Phil Stefani's 437 Rush is a Chicago-based Italian steakhouse, that is located in the neighborhood of North River, mere minutes from the NBC Tower and the House of Blues Chicago. The intimate dining area is decorated with tile flooring, waterfall countertops, leather booths, wooden tables and pot light. The bar is located in the heart of the dining space and hosts a number of large screen televisions which are commonly used to show championship games. Phil Stefani's 437 Rush has a creative menu that consists of traditional homemade favorites including, prime cuts of steak, charcuterie, raw bar options and numerous pasta dishes. Phil Stefani's 437 Rush also offers guests an extensive wine and cocktail list.

We were looking for a good Chicago restaurant and found it in Phil Stephanis. We loved that the food wasn't "covered up" with salt and seasoning. We had the filet and the Arugula/shaved veggie salad and it was delicious. We also loved our twice baked potato! This was our first visit and we were totally satisfied with the food and portion sizes. The only thing I would recommend is to change the seating/tables for parties of two. Ambience is very important too and it's always nice when you're part of the dining room. Too many tables surrounding the wall which makes one, in a two party, face a wall or their spouse!!!

Great steak and service was impeccable. Food is amazing. This was my 3rd time there. Can't wait to go back.

We sat at a table in the bar area by the window, it was a great spot. The chateaubriand was fabulous. Service was great too. The noise level was energetic, but low. It was nice to have a conversation and actually hear the person I was with.

We celebrated our anniversary here with our teenage sons. My son and I shared the chateaubriand that was done perfectly. My other son is an avid steak eater and was very happy with his filet. My wife does not eat red meat and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Lake Superior white fish. The service was first rate and everyone seems happy to be working there. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food never lets you down and neither does the service. While it is not a "kid friendly" restaurant, they always make us feel welcome when we are here with are young son, and they always have a meal they can put together for him. This great food and service keeps us coming back.

Appropriately broad Italian / Steakhouse menu. Food was excellent --- veal chop, cooked perfectly, and gnocchi with a gorgonzola sauce. Service was good --- waiter wasn't always around when we wanted him, but mostly attentive. The atmosphere --- I hadn't done much research on the place, so I wasn't expecting LOUDLY singing staff belting out old Italian-y tunes. Interesting, but not really my thing. Overall, I'd definitely go back.

It's not a real trip to Chicago without a visit. Steaks are off the hook good & Italian dishes are delicious enough to challenge the steaks for your attention. Seafood is fresh & prepared very well, too. Alejandro's always eager to serenade the guests with Sinatra's greatest hits. Ask for Andrea for uncompromising service. Five stars all the way around.

It had been a long time since we'd been to Phil Stefani's - my husband liked their Zuppa di Pesce, and I liked their steaks. Now they have a new chef (new since we were last there, at least), and the zuppa, which used to be a special, is on the menu as Caciucco alla Livornese. My husband ordered it and pronounced it very good, and only a little bit different in taste from the old days. I had the Dover Sole with almondine sauce, and thought it was outstanding. We started with oysters and an antipasto platter. The oysters were very fresh-tasting. The antipasto platter was pretty conventional, but everything on it was good. Service was excellent.
