Seafood
Maryland is famous for its crabs, and Phillips Seafood is Baltimore's premiere restaurant for award-winning crab cakes! After more than 30 years in its original Inner Harbor location, Phillips Seafood has moved across the Baltimore harbor.

Beneath the lights of the massive 17-foot tall Phillips letters, now part of the iconic Baltimore skyline, you’ll find a casual, polished restaurant with a revitalized feel. We serve an extensive menu of classic seafood dishes along with plenty of dining choices for non-seafood lovers. Enjoy the music from the famous piano that has been rolled across the harbor, with live music nightly in our lounge. The open kitchen is a model of clean efficiency and provides a birds-eye view of the chefs in action.

Food was ok, I really expected a much better dinning experience. The service was very slow and frustrating. The waiter was nice and courteous but not attentive at all. I believe there are several restaurants in that area that would offer a better dinning and culinary experience for less money and frustration.

We dined for the Sunday Brunch Buffet with a party of 8 and had a great time. The staff were so nice and accommodating. We learned that we were from the same state as a couple of the waiters and they were nice enough to take pictures for us and with us! Oh and the food was delicious! We all enjoyed everything we ate from omelettes to french toast to grilled salmon to shrimp....everything was great! We would definitely come back again and recommend Phillips to friends.

You must try the Ultimate Crab Cake (the one made with jumbo lump crab meat).
Our server (Eric) was great. He handled the food allergy superbly, reassuring the food will be prepared without the allergens.
He also gave the kids a fruit cup each because one of them can't have the bread.

Enjoyed every bite. Fine dining at its best without the fussiness. We were on a food trip from WV to our favorite bites on the east coast and Phillips’s started it off perfectly. Valet parking in a busy area helped greatly. Staff met us at the door to show we were welcome... great waitress. My wife is the seafood lover me the prime ribeye perfectly aged and cooked. Yum

Service was very bad and food was cold by the time we got it! Several tables around us were also waiting quite awhile! I have there before and didn’t have these problems! Hope they able to work it out!

First, I must say that the food overall was extremely flavorful! The major drawback was the slow service time from kitchen to the table. Almost every dish from the fried calamari, ultimate crab cake, and onion rings were lukewarm at best.
On another note our server spent an absorbent amount of time conversing with customers and coworkers, which adversely affected her ability to deliver basic level of service. Had to repeatedly ask for a glass of water or for a basket of bread that seemed standard. We had to ask and waited for a steak knife so that my guest to eat his steak!
We came to celebrate my guest's Birthday on my recommendation base on my experience at Phillip's in D.C. I definitely will not go out of my way to revisit this Baltimore location.

Overall it was not bad. However the entire order came out backwards. We ordered my kid's meal and an apetizer first followed by our entrees; entrees arrived first and the rest after. Food tasted okay but seemed a little bland compared to Philips in DC which i had a week earlier.

The food and the service were outstanding. It’s a little noisy, but we didn’t mind that much. As it’s right in the middle of the Inner Harbor area, it’s convenient to everything.

This is a special treat when in town. The location is great, server was attentive and knowledgeable when suggesting options, entrees were hot with impeccable presentation, but lacking a bit in flavor. The crab soup however was outstanding - always a must have! Overall pleased with this visit.

Phillips was superb. The crab cake was out of this world. The crab soup can not be beat. My mom and I had a quiet dinner. We split crab claws too. With that said we wanted hot crab dinner and did not understand this was unavailable this time of year. Website could have been more clear. Finished with the key lime parfait and all is well.

Excellent service, and they accommodated an extra person even though we'd booked a table for 6. The food was good, and the wine also (and, as we happened to be there on a Thursday night, bottles were half price, though we only discovered that when the bill came). It's a large place, and was pretty full, which meant that the noise level was greater than I'd have liked, but overall this was a really good place to go. We recommend it!

Our waitress was blunt and not helpful. Never trying to clear the table and had completely forgotten multiple requests for various things. The shrimp scampi was flavorless. For the price of the food, it was definitely just a waste of money.

Today was just not good for the fish on my fried seafood platter was undercooked. The waitress Kendall was great. However, the kitchen could not get it right it came out raw 2 times and so they finally gave me a crab cake in place of the fish. For $33 the cooks need to get better. I am a loyal customer and the food needs to be right.
