We went to Perry’s for dinner on Valentine’s Day. They had a special menu for the day, including specialty cocktails. We split the heart roll (I assume that’s only available on vday) and then got a total of 5 sushi rolls as our meal and each one was incredible. Super fresh and delicious all the way around. I already can’t wait to come back!

For some reason with plenty of tables available and a reservation my guest and I were put on a couch with a coffee table to eat at. It was ridiculous and I will never go back here. Waited 20 minutes on the check because the female bartender was too busy flirting with a guy on the bar stool.

Perry's is my favorite restaurant. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is great. The Element sushi is my favorite dish, but everything I've ever ordered here is great. I really have no negatives.

Overall I had a great experience, the sushi was fresh and great presentation. The service was good, it could been better. I wish my server would of cleaned my table more and didn’t take so long but other than that it was good.

The sushi and Tapas we had were good. The cocktails were ok. It was a fun night in any case, and I would go back, but I didn't have that "Dinner was amazing" feeling. It's usually buzzing all year round so it's possible that being New Year's Eve, it was just an off day for me.

Thank you for the great service, adding one dish and one dessert for my friend, who just celebrated his birthday. Their service was very attentive. I am grateful for the service.
However, I had to confirm my suspicion this time for sure. Perry's had been a great gem as a place for authentic Japanese food. I am Japanese, and was very pleased with the food they used to serve. This was my second time after they changed the menu, and I was very sad that the variety was gone. I see an obvious decline of customers last time (maybe it was a Sunday night?). For example, you cannot serve a deep fried Japanese shiso along with sashimi, because sashimi is raw fish!! Hot dish should be served as hot, while cold dish like sashimi should be served as cold. I am not a chef in any way, but it is a basic principle of Japanese food. There will be a biggest Japanese education conference (with Asian studies) this coming March. I was planning to book a table for the occasion at Perry's. But with the current menu, there is no way for me to invite my important Japanese friends and colleagues. I strongly believe that Perry's was the best in DC. I am really hoping that they will go back to the previous menu with previous Japanese chefs.

We had an aaaaamazing dinner! Everything tasted so good. My favorite "compliments of the chef" were mouth-melting toro (fatty tuna) and juicy clams! We were celebrating a very special occasion with a large group of people, and the owner and the chef made us feel so welcome and at home that we had a wonderful time! I lived in the DC area for 12 years and saw many sushi places come and go, but Perry's has been around for so long, and you know why. One of my most favorite sushi places in the greater Washington DC area!!

Went for dinner on a Saturday night. Very classy place. Nice ambiance inside where we ate, but the rooftop was especially great. We just had an after dinner cocktail there but in warmer weather that would be the place to be. Food was good. Not the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had, but solid. Reasonable prices for DC. Would go back.

Welcoming environment. Wonderful sushi and kebabs. Great roof top patio experience in late October, including very comfortable chairs, white table coverings and a festive atmosphere.
