Food was wonderful and service was great.
Great service from Noel...very friendly and personable. It was an enjoyable experience. Plus, the food was outstanding!
We are here visiting a sick relative and this was our first time at this restaurant. The dining experience was as good as those we have had at the many fine restaurants we have been to around the country. I would certainly recommend Peterson’s to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.
Delicious food and and amazing service! They make sure everything is right and go above and beyond to help make it so.
We had reservations and arrived on time and were seated within a few minutes. The table wasn't the best because it had 2 of the 4 seats facing a wall, but we didn't ask to move. We had lobster bisque as an appetizer and it was good, but not great. It could use a few more pieces of lobster for the $12 price tag. For entrees, we ordered the fish special, the prime rib, and the 12 oz. NY Strip. The fish and prime rib were served as requested, and were delicious, but the NY strip was very undercooked (ordered medium-well, came out rare). It was returned but still came back undercooked. Since the others at the table were already eating, we did not send the strip back a second time. The manager (Mr. Bradley Phelps) was more than gracious and apologetic, and insisted on removing the strip steak from the bill. In all honesty, the taste of the steak was very good, even though it was not cooked to perfection. This will NOT prevent us from returning to Peterson's again in the future, as this can happen at any steak restaurant. The courtesy extended by the management was very much appreciated, and will go a long way in recommending this establishment.
The food and service were exquisite. We had a variety of entrees - all were excellent.
Coy was our server and he was beyond amazing. We received a referral from a friend of ours to have my husband’s birthday dinner there and we left more than satisfied. I would highly recommend the food, atmosphere, and staff.
We had sides and appetizers. All were excellent!
Had a wonderful birthday dinner. Loved the crab cakes (mostly crab with just enough extras to make them delicious) and wedge salad! Steak had great flavor and was perfectly cooked. Our waiter was attentive but not obtrusive, and the ambiance was pleasant and not overpowering. We’ll be back!
GM service and food top notch
I visit Peterson's Steak and Seafood frequently for an outstanding meal and wonderful service. It is refreshing to have consistently superb quality in a family run business. I travel quite a bit for work and cover several major cities. I appreciate being able to frequent establishments that are locally recognized for excellence, integrity and high quality.
I will order the filet mignon most often and it is prepared perfectly to my standards. I hate to admit this, however, I have become a bit of a food snob, especially when it comes to my filet standards. Peterson's does not disappoint. I have had the pleasure of having both Kevin and Summer attend to my table on many occasions. They are fantastic! I am sure everyone that is a member of the team is of the same caliber! All seem to love their positions and caring for the clientele.
Well done Peterson's! I'll see you again very soon.
The service and ambiance were absolutely amazing but I think for a $110 worth of steaks my husband and I have had better for less money.
Another outstanding dining experience at Peterson’s! Menu and wine list always offer great variety. Service was fantastic - thanks to Kaitlyn for taking great care of our party!
Coy made our visit wonderful, as we celebrated our anniversary!! Thank you!!
The food was ok. The sides were amazing. We had the crab macaroni and cheese and the Au Gratin potatoes. My wife ordered the king crab. It came out cool, and one piece was cold. My scallops were over-seared and had that bitter burnt taste. The food took too long to come out, and the server was lacking. Rarely came to check on us or refill our drinks. I think for the $240 we dropped on a dinner for two, we will go elsewhere.
Not a great dinner...maybe an off night or something / first two meals ordered were not available ended up settling for ny strip and prime rib / ny strip came out over cooked (ordered medium) no pink second came out medium rare leaning more toward rare...prime rib was ok...my opinion is way overpriced for the food received...service was very good and they did take the ny strip off of the bill.
We were not greeted when we arrived, which should have been a sign of things to come. This was our anniversary, which they new about. This information usually makes the evening flawless. We were sat at the tiniest wobbly table for two, It became busy and I shouldnt have to ask for a new table (so i didnt, but should have). Suprisingly, the mac and cheese was warm not hot, this was not appetizing at all. The lobster fingers were not good and over breaded. The chopped steak was overwhelmed with blue cheese and not enough onions and sauce. We will not be back. Our expectations were pretty high since we have had great experiences in the past. It is unfortunate this experience did not live up to the costs paid.
Took 2 hours to get our food because I think they forgot about us or they said that there was a fire in the kitchen.
The food was delicious. The table seemed close to other tables but far away from my husband. The service wasn’t good. We had to ask for dessert menu three times, drinks took ages to come out, waited for our check for over 45 minutes. I went to get coats and had to flag down our server to get the check.
I had very high hopes for my evening dinner last night with my husband. I expected more because of the reviews, I thought this place would be a delightful experience. First impression, there was a wait for the table and while waiting looking around people are not dressed in business casual more like casual. The tables were very close to each other, no personal space. After being seated my table was extremely small, probably 14 inches wide and 28 inches long, all the dinnerware was on the table it looked overcrowded.
To start I got the jumbo gulf shrimp and the chocolate martini. Shrimp was good, the cocktail sauce had the horse radish on it, which was very strong. The chocolate martini was very milky/creamy, and the chocolate was in the aftertaste, wasn’t my favorite. We got only 2 pieces of bread, which were pretzels instead of bread, I would have liked to get more but we never did.
