Chefs Thomas Park and Shigehisa Yokote head up the kitchen and sushi bar respectively. Together they offer a wealth of knowledge and skill in the fine art of traditional Japanese cuisine.
This is one of my go to restaurants in Adams Morgan. The food is delicious and the service is always amazing. I will definitely keep coming back!
Small portions with big price tags. They sat us near a window and we were freezing! The fish was good, but full of bones and there was hardly any meat on it.
Amazing food, good value, service was perfect.
Perry's staff and food are what keep me coming back and introducing the venue to new people. Justin (GM) is top-notch!
Amazing food but poor service. The server kept hurrying us to go through our courses, and wasnt attentive at all to our table. Excellent menu for restaurant week!
The place was great and the food was amazing. I think the music was too loud, since we had a hard time hearing what each other said at times. Nice staff.
The sushi was great our favorite was the Pheonix, Crunchy Tiger and Fire Cracker.
super cool spot, couches and very loungey atmosphere, pork belly skewers, and mushroom fried rice was great. skip the mochii
Very warm and attentive service. Delicious food.
I have been looking for good sushi in the DC metro area for a while and this seems to be a staple- so I was happy to try it. The sushi was great, really fresh and buttery fish. Yum. Service was okay but they did try to make up for it (we didn't actually express any dissatisfaction) with some free sake which was appreciated. Overall, really solid sushi spot.
Short, but well thought wine list. Excellent quality sushi and sashimi, really fresh. Friendly and efficient service. Highly recommend.
Had the ramen and it rivals anywhere else
In DC. Great food- old
Prices. Sushi looked and taste great.
Our daughter was craving Japanese food and Perry’s delivered — and then some. Agedashi dofu was fantastic. “Best miso soup ever,” from all. Gyoza, Chesapeake sushi — all so good. It was a bit cool for the roof-top dining, so we sat at the couches by the windows. Perfect start to our trip to DC.
For a Birthday you give you the mega sparkler. Very cool.
Came here for rooftop bar. Food was subpar. Ambience was lacking. Plastic chairs. It was all cheap-ish.
I’ve been here dozens of times. The service was great and always is.
Roof top patio really needs work and the server we had was not welcoming, very dry!
Service was awful on Thursday the 30th for dinner. Terrible woman at the front on the roof. Waitress was also poor.
Food was tasty and the roofdeck setting was pleasant but it took over an hour to get our order of sushi... That's a long time to wait for dinner even at a neighborhood restaurant we consider a favorite.
Stylishly presented and tasty Japanese. Loved the great cocktail list and all served on the fabulous rooftop dining area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our rooftop cocktails and dinner -- the pour was generous, the food both interesting and delicious, and the service very accommodating.
Fun restaurant week outing. The food was good and an excellent Restaurant Week deal. Service was a little “iffy.” Our server was very nice but coy, don’t answer questions about the menu.
Good service and nice rooftop but poor quality of seafood
Great all around experience. Hospitality team accommodated a group of 10 on a Saturday...no easy feat. Arrived early for a cocktail on the deck and had a great meal. Wait staff was great.
Great service and great food, perfect evening for a rooftop meal
Had a great waitor who was training to be a somolier.
Great restaurants, badly made cocktails. The worst gin and tonics I ever had! The worst sangria !
Nice ambience great sushi
Open table allows you to specify your dining preference when you create your reservation, so I specified "rooftop terrace" for my 7:30 reservation for a party of two. When we arrived, they asked if we had a reservation and I told them we did. We were told that despite my reservation and specific request, in order to be seated on the terrace we would be put on a separate list behind 6 other parties and the wait would be 45 minutes. We were told to go up to the rooftop to speak to the hostess there - we were not escorted up there and it is quite confusing layout. Again, the hostess on the roof asked if we had a reservation, which they had on screen, only to then say that they would text when a table was ready. At this point I really wonder what the point of making a reservation on open table is, what the point of talking to the first hostess is, just show up 45 minutes before you want to eat and get on the waiting list on the roof. I will caution people that there is one particular bartender who is sour and makes it known he does not want to be there or help you with anything. We were actually comped a drink when we asked to switch bartenders because he was about to ruin our night. The other bartender and the rest of the staff are extremely polite and friendly.
Beautiful outdoor dining experience with great food and very mediocre service (that didn’t detract too much from the meal)
Went for a birthday. Sat on rooftop. It was a really nice spot
Staff was very friendly. Wait time for roof top table was about 30 minutes with reservation. Server check on the us frequently. A little tight between tables, but wasn't a big distraction during date.
It was my girls birthday and the staff made it perfect! They went above and beyond and the food was exceptional! A+++++ wonderful!!! The hosts helped us get a table fast and the Raul made a drink and named it after my girl. The birthday cake was hidden and a total surprise. Just amazing. I was there in July 13
Our server took excellent care of us on the beautiful rooftop. He even brought a birthday dessert, which was extra appreciated. My friend and I had a stellar experience and will definitely return.
Our family celebrated our son 25th year birthday at Perry's rooftop. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The service was nice. The rooftop has a very pleasant ambiance. I would highly recommend the place.
Sad we didn’t get to dine on the rooftop because of the weather, but enjoyed the ambiance and the sushi with friends! Wish it was slightly quieter as it was fairly loud when we were there and one of the girls had a migraine so that was subpar for her, but other than that it was a good experience :)
The staff was particularly cool and you couldn't beat the roof scene. The price was a little high but that is expected in DC. I really enjoyed myself and will definitely go back. They had a godo HH deal.
My favorite place in dc for years
Perry's is clearly the place to dine on a nice summer evening. The menu is varied, the food is excellent, the waiters are friendly and knowledgeable and the roof-top terrasse is by far one of the best in town.
