The food was good but I feel like you could get the same quality in another restaurant with a lower price. I think your just paying more for the atmosphere and rooftop seating of the restaurant. I would definitely come back because it was a really nice place to eat!

I was very amazed at the service and food during my visit here. I planned a surprise engagement with my fiancee and the entire Perrys staff were so sweet and amazing. As always the sushi was amazing. They had a great setup on the rooftop to be compliant with social distancing as well as deal with the thunderstorm. It was so nice to see that every member of their staff was very conscientious of the proper procedures for dealing with service during COVID-19.

We absolutely LOVE Perry's. My dad used to be a regular customer in the late 80's. Now, I am his age and I brought him back 30 years later, with my mother. We love the food and quality, and atmosphere, always. It cannot be beat! THANK YOU!

We made reservations for the rooftop, but there was a huge storm that rolled through. So they seated us inside until the storm passed, then they were able to move us upstairs. It is such a nice spot! Delicious sushi and great service!

Always an outstanding experience from A to Z. Warm service, lovely ambiance on the roof, and most importantly, excellent Japanese food. Sashimi was spectacular. And the menu is full of innovative items. Highly recommend.

It was a bit awkward getting into the restaurant no one greeted us when we walked inside and we had no idea where to go. The sushi chef pointed us into the right direction. There are very steep stairs to climb to get to the roof. We had the sushi for 2 it was a big portion all was very tasty! Amazing value for what you get. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back.

Finally had a chance to go to Perry's in DC and experience their rooftop restaurant. I went this past Sunday night as outdoor is now open in DC during Phase 1. There were maybe only about 8 tables with social distancing in place which was great to see. The food was amazing. We had a platter of sushi, sashimi and sushi rolls (california roll and spicy tuna roll) to share which was enough for 2 people. The ambiance was superb and the staff was great. Was truly impressed how they kept cleanliness, social distancing and no-covid worries. Can't wait to go back again to enjoy a different dish. I normally do take-out there but eating inside is truly amazing. To experience it you have to make a reservation via opentable and normally the earliest you can get a reservation for now is 24 hours prior, not the same day.

My fiancé and I LOVE Perry’s. It is our go to spot. The service is excellent if you like sitting at the bar, as we do. The sushi is good, though certainly not the best in the city, but if you’re not looking to drop a huge amount for a top end dinner, it’s probably the best in the city. Sitting at the roof bar (or roof seating area) is definitely the way to go. The inside is rather dark, while the roof is amazing: pleasantly decorated with great views.

Perry's roof is perfectly spaced for your social distance hang. Drinks and food come out in a timely manner so you're able to enjoy your conversation with your friends without feeling like you're being rushed out for the next seating.

We ate on the rooftop just a couple of days after they were allowed to start seating people outdoors. It was our first meal out in a restaurant in months. It was my son's birthday, and sushi is his favorite food, so this was perfect. FOOD: The food was exceptional! Everything we were served was fresh and delicious. SERVICE: The service was friendly, competent, and highly conducive to an enjoyable time. AMBIENCE: The rooftop was lovely with nice views of Adams Morgan. All in all, a wonderful time with great food and excellent service.

We dined at Perry's on their first evening being reopened after Covid-19 closed down all the restaurants for diners and it was wonderful. It was a perfect evening on their roof deck, the staff was professional and courteous, and the food was amazing. And they were going out of their way to ensure that everything was being done to ensure the most sanitary conditions in such a way that the customers felt reassured. We will definitely be going back soon.

We were visiting DC and friends recommended Perry’s. We arrived for their happy hour which was a pleasant surprise. We were going to eat dinner but just hung out at the bar and ate off of the bar menu. Everything was fresh and yummy. Our bartender Devon(?) was great. Personable, funny and made some very interesting cocktails. Loved his creativity and honesty. If he didn’t know about a whiskey he told us so. Didn’t give the place 5 stars as we didn’t really eat dinner. We would go back. Also the device was very good
