We at Petrarca Cucina e Vino restaurant are very proud of our authentic Italian cuisine as well as our extensive wine list which features hundreds of Italian wines, but also includes several other options to meet your desires. We feature homemade pastas such as Lasagna della Mamma and gnocchi, meat and fish specialties, and desserts. Petrarcha serves fabulous food in a neighborhood/intimate setting: the standard menu is wonderful (one of the pastas Bolognese will make you consider licking the plate to get the last of the sauce). Do yourself a favor and order one of the daily specials: When it's winter truffle season, the fettuccine with freshly shaved white truffles is absolutely divine, especially when paired with a good Italian wine. We've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed.

We went on Christmas Eve. It’s our tradition now every year. We had reservations for 5. Our table was ready. We ordered calamari . It was delicious. My fiancée and I ordered the chicken parm with delicious penne on the side. Big portion. I could not finish it. We loved it. My daughter had eggplant parm. She enjoyed it. And two others had seafood with the squid ink pasta. They loved it also. The desserts are heavenly Amarena cherries with vanilla ice cream . I love this hidden gem! Bueno Appetit!!

Excellent lunch at Petrarca Cucina as always. They have the best gnocchi in NYC. My mista salad and profiteroles were also both delicious. The space is lovely and the service was outstanding. I look forward to returning.

We've been to Petrarca many times and always loved the food and service and atmosphere. This time our dinner was made very uncomfortable because all of a sudden the restaurant filled up with a very noisy bunch of young people. We literally could not hold a conversation and left quickly (after paying the bill).

I always enjoy this restaurant, we eat there on a regular bases. Service wasn't great, we had to ask waiter to come to our table to tell us what is a special dishes while I see waiters talking with each others for a long time not paying attention to us.
