Have enjoyed dining at Petite Auberge for years. Sad to see it moving to a new location. I hope the ambiance "travels" with them.

We did not have the best experience. Food was so so, server was nice and did all the right things, but appeared to be tired and was only going through the motions.

I have been coming to Petite Auberge for over 30 years for special occasions and the occasional nice dinner out. Our meal on this night was very good and we enjoyed ourselves. We ordered the Beef Wellington, one of our favorite items here. It was very good, although mine could have been a tiny bit less done - I asked for medium rare, and it was more like medium. I had the Vichysoisse; it was very tasty and icy but thin - maybe this is the correct way to serve it, but I'm used to a little thicker. My husband had the crab cake; I am from Maryland and am a crab-cake snob; it was really quite good! - full of lump crab meat, not too much filler, and not over-seasoned. We were both too full for dessert. They had a female singer who played guitar and Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins and similar songs; it was very pleasant, although I'm not sure if she is there every night or just Saturdays. My only real complaint, although it wasn't a really big deal, was that the servers seemed to be less attentive than usual; perhaps it was unusually busy, but we had to ask for an ice bucket after being told one would come, and the servers seemed to be rushing around. Even then, the service was good - just not as excellent as we have come to expect. One note - Petite Auberge is moving after New Year's to another location, so check the address.

Ed and I were celebrating a special occasion....our 10th anniversary...and I'd mentioned this when I made reservations, and also when we walked into the restaurant. I thought that we'd at least receive a complimentary dessert......no! I was a bit surprised to see the lower rating of a "B". Service was not particularly good....we had to ask twice for an extra roll, and server was not particularly attentive. The young lady who was singing was the most outstanding person we interacted with during our visit.

Atmosphere is lacking - dated interior, in a strip mall with tons of construction. Our server had to leave a few times to go ask someone to get answers t our questions - and had no knowledge of the short wine list. The food was ok, not great, and not worth the price overall. The good reviews are puzzling - the experience and the price come nowhere near making sense to me

We went here for our 14th anniversary. It was our first time at the Petite Auberge. We were blown away by the ambiance. We loved the fact that we could actually carry on a conversation without yelling over other patrons and loud music. Our waitress was more than attentive as well as the other staff members. The menu offered great selections and variety of foods as well as wine, mixed drinks, and desserts. You cant go wrong with this restaurant. We plan to celebrate every anniversary here from now on. Awesome is all I can say.

Did not feel like the experience, the food nor the wine lived up to the reviews. Restaurant very dated. Not really what I would call French. The wine list unimpressive. I do agree that the beef Wellington was wonderful. Over all just OK experience.

Service was excellent. Really enjoyed ourselves. This was a restaurant I went to several times about 40 years ago, and then moved away for a few decades. They still delivered a very nice experience and good food.

My wife and I decided to go to two French restaurants to celebrate her birthday. The first was a "hot" new one in the "hot" Buckhead area of Atlanta. Sadly, the noise level was deafening because a singer was seated in the middle of the restaurant, under a spotlight, with a microphone and amplifier, screaming unintelligible noise. We should have left immediately, but stuck it out. Two nights later, we went to Petite Auberge, also French. Was a different experience. Food was wonderful, classic-style French, with service to match, and no noise! Well-dressed crowd, wait staff knowledgeable to the last detail. Perfect in every way.

The food was amazing. Our 32nd anniversary was the night we went. And ironically we had our rehearsal dinner there. We even had beef Wellington which was our entrée for the rehearsal dinner. It was so tender. Petite Auberge is consistently amazing every time we go!!!

As always, Petite Auberge never fails to impress. Their food is outstanding, the service is always on point, and we leave wondering why we don't eat there weekly. Thanks for the great dinner, and a soup that was delicious while enduring the searing Atlanta heat. Petite Auberge continues to prove that fabulous "old school dining", versus "farm to table", can withstand the test of time!

The atmosphere was perfect, very French home setting. Nice music being played by a lady. It is more of an older crowd of people. We went for the beef Wellington, I had been dying to taste one. I was very pleased, so tasty and tender. I loved it. My husband had rack of lamb and it was very good too. Bread pudding was great. We will be back...we drove an hour and it was worth it.

Booked large party in advance. Ran out of items on the menu before we arrived for 7 pm reservation. Service was slow. Restaurant presents itself as mid to upscale but overall food and service quality is comparable to a French Olive Garden if there was such a thing. Pass on this one.

My husband and I were by far the youngest couple there. It seems to be a place with customers who return time and time again. In my opinion, that says a lot about a restaurant. Great upscale food but slightly more casual feel, not as "busy" as other restaurants which was nice. The Beef Wellington and Rack of Lamb are musts along with the Bread Pudding.

Petit Auberge is a wonderful dining experience that recalls the golden age of fine dining. Classic French cuisine combined with German favorites is rare today. Escargots Provencale were rich and delicious. The Four Seasons Combination salad was a great mixture of 4 distinct flavors, all of which were enjoyable. Where can you find Beef Wellington anymore? It was superb! We had a daily special, which was a Seafood Risotto that was as good as any we'd had here in the States or Europe. Dessert was a New Orleans Bread Pudding which was covered in a buttery Bourbon sauce with pecans and whipped cream - wow! Service was quiet and efficient. DO NOT pass this restaurant by because it is in a strip center or because it's been around forever...there's a reason it has been here since 1974. It's because it has GREAT food at a very reasonable price. You will want to come back again - I know we will!

Smaller restaurant but a great find! We lived in the area years ago and always saw it from the outside but never tried it. Huge mistake! Wish we would have found this place a long time ago. There was a singer when we went. Nothing really loud just in the background.

Great menu with old classics. My husband and I both had the beef wellington. It was cooked to perfection! They said this is on both their lunch and dinner menus year round.

We will definitely return!

Great ingredients equal delicious food. We brought our 12 year old niece because she's dying to go to Paris and we told her she needed to expand her palate first. We ordered escargots, which we enjoyed very much even if she did not. The pate was amazing and I highly recommend it. French onion soup was very good as well. The niece wanted to try coq au vin but it wasn't on the menu. However, all three entrees we ordered were very good: Beef Wellington, Trout Almondine and Chicken Piccata. The chocolate mousse and ice cream crepe desserts were excellent. About 6:30 a guitarist/singer started performing, which we unfortunately only heard the beginning since we had an early dinner. The setting was classic and traditional and servers were friendly and very competent.

The food was delicious. Your palate is not over run by so many herbs and spices that every dish begins to taste the same. On Friday and Saturday evenings there is delightful music that's played and sung in a manner that allows you to have a conversation even if you are sitting near her

My husband and I had gone to Petite Auberge a few times prior to having kids. It was alwasy wonderful, but seemed a little "stiff' in regards to the wait staff as they were much older. Our son want Escargot for his birthday we decided food wise there was no place better than Petite Auberge. Either we've gotten older or the staff has gotten younger as they were friendly, engaging, (especially Bree). Even the manager came over to chat which never happened in prior visits years ago. The food was incredible, the noise level was quiet, but not too quiet. The restaurant has retained the quaint charm and we look forward to another visit soon!

This was our first experience but it CERTAINLY won't be our last! The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Service was very friendly and attentive. We started with the Onion Soup which was super-rich in flavor. The Chicken Cordon Bleu and Coquilles St. Jacques were wonderful--you could tell how fresh the ingredients were from the first bite. No matter how full you are, though, you cannot pass up the bread pudding! The butter & Bourbon sauce is to die for. All in all, the Auberge is a great find--a place worth ANY drive. It's become our new Favorite Restaurant!
