Great food. Sat outside on a perfect day. New England clam chowder and steamers are excellent. Toilets need more attention.
Peters has yummy clams, salads, shrimp and other delights with a great ambiance and excellent service. We had our book club there and it was perfect.
Great service, the food was good, good drinks. I would definitely go back.
Good food, great waterside seating
Pete's is always good and once again did not let me down.
I have never been so rushed in my life when eating at a restaurant.
We didn't even finish our appeitizer when our main course came out.
Every time you looked up, the busboy was waiting for you to finish.
The lobster rolls were non events...would never, ever go back
Great service, great food
Top notch food
The food was phenomenal and the service was fantastic. I always love coming to Peters Clam Bar. Every time I am there it is amazing.
We sat outside and the weather was great, A little chilly but for April, it was great. The server was excellent and the food was awesome.
Keep in mind, this is not fine dining, it's more family and local friendly and if I had to rate it based solely on that, it would be 5 stars all around. We will definitely be back many times..
Haven't been there in years! Had friends from the city come visit and thought we'd give it a try; the food was excellent, from the 2 types of raw clams, octopus salad, seafood salad, steamers, etc! The service was not great, our waitress was split between outside and inside, where we dined and very little attention; certainly service not in line with their pricing.
Food, service, ambiance are all excellent.
Very careful about strictly following Covid safety procedures.
Had a great time. Food was good and at a reasonable price. Would return.
The waitress was awful. She took forever to get our drinks. She acted like she did not want to be there. The clam chowder tasted like it came out of a can. And the lobster meat tasted like it was frozen.
IT WAS ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE WORST MEALS I HAVE EVER HAD.
This restaurant should not be in business.
Haven't been to Peter's Clam Bar in ages and the food was as phenomenal as I remembered it! Our seafood extravaganza consisted of fried calamari, a dozen oysters, bacon wrapped scallops, fresh lobster, clams, mussels with rice, corn, a side of asparagus, and the chef's choice dessert which was a cheesecake slice with cool whip and raspberry sauce were all delicious! The staff was super friendly and caring too. The environment took COVID precautions seriously and placed everyone within a reasonable distance. The ambiance was quiet and it wasn't packed.
Awful service been there a million times the place was barely even busy our waitress barely came over to us we had to keep calling her over to ask for things. The water tasted like toilet water. No clue what is going on there but something needs to be fixed... and get a filtered water system!
We enjoyed Peter's for Dinner, Fried Clam Platter and Broiled Seafood Combo Platter were delicious. Socially distant tables, we felt safe and comfortable. Looking forward to returning soon !
Went on a Monday and we were the only people there. Obviously due to Covid. Staff was very kind. Food was delicious as usual.
It's the best seafood resturant on the south shore.
Overall good service large portions food pretty good
I brought two babies around 5:30 before dinner rush. We were treated like royalty and the food was outstanding. Octopus salad and baked clams keeps me coming back for more!
It was a great first time experience
Amazing food and drinks. Friendly environment with a beautiful view of the waters.
Great food, great Service. Dining room VERY noisy, voice trying to recover lol
Eat at the clam bar next door, it seemed quieter, we wanted to sit outside but it had just rained and they closed outside.
Food was great, had a great time. The lobster garlic bread was great!
Great place for a summer evening!! The food was delicious & our server did a fantastic job. Will definitely visit again.
Great food but no air conditioning on a very hot day
If you cannot sit outside do not go to this restaurant on a hot day. The restaurant AC does not work. It only seems to work in the front of the restaurant. So go to the clam bar area or outside on the deck. The waitress was a little confused and caught an attitude after we complained about the heat. The table next had a different waitress and when they complained about the heat she immediately opened the windows. The manager was no help at all - all he said was the AC is working at 50%. He didn't even think to open the windows just gave an excuse that the door to the deck seating was opening and closing all the time.
Server was very un attentive, went with a party of 7 and the table was full of our appetizer plates as we were ready for dessert. Always out of water and then we’re given an attitude when ordering and asking for certain things. Would not recommend going back for the price we payed food was not worth it and the service was horrible
Good food, good service, good drinks, great view. What more could anyone want? We're locals so not our first time, or our last!
The best thing about the place was the band. The food was so-so but the service was excellent.
A beautiful spot with good food for a good price.
Food was very good. Service was good too. Our reservations were made 1 month ahead of time for 9 people for indoor seatING which was confirmed with 2 phone calls prior to our date. Upon arriving, we were not seating inside and instead sat outdoors on a hot, humid summer night right after a terrible rain storm. We sat on wet chairs and our clothing got drenched. I do not comprehend how a table inside was not provided being that we had set reservations.
Broiled fish/seafood excellent. Clam strips great! Fish and chips, tasteless with little fish. Fries seem cooked from frozen.
Server was slow to volunteer asking chef about lactose free options and removed plates while some were still eating - felt rushed at beginning and end.
This visit was off because I found a hair in my food but our waitress was great. Will def give them another chance and recommend it.
There were 7 of us in our party. We ate outside on the restaurant side. We had a reservation and there was no wait. It was a beautiful day. The food was great - Calamari app, 2 Seafood Salads, 1 Flounder Sandwich, 1 Caesar Salad with steak and 3 burgers. All delicious and the service was great! Would definitely recommend going there!
Everything was delicious and I loved the location!
Went there for a 70th birthday celebration. Delicious food
Baked clams were wet bread with chopped clams. Soggy and tasteless.
I ordered Jumbo soft shell crab off the fried portion of the menu, but then the waitress asked if I wanted it sautéed and I thought I had an option. I said sautéed would be fine, but then I was served 3 soft shell crabs over linguine, drowning in some kind of sauce. It was a fiasco.
Absolutely wonderful. I have trust issues when it comes to seafood but I knew what I was eating was FRESH! I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.
