   I think this place is more about bar food than a dinner place, menu is extensive but I was not impressed at all with the food. Service was great and the place is clearly a local bar but would not recommend as a restaurant.

   Good food dependable pleasant atmosphere and we loved our wait person Emily, excellent service! Great wine selection too! And we got the table we prefer as well, can't beat afternoon lunch at Perrys Union Street, thanks Suzanne Farrell

   My daughter and I have been going to Perry’s since she was a little girl attending St.Vincent de Paul. So, we decided to spend Mother’s Day at Perry’s this year. We had a great table for two in the window, food and service as always, is fun and very good. Plus, it’s nice to cater to a San Francisco staple. It helps to know that Perry is such a nice person too. I have great memories of him from back in the day! A great place for a lady to have brunch, lunch or dinner alone as well. We love Perry’s on Union Street! Thank you!

   Perry’s is San Francisco! Founded in 1969 as an homage to New York City pubs, this place is still buzzing on Union Street. Since the the pandemic Perry’s invested in an abundance of sidewalk & parklet outdoor seating. For indoor or outdoor dining, the food & beverages still stand the test of time. I highly recommend Perry’s!

   Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Perry’s on Union St. yesterday with two family members who had never been there & had asked me to suggest a favorite restaurant. They loved it, and so do I! The food, excellent service & ambiance have brought me & my immediate family back to Perry’s for the past 40 years. Perry Butler has done a fine job of running his restaurant for over 50 years!!!

    We had a lovely birthday dinner with great food and service. Only problem was the large table right beside us who were unbelievably loud but this wasn't Perry's fault. If you want to have a quiet conversation we'd advise booking after 8 pm.

    Disappointing. Not what it used to be. Bland food, slow inattentive service. Wine was warm and served in a dirty glass. Probably our last time at Perry’s, lots of better options nearby.

    Perry's is a special place for us as we met there 49 years ago on St. Patrick's Day! We were there to celebrate our meeting and wedding anniversary date on Friday. Service was exceptional and the crowd was vibrant. Loved every minute!!

    I have been to Perry's in Novato, SF and Larkspur and the food, service and atmosphere is always wonderful. I like the wide range of choices in food, the staff are always friendly and energetic as is the atmosphere. I can always count on having a great experience!

    This restaurant has been here forever and I'm so glad it has survived all of the ups and downs of the times. It is now definitely a neighborhood restaurant. Super casual. Lights are pretty bright. Cute colorful tablecloths. Great waiter. Dinner menu has everything from Reuben sandwiches to spaghetti and meatballs to pot roast and mashed potatoes. Enjoyed a relaxing after work early dinner with my daughter who lives close-by. Loved the casual and inviting ambiance. Busy with locals, young and old. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend for casual friendly dining. Not a particularly romantic spot so keep that in mind if that is what you are looking for but great for a family dinner or dinner with friends who don't want to mortgage the house to pay for a good meal in a cozy casual setting. perfect for a really rainy night.

    The two of us lunched on a Sunday afternoon in the small area to the rear of the bar. The restaurant was busy, friendly and inviting. I had the salami chopped salad and my friend had a brunch-inspired breakfast sandwich. Prices were typical of SF restos and we enjoyed our meals. The wines-by-the-glass menu offers a nice variety of selections. I opted for the Ridge zinfandel, which is about mid-range, and wasn't disappointed. I've never had a poor experience at any of the Perry's restaurants, but Union Street remains my favorite. A special call-out to the staff for making the experience special.

    Table of five was ready upon arrival. We sat in back room which was perfect, less noisy than bar front area. Everyone cleaned their plates. Onion soup was superb. My steak was enough for two so I shared bites with my guests. Recommend serving steak with condiments (A1, mustard). I loved the fresh slaw and sinfully rich creamed spinach. So nice to see Perry’s keeps menu uniform over the years. Friendly service . Bartender made fresh lemonade with agave syrup on the side to sweeten it.

    Our brunch was awesome! We reserved a table, but ended up sitting at the bar since a few seats were open. Our bartender was awesome. Made conversation the entire time, had the perfect recommendations, and we felt right at home. I will come back anytime I’m in San Fran

    Mediocre at best. Halibut overcooked and the batter on the special fish and chips was soggy.

    Friendly, locals hang out. Staff knew just about everyone that walked in. Nice place outta the tourist center. Great food, great drinks and amazing service. I would definitely be a regular if I lived nearby.

    Hi, I have been going to Perry's for 50 years and plan on continuing, however, the quality of food on this visit was absolutely terrible and the dishes were filthy and greasy. Hope you guys get it together.
