   We were very disappointed in our appetizer. We have been ordering the pimento cheese hush puppies for several years. They are our reason for dining there. It was a heart break to know it had been changed. They’re definitely not the same.

   Beautiful waterfront view paired with a wonderful cuisine. We had the butter shrimp appetizer with the Ribeye as our main course. Our server was beyond exceptional with his knowledge of the menu and wonderful conversation.

   We ordered tuna tartare and got tuna soup. Definitely and truly disappointing. Your restaurant is on the water, all fish (wherever it comes from) should be spot on. Hopefully the kitchen has remedied this situation. The lemon poppy vinagriette was outstanding. The crabcake was good, not outstanding both my husband I enjoyed. Our waitress Riley was wonderful and attentive.

   We had an awesome waiter , Shelby! He was very attentive and friendly! The food was delish ! They have a new chef and he did not disappoint! Of course the outside view was spectacular on the water !

   The restaurant is so lovely as it sits near the water. The food was fabulous, the Chef knocked it out if the park. Both my husband and me took half home and it was delicious for lunch! The bartender made my husband a Bourbon drink he said was sooooo good., Orange is the new Black was the name. Lovely evening, strolled outside after dinner. We’ll be back Persimmons!

   3 locals recommended Persimmons to us. The server was very polite but not attentive. The food was slow coming out of the kitchen. The mahi and lump crap was warm but not well flavored. The fries with the fish and chips was cold. The waterfront view was great. We probably won’t be back.

    It was kind of noisy, maybe use more fabric to absorb noise. Screaming kids were difficult to tolerate., it seemed to echo.. Service was awesome and food was delicious. Great presentation!

    Lovely place . Only complaint is that the menu was different than what I saw online. Along with the water was all ice barely any water which sounds like a weird complaint but I had to get refilled about 5 times bc it was all gone in one sip

    We went for our Anniversary Dinner. Hutch our server was very prompt and courteous. One of our dishes did not look right. She immediately took away and brought back a new dish of scallop and crap pasta. It was beyond great. It did get a little loud sitting outside the bar area. We will definitely go back soon.

    First time visitors. Food and flavors were outstanding. We agreed that this was the best fancy meal we had enjoyed since our last visit to Charleston, SC. The salmon with peach glaze was especially notable. On the small steak & crabcake, my steak was overcooked (ordered Medium, but pink hadn't been seen in that middle for some time). Still, the crabcake was excellent, as were the potatoes. Overall, a delightful evening.

    service was terrible. The service person split a drink into our food when they were serving, and they had to remake 3 of our 4 dinners. no apology and no offer to help in any way. Nice place but needs new (better) management.

    There was a hair in my food. The hush puppies were burnt. Came home hungry. Paid 82.00 before tip...no bread, no salad... over priced. You pay for the atmosphere.

    Food was well prepared and displayed on the plate I dine There approximately every three weeks and wish they would change the menu items as it makes for boredom. The noise level at times are unbearable and realize that it cannot be helped under the present circumstances

    We were a little disappointed in the food. I had the fish & chips and it was ok. Wouldn’t order again. Other family members had the crab cake & fried green tomato and there was only one very small crab cake. Sorry to say, we were truly disappointed in the amount & quality of food.

    Valentines dinner was like a comedy show !We ate there many times and service is really never that great but we love the Brussels sprouts and green tomatoes .The food is always fair with wierd sides that are child size portion.Never no bread.So I’d say it’s just good not great .As for Valentines We order There Special and 2 appetizers Quail,filet mignon, dessert ,with 3 glasses of wine .Sounds wonderful being I wanted a filet .When our first course it was a mini quail the wing Im not kidding was one inch tiny and a leg to share.First joke !Wine 1 glass for 2 to share with no second glass it was only half ful anyway so we shared joke 2 ! We ask waitress to charge us extra to bring wine for my husband so we didn’t have to share wine .So sat the end We dared a mini quail ,steak w/one mini portion potatoes and dessert Price 85.00 they say for 2 ,Wine per person 30 each which is 60.00 for 3 1/2 full glasses and chocolate runny dessert looked ridiculous and Valentines Day Hilarious !So 145.00 we had our 2 sides thank God we ordered them!20.00 ,creme brûlée 10,3 extra glasses of wine 30 for my husband our bill was like 225.00 for a really bad Valentines .The creme burley was cold so thick vanilla pudding !We left both desserts so bad .It’s not an experience it comedy .Your floors are so slippery .I seen multiple women slip .Don’t wear hills !I’ll go back but not expect to many changes .

    The restaurant was clean and very comfortable, weekday reservations were not required as we were one of only 4 tables when we arrived. The service was excellent, staff was friendly and prompt. The food was missing ingredients listed on the menu both the crispy Brussels and the chicken and pork with pasta didn’t have any pork in them. When I asked about this omission I was assured they were not out of the pork, and was given a desert on the house (it was excellent). Overall the experience was good. I will try this establishment again.

    Renee was wonderful in taking care of getting the seat I wanted for privacy. Our waitress was perfect--not hovering over us, but checking often enough. I tipped her the max. Wish I remember her name--sweet face, sweet attitude. My friend had lost her son--this was a wonderful distraction for her. She wisely chose Persimmons!
