completely forgotten multiple requests for various things. The shrimp scampi was flavorless. For the price of the food, it was definitely just a waste of money.
Today was just not good for the fish on my fried seafood platter was undercooked. The waitress Kendall was great. However, the kitchen could not get it right it came out raw 2 times and so they finally gave me a crab cake in place of the fish. For $33 the cooks need to get better. I am a loyal customer and the food needs to be right.
The food was wonderful and the service very friendly. We went fir Sunday brunch and the buffet had a nice selection of food
The food was so delicious! Best crab cake I have had in a long time. The atmosohere was nice. They had a live singer. It was a great experience.
My family and I had the Lobster Tain dinner and they were great! A little pricey but worth it.
Very nice atmosphere and wonderful staff. Food was delicious and will return.
