Always enjoy a great meal and cocktails.
My salmon was cooked perfect, and sautéed mushrooms. The walleye Melanie was good.

The service was outstanding, and the fresh fish was cooked to perfection. We were a little worried at first because it was in the front lobby of a hotel, but once we walked in all fears vanished. Great value for the quality of the food, and will definitely return when in town again. Highly recommend if you like fresh fish.

We were in Rochester for a visit to Mayo. This is the second time we stopped in to Pescara. Both times were wonderful. Great, great service and food. I'd make this a "must eat at" if visiting Rochester.

Returned to Pescara as we do every year during our annual visit to Mayo Clinic. Never disappointed. Love the fresh seafood offerings, great small plates and creative salads. Green Apple & Amablue salad is a favorite. We really enjoyed fresh Halibut and the Cioppino as main dish. OUTSTANDING!!!

There is no music. I asked for a secluded table or booth and that was granted. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive. We shared a cup of lobster bisque and the apple amablue salad. They split the salad for us. They forgot to withhold an ingredient but cheerfully took it back and re-made the salad. My date had NY Strip and he was impressed by the flavor and tenderness although it was overdone. We were told the secret is that the beef is wet-aged. My date added an order of grilled jumbo shrimp. There were only 3 shrimp but they were quite large. I had grilled salmon with the lemon sauce. The fish had a subtle grill flavor and was moist and flaky. We were told all the fish portions were approximately 8 ounces. We split some lemon-parsley fingerling potatoes. They turned out to be the largest portion of food delivered to the table and they were delicious. The wine is expensive and the two glasses of red I ordered were just okay. We were too full for dessert.

Food and service were both excellent. It just took a little longer than expected for dinner for me and my son. But aside from the length of the meal, it was a wonderful dinner.

Wonderful fresh seafood prepared perfectly! Thoroughly enjoyed each item. I had few special needs to accommodate some dietary restrictions and was able to manipulate their menu with ease. Our waiter could not have been more hospitable and our service was excellent. I enjoy finding the best restaurants in every area we visit and even in our home town but we might just return to Pescara tomorrow because it was such a nice evening.

The Sunday Buffet was horrible. It just did not meet the high standards found at major hotels across the USA. The Buffet advertized smoked salmon with capers, red onions, tomatoes and eggs. There were no capers and no onions and not tomatoes. Just a few halves of hard boiled eggs.

The bacon was burnt. The scrambled eggs hard and cold. The cereal bar was akin to the cereal bar at cheap motels. For $18 one would expect much better.

Order off of the regular menu instead. Less expensive and much more satisfying.

Tasmanian trout (steelhead) was cooked to perfection and the beet risotto topped a couple pickled onions was new to me and a great pairing. Thumbs up and a real pleasure to be able to converse without shouting.

This was a return trip to Pescara. I found the food very good. The fresh fish was done well. The oysters were fresh, although not as well labeled or serves as in most places. The crab cake was also very good. I was seated in the last seat at the bar next to where the servers order and collect their drinks, so this negatively affected my experience and dining. I will return, but I will sit someplace else!

Once again a visit to town has a friends gathering for lunch. Pescara never fails. But the reservation system failed big time. Verbal over the phone said any reservation over 6 would require credit card to charge $25 per person if any no shows. Online limited me to 4 people. I had 12 coming and two extra showed up. This is also my 50th reservation??!! There are other lovely places to chose so take note.

Been to Pescara many times and both the food and service were subpar for brunch. On previous occasions the brunch food was the same as on the regular menu and this time a less expensive version was substituted. Service was terrible. Had to continually ask for coffee, restocking of buffet items.

The scallops and shrimp were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The crab cakes were very good and came with a house made mustard-like sauce that was god. Calamari seemed fresh but was salty and could have been better. Mushroom risotto was way too salty.

Loved the service. Our waiter was very sweet and accommodating. The ambience was great. The steak was cooked to my liking (a solid medium - beautiful pink with some red). My friend’s braised ribs were very tender. However everything needed some salt. We took our leftovers home - sprinkled them with some good old sea salt and instantly everything tasted better.
