   We did not have the best experience. Food was so so, server was nice and did all the right things, but appeared to be tired and was only going through the motions.

   I have been coming to Petite Auberge for over 30 years for special occasions and the occasional nice dinner out. Our meal on this night was very good and we enjoyed ourselves. We ordered the Beef Wellington, one of our favorite items here. It was very good, although mine could have been a tiny bit less done - I asked for medium rare, and it was more like medium. I had the Vichysoisse; it was very tasty and icy but thin - maybe this is the correct way to serve it, but I'm used to a little thicker. My husband had the crab cake; I am from Maryland and am a crab-cake snob; it was really quite good! - full of lump crab meat, not too much filler, and not over-seasoned. We were both too full for dessert. They had a female singer who played guitar and Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins and similar songs; it was very pleasant, although I'm not sure if she is there every night or just Saturdays. My only real complaint, although it wasn't a really big deal, was that the servers seemed to be less attentive than usual; perhaps it was unusually busy, but we had to ask for an ice bucket after being told one would come, and the servers seemed to be rushing around. Even then, the service was good - just not as excellent as we have come to expect. One note - Petite Auberge is moving after New Year's to another location, so check the address.

   Food was really good, price was reasonable. Went for our anniversary and enjoyed our time there, would like a better dessert menu though.

   Ed and I were celebrating a special occasion....our 10th anniversary...and I'd mentioned this when I made reservations, and also when we walked into the restaurant. I thought that we'd at least receive a complimentary dessert......no! I was a bit surprised to see the lower rating of a "B". Service was not particularly good....we had to ask twice for an extra roll, and server was not particularly attentive. The young lady who was singing was the most outstanding person we interacted with during our visit.

   The service was very good however the food was mediocre at best. The main course was undercooked to a point it could not be consumed.

   Atmosphere is lacking - dated interior, in a strip mall with tons of construction. Our server had to leave a few times to go ask someone to get answers t our questions - and had no knowledge of the short wine list. The food was ok, not great, and not worth the price overall. The good reviews are puzzling - the experience and the price come nowhere near making sense to me

    We went here for our 14th anniversary. It was our first time at the Petite Auberge. We were blown away by the ambiance. We loved the fact that we could actually carry on a conversation without yelling over other patrons and loud music. Our waitress was more than attentive as well as the other staff members. The menu offered great selections and variety of foods as well as wine, mixed drinks, and desserts. You cant go wrong with this restaurant. We plan to celebrate every anniversary here from now on. Awesome is all I can say.
