Best food and service in Bentonville!
Great food and great service from Precious as always
Used OpenTable for reservation. Very pleased with communication. This is a pricy restaurant so expected linens on the table, and for the price, not a paper napkin. Would have appreciated fresh flowers or candles. Although mentioned special birthday occasion, no note was made of it. Very disappointed for the restaurant that they had so few customers. Still, food, bar and service, all were excellent. Wouldn’t have hurt to have the wait staff smile. We were there for the food, and it did not disappoint!
Tried this restaurant with friends and found the food to be quite good. Ambience is great with a great central bar. Menu is limited but all good. Service was personal and excellent.
We loved our meal! The only complaint was the couscous was a bit clumpy and flavorless, otherwise everything was amazing. Short ribs were to die for, and my husband enjoyed his petit filet. Chocolate bread pudding wasn’t what I was expecting, but still delish nonetheless. Can’t wait to return!
Food was okay. Would not go back to sit indoors. The patio looks amazing but it’s closed for the season at the moment. They said they could make any kind of cocktail but I wish they had a cocktail menu. They just have a wine list. Server was very friendly though. Would like to return in the warmer months for the patio.
Excellent Food and even better Service, great selection of entrees and wine
The food was exquisite. We had Brie and crab cakes as appetizers. We both got the short ribs as an entree and we had the chocolate bread pudding for dessert. My only criticism was that they don’t serve bread while you’re waiting and I think regular bread pudding would be better than chocolate. Overall it was really good and I would go back.
Great venue. Very cool space. Food very good and service great. Very cozy spot if that is what you’re looking for. As a professional Chef I enjoyed the evening. Very nice!
You Gotta try it!
This place was unimpressive given the reviews I read before reserving. We waited an hour after our appetizers for our entrees, which seemed rather long. The prices were really steep for food that was good, but not great.
We enjoy this restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is very efficient.
The food was amazing, the service outstanding and the drinks very tasty. My only negative was the dust on the chair legs and around the base of the table.
We will probably go again.
We had a salad and pizza. Both were OK. Seemed pricey. The martinis were good.
The Petit Bistro is a fantastic dining experience!
Fantastic food and charm! Great service and now my favorite place to eat in Bentonville.
Excellent food, great customer service, wonderful atmosphere!
Always excellent food and service. No idea why people aren’t here more
Great little bistro!! The mussels are outstanding!! Yummy yummy! We will be back!
wonderful find will come back soon food was great service was terrific and room was quite
We loved the charm and ambiance. Your menu offered great vegetarian options, but for those that would like to substitute the grains for veggies. I feel like the portion of what is be substituted should be the same. My sea bass was delicious and the eggplant and tomatoes were delightfully prepared, but the few assparagus that were subbed for the couscous was a tiny bit under cooked and tough. ( hint to restaurants, cauliflower rice is so easy and not that expensive to keep on hand for those who eat Paleolithic or even keto, and it tastes wonderful if done correctly) our wait staff was great and the wine selection was good.
Little disappointed in the food overall. The food wasn’t bad by any means but I guess I expected a little better overall quality. The wait staff wasn’t the most friendly but not rude either. Overall........3 stars.
Always do a great job! Love going to eat at this restaurant.
Le Petite was a gem. It was my first time, but a quaint nice place with tremendous atmosphere. I felt as though I was deep in the woods in this charming restaurant. Additionally, the service was first class and the food was outstanding. A 5 star and a must for anyone visiting NWA.
One of the only places in NWA where you can get really good Sea Bass. Also the beef short ribs are amazing and the cocktails are measured to perfection.
This is the second time we have dined at Petit Bistro and after having had a disappointing first trip we decided to see if this was a one off. It wasn’t.
The service is very friendly but I just get a view that the chef/manager are bored. At least four of the entree’s come with the exact same sides which are grilled vegetables and cous cous. All really cheap to make and not paired to any dish just a means to pad out your protein of choice. I ordered a shrimp puttanesca. What turned up was shrimp Alfredo, rich in cream with over cooked shrimp and a couple of olives thrown in. Puttanesca does not have cream in the sauce and is one of the most recognizable and easy dishes to make for any chef.I just feel that the owners have lost interest in the place and just make money off the backs of their regular clientele.
We will not visit again and perhaps the owners should stop being so lazy with the menu and get some enjoyment back of experimenting with dishes.
Everything was good, except the steak. The steak was overcooked and just “fine.” We asked for medium rare, got medium. Service was good but not excellent. Appetizers were delicious. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant but I would say it’s just fine for what it is.
My husband and I had been here several years ago, but it had fallen off our radar. We were looking for someplace to eat outside of our regular routine and decided to give this a try. My husband order the filet and I choose the lamb chops. Both were outstanding! We also got a tuna tartare as an appetizer which was very fresh and delicious. We'll definitely keep this restaurant on our list in the future.
While Le Petit Bistro is a lovely restaurant with excellent staff, we were disappointed by the meal. The menu sticks to fairly tried-and-true options, such as chicken, steak, and a bit of fish. There's a heavy emphasis on the grill. While our steaks were cooked to temperature, they were under seasoned. One meal was the surf and turf special -- the steak was fine, but the crab cakes appeared to be Sysco specials and were burnt. One companion commented that her balsamic chicken was "worse than I can make at home."
I wouldn't say that the restaurant was terrible, but the food was drastically over-priced for what you got: mediocre mains, overcooked vegetable sides, and three potato wedges. The wine list markup was astounding, with some bottles more than 200% higher that cost. (I respect a healthy markup, but that was shocking.)
We were there somewhat early -- 6:30 -- but our guests assured us this was "prime time" for Bentonville dining. The restaurant, though, was a graveyard. After having eaten there, we understand why.
Bentonville seems to be on the verge of a solid foodie scene. (Sadly, we skipped The Preacher's Son to go here.) I recommend checking out one of the newer options.
The tuna tower, carpaccio, filet, and the limoncello cheesecake were all absolutely fantastic! Our server, Precious, was most attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back!
Always a nice evening here! A real neighborhood gem!
This is a hidden gem and the best restaurant and ambiance in the area. Small and cozy this place is a treat to go have a great meal.
Always loved Petit Bistro in the past. However this time the outdoor patio was closed and the wine was significantly overpriced (3-4x retail) Food was 3 stars. Hoping this was a one time issue. Hoping to see improvements next time. The staff is outstanding.
Too noisy to be enjoyed
This is a cute little stone house set back off the road. The pork shanks were awesome! My wife said the cream brûlée was one of the best ever! A nice little treasure...
Wonderful experience all around!
Our first visit. 3 friends. There was a table of 8 that was loud, however one was almost screaming. We asked the staff to mention how offensive the loud noise was. They refused. The next group that came on was so offended that one of the men went over and spoke to them. Too bad the staff didn't handle it professionally for all of us.
People in area know about this restaurant but visitors don’t seem to know about it. It was recommended on trip advisor. French cuisine which was done well.
Really enjoyed our dinner at Petit Bistro. Food was excellent, service was good, and it all made for a wonderful birthday celebration for my mother. Will definitely be visiting again when we are in town.
Anniversary dinner... it was a Thursday and it was very quiet! We were the only people dining! So we received individual attention from the owner and our food was served promptly!
