Fun, casual, noisy atmosphere. Good solid food--had salmon with pesto and loved it. TV's in every room in case you want to watch your favorite team play. Definitely recommend.
So consistent, great service and true value! Best option for home cooking and fun ambiance for local sports watching. You feel like part of the Perry’s family when you sit down for dinner. It’s my favorite spot for casual neighborhood dining.
Perry’s always great. Good food coupled with excellent service and ambiance. Always crowded and noisy. Food always reliable and very good. We had a simple dinner. My wife had a burger while I had tomato bisque plus a turkey club. Go to Perry’s if you are in San francisco
Great neighborhood restaurant. Busy but attentive waiters, good comfort food. Took my 5 year old
grandson and it worked out perfectly. I go there often. Have celebrated many birthdays there.
I have eaten at this restaurant many times when in San Francisco visiting family. Service has always been a bit spotty depending on the time of day visiting, but on our recent visit we were seated in the back, our waitress was terrible and the room we were in was terribly loud. While I can excuse a waitress on a busy night, our waitress didn't have a clue. She appeared to be more a hostess not a waitress. The food is nearly always good, but for the price, it was not worth the wait or aggravation...
always a great pitstop...great service and great food...been doing this for 50 years...that should tell you enough!!...thanks Perry's
Great place for quick lunch or dinner......great fun
Great service good food
The corned beef hash was terrible. The corned beef tasted like it came from can that had been sitting on a shelf for a very long time, then taken out and cut into metallic-tasting cubes.
If Cheers was a actual place.. Perry’s would be it! Love this place! Great food and wine
We hadn't been here in some years and were delighted to find really great food and service. The menu is so varied there is surely something for every taste. Had lamb shank and Pertale. Very good....oh and the brownie was outstanding. Can't wait to return.
I would not recommend this place. We went there on a Sunday mid morning. We had to wait for the waitress to take our order. We were seated in the bright room that looked like an atrium. We liked the location but it might have added to having lousy service. I noticed that other tables were being served before us even though we had ordered first. I finally got fed up and went to look for the waitress. She did respond and went to the kitchen to see what the problem was. She came with the food and said a new food server had been hired.
This place is not nearly as nice as the Perry's on the Embercadero. The food was so so.
A true San Francisco restaurant where you will find local San Franciscans frequently choose to have lunch.
The Saturday chef seemed to be off a bit. I eat there once a week, it's my first disappointment :(
I work for Hotel E in Santa Rosa CA, and for the 2nd phase of our property we are gonna have a Perry’s from San Francisco by next year. I didn’t wanna wait till next year to try it so I was like why not. Good food can’t wait to see it next year in Santa Rosa
Clam chowder soup I ordered was cold, when asked if they could change they microwaved it and sent it out again.
Chopped salad was not as good as usual: less ingredients and watered-down dressing.
As it has been from my first visit in the mid-seventies marvelous attention to detail, congenital attitude and food prepared with quality at the forefront. Born and raised in Hollywood CA, I spent a great deal of time in San Francisco for work and food fun!!!
Fortunately Perry was there so I could say hello and chat a bit. His staff is attentive and delivered our well-prepared meals with courteous professionalism.
Thank you Perry with many more successful ahead.
Very truly yours,
Loved it! Had a great time and had delicious burgers!
We ate brunch at Perry's and the food was delicious. Our server was very good and attentive. The place was pretty empty when we got there about 9:30 am, but it picked up after a while. Would like the potatoes that came with my Eggs Benedict to have been cut smaller and browned better. Aside from that, I have no complaints. Yum.
It is always great!
Went for brunch and hard a toddler with us. Food was excellent and the staff was helpful. Loved it!
server was not at all attentive - very very louder table that made enough noise for the entire restaurant - food was just okay
Great waiter. Food almost always consistently good. We had a most enjoyable time!
The Ahi Poke was OK but not as good as usual. The service was superb!
We had a blast celebrating Perry’s 50th anniversary; the whole place was one big party. The staff was fantastic! The staff kept fantastic attitudes and the food was just as good as it was on a normal day. Perry is run & staffed by true professionals at all times. A San Francisco classic institution!
We love perrys!
It was great
Lots of options on the menu. And August all bottles of wine are 50% off!
Amazing spot for a big group specially with kids. We had a table at the patio and it was amazing! Very fun spot and good food.
One of our neighborhood gems! Love it!
Ahi tuna excellent as usual. Best value in town. New maitre'd and waitress, both friendly, good sense of humor and knowledgeable about the menu. 1/2 price wine for August - thank you Perry! We enjoyed the birthday party immensely!
Our go-to neighborhood place. Consistently good food, excellent and friendly service, fair prices, and a nice ambiance.
A great place to go with a large group of people. One can actually hear one’s table mates talking!
A consistently great spot for any meal with friends.
They threw four of us into a tiny spot with a tiny bistro table and we could barely put all four plates on it. We were shoved in a corner where my head hit the rail every time I tilted my head back a tiny bit. Not sure I would ever go back, not like it used to be.
We were celebrating two birthdays and brought our own cupcakes. They were super sneaky and awesome and surprised the girls with candles and everything. Very good evening!
WE had waiter Dave who could not have been more helpful to us in our menu selection. He was attentive without being overbearing...a very pleasant young man. The food was fresh, salad lettuce crisp, etc. We really enjoyed our experience.
i usually get the chopped salad, I tried south west chicken...Chicken was not cooked through and very few beans.
