They have permanently closed their doors.
I would love to say we enjoyed our meal, but didn’t get one. We had reservations many days prior to our dining time but when we arrived (on a Saturday night) the restaurant was deserted and a handwritten “closed” sign taped to the door. Since we drove over 20 miles to get to Peter D’s, the restaurant’s failure to notify us of their closure was even more upsetting. Very disappointed wanna’ be diner.
They are ClOSED and NO longer operating. Please take off the open table site.
So sad Peter D's has closed it doors. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This place is fabulous!! Too bad they closed the doors Wednesday night....such a disappointment, leasing it to McAllister's Deli????? That's just wrong.....PLEASE bring back Peter D's!!
My favorite restaurant in Murfreesboro never disappoints. Great staff, great food, great atmosphere. I'm not going to sully a stellar review with more words. Just go and eat there.
The salmon and Delmonico steak were very good. Prepared just as ordered. Great service. Our server was attentive and funny. We would have preferred to sit in the back instead of the loud bar area.
Food was really good but service was exceptionally slow.
Great food. Great service. The waitress was attentive, informed, and professional. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I would certainly recommend for an evening meal out here.
Great food and experience! Would love to see a high end craft beer like Bearded Iris brewing Homestyle
Service was a little on the slow side at booth in bar area.
Food was very flavorful but took a while to make it to our table.
Patrick provided great service and the food was very good.
Always have a great meal at Peter D’s! We celebrated my sons 12th Birthday with our family of four. Our waiter named Mika was great and attentive. It was a bit hot in the restaurant so maybe the wait staff can wear polo shirts for their Attire? Thanks, Kara
Food and service was great. Restaurant music was too loud.
An excellent experience with good food and exceptional service
Peter D's is always a nice spot for lunch or dinner. We haven't been there for breakfast but I'm sure that is also great. We regularly frequent several of the Demo's locations and have always found them to have great service and a delicious and very reasonably priced menu.
Tyler, our server was great except he didn't bring us our bread until after our entree had arrived. The food was good. Steak was perfectly cooked although on the thin side.
Absolutely great service and food I would defiantly go back !
Food was excellent. Zach's service excellent as well. Seemed to have a heavy alcohol influence... decor, etc. Not a fan of that.
The wait staff is kind, and helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu, made my selection easy, atmosphere is upbeat, and very peaceful. Will go back again!!
Great food and ambiance. Not your typical dishes you get at the chain restaurants. The prices are above the median bout fair for the quality. Although the entré dishes are amazing, save room for dessert. They are the BOMB.
Can't say enough about how well Peter D's handled the Valentines Day dinner. Start to finish, it was a great experience. And $50 for a two person 3 course? What a deal!!! They allowed us to add an additional appetizer as well which helped to feed our little one also. About that... They were so patient with us! I know the place was packed and they need to turn these tables over ASAP, but they were so patient with us and our 1yr old. The service was outstanding, as always. The food was great, and we just had a delightful time.
Took wife for vale tines--Took kids a few days before, and I bring my parents here when they fly in for a visit. Awesome food. Recommend the ruben fritters and the banana pudding.
Everything from the atmosphere, food to the service was excellent. We visit there a few times per month and I can honestly say we have never had a bad experience. If you go there on a Friday night you'll be entertained with some fantastic live music too!
Also, I believe they may be open for breakfast now as well. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're missing out!
Reservations on Valentine's Day were an absolute necessity. When we arrived (20 minutes early) folks without reservations were being told over an hour wait. Sadly,my wife and I watched people with the same 6:30 reservation who arrived after us be sat ahead of us. There was a live musician playing amplified music and they also had music playing through the PA which led to a strange setting. None of this ruined the meal, but we'll never be back for a special evening. My steak was great, cooked and seasoned perfectly and the baked sweet potato was one of the best I've had. Their fresh bread is a match for any other restaurant I've been to. My wife's black bean burger fell apart; she was ok with the flavor but nothing to write about. Service was a hair better than just ok for such a busy evening. Again, it's good food overall and decent value; but we won't be back on special occasions.
Been here three or four times and enjoyed every visit. Went on Valentine's Day for a quiet meal and were not disappointed. Service was great, staff was friendly. Food was served quickly and was delicious. Continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Murfreesboro.
We went on Valentine's Day our 27th together. Peter D's is one of the few places in our town that will accept reservations so on special occasions I can plan a date night and first know I will have a table. The food is great with a lot of neat choices. We enjoyed the couples special which had a great value without sacrificing quality. The steak Delmonico is our favorite and it was one of the offerings, and to top it off they had 1/2 price wine on a busy night. I can't think of another restaurant that offers a great special on Valentines Day. They may have a special but it comes with an inflated price. My only caution is if you grew up going to Demo's and love their menu keep going to Demo's because Peter D's is not designed to be Demo's. We love and enjoy both restaurants and the Demos family. I have lived in Murfreesboro since 1987 and these restaurants are a part of our culture.
My wife and I have gone to Peter D's on many special occasions and for casual lunch dates. It has always been comfortable, we have always gotten good service and I especially like their wine offerings. I have taken friends and an occasional group there for lunch.
My favorite restaurant in Murfreesboro!
An excellent steak, great wedge salad and a glass of wine made a perfect Valentines meal!
The filet wrapped in bacon special was fantastic! The service was especially good as well as ambiance
Had to send an entree back as it was not cooked. They did end up comping the meal.
Although usually quite pleased, this experience was very much unsatisfactory. The purpose of this reservation was for the vedio release celebrating her first hit single.
We were seated outside viewing area. The noise was too loud to hear her performance.
We had to leave our food and stand in the ile.
I feel I was misled. I am in the music industry. My associate and I could have just had dinner anywhere.
The food was tasty and the server was friendly. The only down side was the music, it was very loud which made it difficult for us to have conversation across the table.
Good food, good ambiance, good whiskey/bourbon selection.
Very welcoming. Friendly staff and great service. The food caters to steak and seafood lovers. There's a bit for everyone. The prices are very reasonable as this comes off as being a high end restaurant.
When there is live music n the bar, the dining room music should be turned off. You can hear both and that's annoying. The music in the bar was good and could be heard in parts of the dining room.
Food was delicious! Service was wonderful. Only complaint, if you would call it a complaint is the timing of the food. We had barely started our salads and our main dish was brought to us. A personal preference, but it made the meal feel a little rushed. Definitely won't keep us from returning. Enjoyed the meal, and a wonderful date night dinner.
The restaurant closed for the day and didn't bother to notify anyone or answer the phone. I had to scramble at the last minute to find a place to take clients. Very unprofessional.
It was just OK not memorable whatsoever. I’ve eaten there for lunch on several occasions had their hot chicken dish, however tonight took the family there for dinner, it was just OK I was disappointed. In the future will try other places in Murphreesboro versus Peter D’s
