Visited Petit Bistro on a cool, rainy night. A good thing. Food and drink selection was to my liking, not overwhelming with too many choices. Waiter intelligently addressed dietary issues. Food was well prepared and at a good temperature. Lighting was low, not dark, and made for a most relaxing, enjoyable evening.
Food was average. Wine list limited. Service was very good. Ambience average at best. Not likely to return based on other superior options in area.
Very good food, one of the best of our town; great service. The place needs a little remodeling..
It’s such a darling little place and cozy. Easy to talk and never felt rushed. The food was wonderful and wine selection good. I highly recommend going there!
One of our favorite places. Never crowded, great ambiance, relaxed atmosphere and the owner (Dario) is wonderful to talk to. It's a regular stop for us for special occasions or just date night. Worth the drive.
We had great food, in a nice atmosphere, and service was great, would recommend
Waiter was great. Cool little place in a nice area. Food was good but not great with small portions and very expensive. Would have a better review if the plates were priced correctly.
When vacationing we always try to find quaint dining spots. Petit Bistro was perfect and thoroughly enjoyed!
Food was amazing! The ambiance was quiet and quaint. The staff was friendly and personable. We will definitely be back!
We love it here. Food & service always great! This time they were out of mussels & it seemed everyone showed up about the same time so was a bit busy. Staff was short handed but they took great care of us.
We got there just on time for our reservation and they weren't ready, said they were running behind. Offered to make us drinks while we wait. My husband's martini had no olive juice in it and was just straight vodka, finally get orders taken and the appetizer we wanted they were out of so thumbs down number 3. Ordered tuna tartare, it was alright, not great, very bland, just missing something. no bread was served; odd for a place so pricey, ordered the filet mignion, it was pretty terrible, cooked to specification but tough as boot leather and odd flavor, for 37.00 I'd expected a lot better than that, husband had lamb chops, again just mediocre. Dessert was only thing that was any good, classic napoleon and creme brulee and even my coffee had a ton of coffee grounds floating in it. It was loud in there. Our server was about the only decent thing about the whole experience. He tried hard, not his fault the food was not very good. Overall disappointing. For a 200.00+ meal I expect impeccable and this was no where close.
This restaurant is a special treat. The atmosphere is perfect and the service was fantastic. The filet mignon was the most tender I have ever had. The food was delicious! I noticed some entrees are large portions, while others are small, so I would recommend asking the server about that before ordering. I grew up in Europe and haven't been back in decades, but this restaurant definitely reminded me of an actual French restaurant. I definitely will be going back again.
The food was delicious and service very personable
Small quaint restaurant which makes for a quite and relaxed dining experience. Staff was very friendly, and the food was exceptional.
Would highly recommend. A rustic setting with awewome food/drink! Can't wait for fall so we can sit outside.
Lovely rock house, wonderful French wine not over-priced, delicious lamb chops and pasta with tenderloin!
We enjoyed our experience at Petit Bistro. Very quaint, relaxing place. We had the brie appetizer, and entrees were Osso Bucco and Short Ribs Bourguignon. The meat fell off the bones and sauce was very flavorful on both. We also appreciated the excellent wine recommendation.
Such an underestimated place! Really quaint and beautiful and the food was terrific!
Check it out, you won’t regret it.
Food was good and service was friendly and professional. My wife enjoyed her mussel dish. My Spanish pear salad was very good and my scallops were also above average. Presentation was also very good. Wine selection was adequate.
The food was incredible! Jason was so cordial and sweet helping us celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The grounds surrounding the restaurant are beautiful and serene. We will definitely be coming back!
Excellent place, excellent dinner. Our first time there and we will be going back soon.
Food was very tastyTjasson the bartender was very friendly and told us about a lot of cool things around the area
This was such a cozy and quaint restaurant that was nestled nicely, around or passed a bike trail of sorts. This nice delightful restaurant had that cottage feel to it. The atmosphere was relaxing and charming. Your dress attire can go both elegant or dress down, like if you preferred to you can choose to go dress up and or go dresses down. But either way will work. I found this restaurant accidentally when doing a research for French cuisine. And I am very pleased and happy that I found this restaurant, it is nice place to celebrate something that's romantic for anniversary or engagements or even for those special birthdays.
I found the owner/maitre d angry. He seemed like he hated being there. Pizza seemed like it was frozen crust w cold cheese. Not good!
Service was weak and not very helpful when asked about gluten free options.
I've been here numerous times now. The pork shanks are my favorite. The creme brulee is amazing! I will definitely keep coming back.
This was our first visit to this restaurant. The setting is very quaint and appealing. The service was very good -- attentive, but not obtrusive. Cocktails were skillfully prepared. What fell short was the food, which lacked flavor. The balsamic vinegar on the Caprese, for example, lacked the typical bold acidity one would expect. The scallops were rather ordinary, not unlike something you might buy from a grocer. They lacked any carmelization, were overcooked and bland. The petite filets were tender, but ultimately lacking in flavor, most likely from the absence of a high-heat searing to start the cooking process, and also from the absence of any seasoning beyond a tidbit of garlic sitting atop the filet. Petit Bistro is *this close* to being something truly special... perhaps with just a fresh bottle of balsamic, a higher-temperature grill and some attention to seasoning. But on this particular visit, it was a very expensive disappointment.
Great dood, good service; rustic, cozy atmosphere.
Perfect atmosphere and setting for a romantic evening. The service was superb, very personable and willing to please. The food was a little disappointing. Both the petit filet and salmon were cooked a bit much, hence dry. I have been before and this was not the case. The side dishes were great; the mango cheesecake was amazing! Will definitely return.
Outstanding menu plus beautifully prepared dishes hybrid
If I lived in Bentonville I would be a regular!
My favourite go-to place when in Bentonville. Food is outstanding with outstanding service from the owner.
Overall the food was very good. The owner/host was very welcoming. The menu was unique. The ambience was excellent. We go again
Exceeded my expectations. From appetizers to dessert everything was delicious. Would definitely come back.
Quality food! The prices were in-line with a high end restaurant and the food came close. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed the experience. We'll be back I'm sure.
Great atmosphere, food and service were excellent. Highly recommend for those seeking a unique dining experience in a quaint setting. Good value.
Dinner included Short Rib Bourguignon, Petite Filet and Chicken Pesto Pasta. Ribs were very good, chicken pesto was very good. Petite filet was a nice cut of beef, but lacked flavor from the grill. Wine list prices were high. Cocktail menu limited. Desserts were far and away the best part of the meal. Would return for dessert.
Good, not excellent but not bad. We may come back. Dessert was maybe the weakest part of the meal. Service was ok not great through the meal, they brought the check before we asked and before we finished our dessert. Hostess was very cold to start, warmed up during the evening.
Excellent Petit plates, great for sharing. Great atmosphere.
The food here is good as any in NWA!
