Go to Perry’s all the time. Ordered a prime ribeye at a cost of $70. It was clearly not a prime cut. Very tough and chewy. Took a long time for the he steaks to come out…very slow food service…not sure what the problem was. Could not eat the steak…which is a first for me. Told wait staff it was a bad steak. They said they would cook me another but we had already been there for over an hour and had waited 40 minutes for our steak. They took the steak off my tab but that’s all they did. I left hungry and disappointed. Don’t think I’ll go back.

This is our go-to spot and this last experience may have changed that. Dinner and service were fine, not the best we’ve had there, but not a real issue. We ordered crime brûlée for dessert and the topping came out rubbery and horrible tasting after 1 bite, so we requested a replacement. It came out exactly the same and after 1 bite asked it to be taken away. We were told by the manager that it was supposed to be this way, which was an insult to our intelligence.

Cocktails were excellent, we had several. We ordered the pork chop bites, beef & blue, spinach & artichoke dip. All we’re delicious! We had excellent service from Brandy. She was attentive & very customer service oriented! Next time we pass through in Birmingham, Perry’s will be our go to!

Our meal was excellent from beginning to end. Our party of 5 all ordered from the Senior Menu; our drinks were brought promptly and were perfect, our food was cooked to order and was delicious, and our server could not have been better, unobtrusive, but there when needed. Our group was aged 66 through 77, and we were all happy with our Perry’s experience. Oh, the gin martinis were divine!

Our food was fantastic. However, our service was horrible. Our waiter was very friendly but that didn’t make up for the lack of service. Our sides did not get delivered at the same time as our steaks. When they were served, one of the sides was not what we ordered. We had almost finished eating before the other side was brought to table. We were left with no water through most of our meal.

First time at Perry’s, David the water was excellent. Glasses never got below half full. Did excellent job on suggestions & service. Steaks were over the top and the Pork Chop was outstanding! Deserts were incredible. We will come back!

Our visit was on a very busy weeknight and resulted in a very long dinner experience... so long that we were offered free dessert to compensate. Our appetizer was just warm, not hot. We were at a substandard table in the very middle of the very loud restaurant. If you want a real table with a tablecloth, you better ask for one. We had a wood finish table and by the end our dessert spoons were set down by the server in the midst of our breadcrumbs and some stray corn kernels. The table should have been cleaned off before dessert. Our server and the assistant manager who visited our table were apologetic for the wait and the cold food but I just don't see the food being worth the trouble and the wait not to mention the high prices.
