Always a wonderful experience. Attentive, knowledgeable wait staff, great wine offerings & scrumptious food offerings! Tabitha, our server today, is superior!

Delicious lunch - Croque Monsieur and frisee salad. All delicious. Our party of 4 lingered for a bit and our server checked in to ensure we had what we needed, without being intrusive.

Went for a night without the kids. Very attentive staff. 5 out of 6 dishes were well executed. The exception was my duck dish which arrived in a puddle of grease and was generally tasteless. All other dishes were delicious and well executed.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a night out.

I have been going to this restaurant for twenty years. It is still my favorite because of the food and the service. I usually go with 2-4 people, but I feel comfortable dining alone there as well.

Friendly staff. Pleasant place, which looks French.
My one recommendation would be that they add to their lunch menu some of the items that are on their menu in Columbia - in general some smaller more "lunchy" things instead of mainly appetizers and dinner-type full meals.

Neighbor said “it’s just chicken”. No it’s the finest roast chicken you will have anywhere. Nuff said. Service was on point as usual.

Classic French Bistro done very well. Excellent, attentive, and appropriate table service. Attractive, though crowded, dining room when busy. Convenient to JHU, making this a great pre-event spot.

Went for our anniversary dinner. Great food and service. Heartily recommend (get the salmon appetizer...even if you don't like salmon. The chocolate mousse is outstanding).

Went with a friend with one of my favorites, the trout almandine, in mind but had the comforting sauerkraut and sausage instead. What a treat! I'll look for that again on the menu.

I have been to Petit Louis several times over the years, and somehow it just didn't feel as inspired on this visit. Perhaps they are putting more energy into their new locations. The food was all good, but nothing that screamed "I can't wait til I come back again".

Always great, always dependable. I love their soft scrambled eggs. The green salad is so simple and so perfect. The French toast is light and eggy, the happy marriage of souffle and bread pudding. Coffee is immaculate. And then you have the sweetest, most light-hearted server one could possible hope for when one has a tot that you have to wonder if there's any other place that competes with Louis for breakfast.

Another great time. This restaurant rarely fails. The service, ambiance and food is excellent. My only complaint is there is a lack of gluten free options here and it was difficult to order, given that. Otherwise, this place has it all.

If you're looking for expensive traditional French this is it. Otherwise, for casual non-traditional dining, there are other options in Baltimore. We went for a special occasion and it was nice, and they made it special. But for the cost, there are options downtown that would cost the same and would have better scene and food.

Dinner at Petit Louis in Roland Park is reliably divine. It’s your favorite Parisian bistro sans smoke. Petit Louis is our preferred special occasion spot. Bustling, but we felt special. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Great food as always. We have been several times and always returned with a great experience. The wine list is impressive. Food never disappoints. We have visited the other restaurant from Forman&Wolf team in Baltimore. Both restaurants are in top of or list.

Always a classic. From casual date night to special occasion, this Baltimore fixture draws you into a delightful Parisian experience that simultaneously delivers on flavor, atmosphere and service while avoiding pretension. We have dined here so many times and have experienced such consistent quality, it was only fair that we finally expressed our affection for this absolute gem of a restaurant.

My family and I have been dining at Petit Louis for more than 10 years (it is our go-to Christmas Eve dinner as well) and we have never had a meal that was less than perfection! It is a great neighborhood restaurant and we often seen friends there when we stop in. Patrick and Emily are always friendly and accommodating, Mark has continuously helped us select the perfect wine pairing, and the menu is always full of delicious seasonal updates. Highly highly recommend this to anyone living in Roland Park and beyond - it is absolutely worth the drive! Come on a cold night and you'll instantly feel cozy.

Brought outstanding profiteroles to the table to help us celebrate a birthday. A very nice touch that did not go unnoticed.

I really liked this place, good, solid food at a reasonable price, especially for a French restaurant. A fantastic and lengthy wine list, with affordable options $40 or under as well as special wines. Service was also fantastic. I don't get to Baltimore often, but when I do I'll be sure to return.

A lovely Sunday night out. Restaurant was lively. The hostess found us a relatively quiet corner table. From my limited experience, I found the dishes very "French,' which we appreciated. I had escargot and quiche. My husband had a steak - maybe too big pile of pommes frites would be our only criticism. Our server generously poured a crisp wine that complemented my food. Husband had a Belgian beer. Several families dining - nice to see not all children require junk food. A real gem .

We are always pleased with the food, ambiance and service! On this particular occasion (our son's birthday) we continuously had to move our chairs to allow room for the cheese cart, my suggestion would be to purchase a smaller cart! The food and wine were fabulous! We love to visit Petit Louis for special evening celebrations!

Authentic French food experience. Good food, excellent service. The problem is the the tables are too close together. It is very loud because conversations at the tables next to you are so close. Really not comfortable sitting at the tables in the middle of the restaurant which is small.