We ordered steak, I got the center cut filet mignon and my husband got the New York strip. We asked for medium well on the steak and for the side we got the Au Gratin Potatoes. The potatoes they were like scallops, they tasted more creamy instead of cheesy, which I liked my husband didn’t. The steak once placed on the table we were asked to cut inside my husband’s was a medium rare instead of the medium well, mine was as well. I sent it back twice to get finally a medium well. The steak was very juicy not much flavor, I could taste the salt mostly.
I finished with a cheesecake and my husband got the vanilla ice cream. I very much enjoyed the cheesecake it was perfect, the appearance was very smooth and it melted in my mouth, the berries were a good complement. My husband liked the vanilla ice cream it was gourmet and they serviced it with a long dark wafer, it looked like a vanilla bean.
The service was decent, the waitress was not very attentive. The manager covered the cost of my steak, which was nice. If I were to come back it would be for the amazing cheesecake.
Very nice restaurant. We had ribeye and duck. Ribeye was good. Duck was in a bowl and a little bit overmoist. Wine and port were great. Service was good. 2nd time was good but first visit was better. We will plan to go again.
As always, Peterson's knows how to deliver an exceptional dining experience. The service, menu selection, ambiance, and food are top notch. From the time you are greeted at the door until you leave the restaurant, every staff member is focused on making your evening special. I highly recommend Peterson's for any special event dining.
My wife and I ordered the filet minion. It was prepared to perfection. The service was excellent and the place had a quiet elegance. We’ll be back.
Was good for a special occasion like a birthday. Not something we could afford on a regular basis. My only complaint is the salads that cost $9- $10. If they don't come with the meal they should taste better. My spinach salad was not that great.
Wonderful service. steak was outstandings. great atmosphere to dine in. Music was just right and surroundings were beautiful.
The restaurant was clean and the Jazz music was pleasant. We were given bread appetizers to start. We loved the pretzel bread with the horseradish butter. The French Onion soup lacked broth and it wasn’t very flavorful. It was overloaded with onions and was served almost at room temperature. Lobster bisque tasted good, though it only had a few small pieces of lobster. Our wedge salad was very flavorful, though the presentation wasn’t inviting. Both of us ordered filet mignon, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked to our liking. We shared a side of the Mexican corn, which I thought was on the spicy side, but still good. For dessert, the sugar cream pie and chocolate cake were amazing. The portions were huge! As for our cocktails, they were very well made. He had a martini and I had a vodka drink, similar to a Moscow mule but with strawberries added. Our server was nice, though we didn’t hear the specials that other servers mentioned before we ordered. Overall, it’s 3 out of 5 for us. Our experience was neither horrible, nor earth-shattering. With so many other eating options in the area, and for the $200 we spent, it will be a while before we head back.
The service was fantastic. It is nice to see Peterson's still understand that customer service is at least 50% of the experience. We felt the staff made us feel like it was our place. The food was really good. The King crab mac and Cheese was a surprise. The crab cakes are not east coast style but an interesting interpretation nonetheless. I enjoyed them. We also had the Trio Chefs special and the bacon stuffed shrimp was delicious. We plan to go back and try the steaks. We have been all over the world and previously one of my favorite places to eat was in New Orleans in the quarter or Green Valley Station in Vegas but I never realized we had a five star restaurant right here in Fishers. Well done Peterson's.
Service was on point, server was friendly and helpful. Price was the only issue don’t think there’s much food that’s worth that much money
We had previously frequented Peterson’s. We were somewhat disappointed in the attire of the patron’s...we thought it was business casual? Some people were dressed as though they were going to a fast food restaurant! Also thought that pictures were being taken of each couple...no one said a word to us? Overall it was a good experience, but not sure that we will go back quickly!
Very good overall experience.
This was one of my most relaxing dinner's I can ever remember on one the most hectic days to dine, Valentine's Day. Our server, Kevin, really put us at ease and did not check on us too much so we could enjoy our dinner and conversation. We were seated in a very private booth which also added to our excellent experience. The food and wine were excellent as usual, we also really appreciated Kevin waiting until we had finished our appetizers before bringing us our dinner. Just an exceptional experience all around. Can't wait to celebrate another special occasion at Peterson's!
Food was fantastic. Sergio took great care of us.
Lovely service by kaitlyn. Nice to see the GM Bradley checking in on guests.
Noel has been our server during our last two visits.
She's friendly, personable and does a great job.
The food was excellent, and the prices are reasonable for a higher end establishment.
Excellent meal from start to finish. Love the intimate tone of the restaurant. Personable service without being stuffy. Always enjoy this place.
I have known about Peterson's for years but never went now I will go all the time. Excellent!
Great place to have a nice meal. Wonderful service and food. One of the best, if not The Best steak house in Indianapolis. I highly recommend Peterson’s!!!
It was excellent. I sat (by choice) in the bar area. Chelsea and Kyle served as bartenders, and waiter and waitress. They were the best team I’ve ever had. They new their bar, their menu and very quickly new their customer. I cannot say to much on the professionalism.
The generally manager Bradley was through the area several times, checking at each table making sure al was well.
My steak was cooked perfect and he sides were delicious.
A five star experience
