Food is always good & price is affordable! Loved the new special of salmon, shrimp, & veggies on skewers with rice & mixed greens. Would really like to have the chicken enchilada dinner back on other days, & not just offered on Sunday. From a regular customer in the neighborhood. Thanks!
My jam. Great spot!
Asked to sit in front. Requested when we made the reservation. New hostess. She put us on the patio surrounded by a group of 12 noisy women. Very unpleasant. We left without finishing our meal
The staff was very friendly and seated us immediately. The food portions were generous and there was a wide selection at the bar. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. A very good experience, I would definitely go back!
One of our party brought wine for a tasting. Our server was on it - bucket of ice for the white, extra wine glasses, opened both bottles, poured, perfect. Our food was perfect. Had a great time
Good food with energetic atmosphere. Great server.
However, we accidentally left our credit card at the restaurant. When we returned the next day to pick it up we waited a long time and the hostess was unnecessarily rude and sarcastic.
We loved our table by the window. Our group of four ordered only small dishes but we were treated very well. Our waiter was prompt and pleasant. We even got potato skins at the Happy Hour price! Can't wait to go back.
The service was excellent when my friend and I had lunch. It could not have been better.
Hostess was condescending and rude. Waitress was superlative, gracious and energetic!
It just didn’t feel very special. We were shoved in a corner of an back room full of parents and their babies. I have 3 kids who are now 6, 12 and 14 so I get it, but it just wasn’t a good experience.
We loved eating st Perry’s! The food was terrific and the service was even better. Fun, neighborhood atmosphere with a friendly vibe. Our table enjoyed the French onion soup, the salmon, the Caesar salad, the Perry burger and the nac and cheese. Will definitely come back next time we are in town! Thank you Perry and team!
Amazing... I will be back. The food was amazing and the weather to sit outside made it a great day!
Went for w weekday brunch with friends and had a great time. The service was very good, especially as we had one person in our party who was running late. Our server was patient and when our third person arrived, we ordered and our meals came quickly. The eggs Benedict was fabulous, as were the Bagel and smoked salmon. We also tried that Perry’s breakfast sandwich. A good time was had by all. Perry’s is a mainstay in the Marina that we hope never changes!
Food is always terrific and service is well-honed and professional. A Union Street institution for years and a locals favorite. And with half-price wine on Monday, the combination is winning.
The meal and service were great. Great casual spot to enjoy a drink and quick bite.
I had never visited but had heard about this long standing San Francisco icon for years.
I could not have been more pleased. There were 4 of us and everyone said the same, the food was delicious, abundant and we’d all return.
The service could have used some fine tuning but she was pleasant and followed up with the cliches.
Everything was great
Enjoyed a reunion with friends at Perry's for lunch.Everything was delicious, great service, and reasonable.
Good food, ambiance and wine. Great waitress (Emily)!
Cold poached uncooked eggs for the Benedict and cold French onion soup that tasted terrible. What happened to this place? It used to be good!
Went there on Valentines day- food was terrible, as was the service. Yes I expect this to be the standard for Valentines day in general, but the was hoping Perry's would rise above given that normally they have good food.
Always reliable and crowded. Food is always good albeit a bit potato heavy. Skimpy Bloody Mary but yummy eggs Benedict.
Good food and great service. Nice place for lunch with friends.
Great spot for people watching. Awesome for your pup to enjoy seating outside.
Perry’s food and service is consistently excellent. Sayed the server is friendly and very helpful. Thank you!
Worst waitress ever. She hurried us (I had made a reservation so it wasn’t like she was doing us a favor). Then, toward the end of our meal, she asked us to move to a different table so she could seat friends together. I’ve been to Perry’s many times over the years and this was a first for us. She was not well trained and really, you could have pulled someone off the street who would have had better manners. This person was so unlike the waiters we’ve had over the years - she was in our faces a lot trying to speed us through our meal. Just horrible...
One of our favorite neighborhood spots. We always make reservations for the high tops near the bar so we can see the TVs and the staff there always is so accommodating. Great food and great service.
If you don’t know. Now you know.
I mentioned it was my husbands birthday during the reservation process. But when we finished eating our server asked if we were done with our plates and brought a check without asking if we wanted dessert. Not only that but he never checked on us during the meal to see if we wanted more water or soda. When we paid cash, he brought the wrong change. When I mentioned this to him, his excuse was "its been a long day"
It’s always great here
The service was very slow and without an apology for showing up at our table for the first time after we had been seated 10+ minutes. It didn't improve much from there. Portions are large, but not very tasty. It's probably okay for a burger, but there are much better options nearby..
We had the perry burger med. rare done to perfection. Also the Reuben sanwichwich which was great along with the home made chips and French fries. Also the fried calamari which was just a bit chewy, but still delicious. No complaints. Service was very good. Always enjoy coming here. Great atmosphere.
The food was fine, but two out of 5 of us had to wait forever for their food. We found out later that the wait staff had given their food to another table by mistake, and they had to start our order from scratch. Then, after we finished, they left us sitting there forever without ever bringing a check--or even asking if we wanted anything else. But then, after we tracked the server down, she told us the meal was free, because two of the orders came to the table so egregiously late. They could have just given us the two orders they screwed up for free, or offered us free dessert, but this was even better. And that's really good customer relations. I would go back.
Been stopping here when in San Francisco since the 80's. Never disappoints. Proposed to my Wife here 25 years ago.
Christmas Eve dude
It was great!
We were first to be seated , and last to have our order taken. Frustrating! Food was enjoyed, but did not appreciate the service for this reason.
We were happy we chose to have breakfast here the other morning. Huge portion, great food, reasonable price and nice people. Always love the ambiance here. A real neighborhood gem.
A great staple and a solid option for a couple or small group. Food is decent and portions are generous. However- menu lacks creativity.
