The main course and ordered drinks were excellent. We were given coupons for one class of wine, beer, or rail drink. My wife chose wine and it was non-drinkable. Just awful. Other than that, we would go again and not order any house wine.
Everything about this meal was wonderful. Excellent seafood, service, wine, ambience, side dishes, dessert.
Just fabulous as always.
My wife and I so enjoyed our lunch we returned a second time. Our waiter was interesting, knowledegable and made the meal enjoyable. The soup was delicious and my pasta was very good.
Pescara is consistently excellent across the board. The food and service are outstanding and the ambience is perfect for a special occasions. Amazing to see how consistent they have been since opening several years ago. This is my #1 recommendation for anyone visiting Rochester looking for an excellent restaurant.
A wonderful experience in the time of COVID. They were so warm and welcoming when we arrived. Service was great. Only four stars because I asked how the mussels were that day, were they large or small and was assured they were good size. Not. But taste was good. Husband loved the Seafood stew and calamari app was tasty.
Definitely recommend! Good food, service, and ambiance.
The food was exquisite and the service was perfect. We had a truly beautiful experience.
My friend and I enjoyed a very nice casual low-key dinner at Pescatrice the food was outstanding not overwhelming especially the oysters. Very good service overall we enjoyed ourselves thank you
Food was well prepared, seasoned well, and cooked appropriately. Not necessarily inspired but very good. Wine per glass was a little expensive for the offerings. Still overall very good.
Our servers Ashley was phenomenal. She went above and beyond. The food was fantastic. I will definitely be back
Awesome place. Great food and service. Good for special occasions.
Staff was having loud conversation near kitchen- Very distracting
Empty restaurant but yet after we were seated another couple was seated right next to us (Covid remember)
Disappointed with the halibut. Overcooked and not well prepared-why use any sauce with halibut? Just a nice thick portion with salt and pepper and prepared so the fish flakes with a fork. Not like that at all-we received a thin portion and cooked strangely in a sauce. Wine selection/recommendation also off.
Very nice place. The service was excellent and the food was amazing! The only downside is that it's a bit pricy, but it's well worth the money in my opinion!
Everything tasted perfect from soup to drinks to dessert
The food is excellent and the service is attentive but not overbearing. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Rochester. Prices are high, however.
We look forward to dinner at Pescara on our visits to Rochester. Whether its breakfast or dinner, the food and service puts our recommendation at “Top of Rochester..Best Dining Experience”. The menu has the best seafood and the kitchen knows how to prepare it...Bravo!
Fantastic service, romantic atmosphere and delicious food. Loved it. Simple understated ambience. The service was superior. I had the carmelized carrots and the write in special fish. Moist and succulent. My partner had the fillet, excellent!
Wonderful in every respect!!!
Great food but very expensive
Our waiter was amazing, food was delicious and fairly priced for fine dining. Would definitely recommend and will be back.
As always, consistent cuisine, ambience and service. Our favorite when in Rochester. Actually, one of the top places we've enjoyed from coast to coast.
Crab cake Benedict was amazing!! Service was great! Loved our server and our hostess Andria!
Will be back for the lobster omelette!!!
Incredible food,
Outstanding service!
Sad that Covid has affected their menu options!
Excellent food , atmosphere & service close to the Mayo Clinic.
We appreciated the pop to eat outside even though there was a lot of street noise. We 4 all ordered different main courses and we each loved what we ordered. Our waiter was very helpful to telling us about the individual items which helped us in our decision-making.
First visit to Pescara and it’s one of my all time favorite restaurant now! Amazing food and polite staff!
Very nice dinner with excellent food and courteous, attentive service.
Excellent food, impeccable service, beautiful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice relaxing evening out.
Everything was fantastic! My wife and I have our new favorite place to eat for special occasions.
Friendly staff, fabulous seafood. The walleye Piccata was fantastic. My husband thought the lobster bisque was the best he ever had.
Service was excellent and the food was wonderful. We will be back.
Value? $37 for one piece of fish (halibut).........everything else is ala carte. Service was excellent.
2 people in our party ordered their signature dish Scallops with crispy potatoes and mushroom sauce and the dish was so salty you could not eat it, we told one of our servers and the next thing we hear is the chef screaming in the kitchen, that is was not salty. The server didn’t say anything to us and gave us our bill including the 2 dishes we couldn’t eat and we paid and left.
The food was excellent!! We always have a wonderful, high quality meal here.
Returned for 2d time in 3 weeks. Outstanding food quality, preparation & service! My wife & I both enjoyed the pan seared walleye frizzed with a butter sauce. The portion was as long as the plate was wide and a good half inch thick (and flaky too). The salad with blue cheese dressing & bacon - Wow! Then we split a side of mushrooms - so good! The wine too is value priced for the quality. Definitely will return and likely will have one of the chef’s specials!
Once again we experienced wonderful service, delicious food, and a relaxing atmosphere. It is always a treat to dine here!
It took awhile for the waiter to show up, but when he did service was expeditious. Drinks should take 10 minutes. If the waiter is busy the manager, bus boy, or bartender should get them out.
Back at Pescara for the second time in one week ... returned for the Cream of Wild Mushroom Soup for one! Brought my mother, daughter and son-in-law since Pescara is operating SO responsible during this pandemic and I felt safe bringing an older person out to eat. In addition to the soup, I ordered the Insigna Scallops Entree ... my mind was blown away at all aspects of this dish. Definitely a must-try for foodie enthusiasts!
