Perry's on Magnolia
Perry’s is known today, as much as ever, for its classic American food, its warm personable service and its fun, bustling bar. Perry’s traditional yet innovative menu includes a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, pastas, steaks and grilled fresh fish.
Lunch: Monday - Friday: 11:00am - 4:00pm
Dinner: Sunday - Wednesday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm, Thursday - Saturday: 4:00pm - 11:00pm
BBQ ribs were terrific - huge portion even shared (could probably be split 4 Ways!). And Grilled Artichoke was perfect complement with lite smoky taste and soft heart. Lovely outdoor patio, perfect for early Summer evening. A gem!
Perry’s is a classic and I’m so glad that they have come back to Marin County!
Perry's Union St in Marin.
Great location, easy lot parking if you're lucky (no problem on the street), staff is always friendly, food and drinks are the best; can't go wrong with Perry's Larkspur.
Food has gotten worse . Over cooked under seasoned... has head chef changed?
Love this place under the redwoods. Feels like you're a million miles away from SF. In particular, the waitstaff is excellent & very attentive. The food was wonderful too!
The salmon was absolutely delicious. Catching up with old friends in the side room was perfect - not too noisy. Service was excellent.
Always very nice. Excellent range of food. Half-price bottles of wine on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Great restaurant for conversation and fun. We had an outdoor table surrounded by trees overlooking Larkspur Creek, the catbird seat in the corner.
Perry’s has been my “go to”place since it’s opening on Union Street in 1967....and now that it’s in Marin, where I live now, it’s still one of my favorites
Great neighborhood spot. Food, drink and service are always reliably good. Nothing fancy, but great venue with big skylight and plenty of outdoor seating. A much better option than anywhere else in downtown Larkspur.
This is a great place for any occasion. The ambiance is just superb. Good is wonderful and service is great. This is must place to go.
I love Perry's! I've been to both locations in SF and the one in Marin and have usually had a great experience, but not so much this last time. The server was very friendly and prompt, but that was the best part of the experience. There were fruit flies all over the place, we were stuck at this small table (in an empty room) right by the kitchen. The other staff was loud and intrusive, practically screaming and running down the corridor. At one point one gal stuck her head over the partition (by the big screen and register), not realizing we were there, and was waving her hands. The food was not great, I had to return my salad and hamburger patty. My friend then said, 'now I remember why I don't come here'. I felt very bad for suggesting it. Disappointing.
We love Perry's for lunch or dinner! They have a beautiful outdoor patio alongside the creek, which is do friendly. Staff has always been great and the food is always very good. When we want good comfort food, we go to Perry's!!
Very polite and professional staff - very good food offering.
Music way too loud. And I’m not “old”!
Fantastic attentive waiter, food very good- great ambiance outside
Love Perry’s. It’s a Bay Area institution. Good food, great ambience, friendly staff and great service.
the service is great and the outside patio is fabulous, but the food is only meh: bland ahi poke, cold fries, overcooked fish. probably safe if you go with the burger etc.
First off the service from start to finish was wonderful. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating and made you feel very welcome. The food was straight forward and delicious. Just a great place to grab food and drinks with family or friends. Thanks Perry's staff!!
Lovely evening dining under the Redwoods. I highly recommend this outside area - it is spectacular. Dining indoors is very noisy - so even with the good food we probably would only go there for patio dining or the special area in front under the redwoods.
Menu and food is great. The waitperson was quite nice but unfortunately was not very present and getting their attention was a challenge. I would however definitley go back
Perrys is the best, love the food, atmosphere and vibe!
We love Perry's and love to see Perry there every now and again. We eat at Perry's at least once a week and it's a great value and wonderful local place to go. The female manger should smile and act like she likes her job. She never smiles, never says thank you for coming, she never recognizes you even though she sees us ever week and she looks crabby!!!! Please change. Thank you so much, Jinnie & John
Reliably good. Service is solid bordering on great (depending on who your server is for the great). The food is good and they are friendly about subsitutions if you don’t like the sides that come with your entree. I’ve never had a bad meal here and I look forward to returning.
Always great! Our waiter was fantastic.
Great food, very cool spot in the redwoods and alot of fun.
Cant imagine a more fun place.
Perry's is a great place for all occasions. Always fun!!! great food and service.. Love the outdoor seating.
Great food and great service. I enjoyed the ambiance and a chance to eat dinner in Larkspur. I remember this place being the old Larkspur Inn and now it transitioned into an attractive local eatery. Next time I would like to sit outside, weather permitting.
Go here all of the time and absolutely love it!
This latest reincarnation of this lovely space takes it in another direction but for lunch on a beautiful day, it remains a special place. I was married here many years ago so I miss the romantic charm it had then. The enlarged bar in the main room makes it more of a sports bar but sitting outside on a gorgeous day under the redwood trees still makes it a lovely destination for lunch. The menu is more all family than in the past but our salads were fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be back.
Great evening with family reunion at Perry’s. Great intelligent service knowledgeable about menu and great best choice recommendations. Fine with corkage for my two bottles of Hall wine. Table was perfect booth and ready upon arrival.
Hamburger was great, come for Tuesday special, the value is also great
This is a beautiful space. Sadly the food is an afterthought. One of our party had the Chicken BLTA, the chicken was so over cooked and dried out that it was tasteless. The spaghetti and meatballs entree had a watery tomato marinara because the the pasta was over cooked and improperly drained. The meatballs were lumps of ground beef with little seasoning. The half price wine special that is available on Monday and Wednesday is a great deal. The wine list is smallish but well thought out.
I would suggest going here for drinks and or wine then moving down the street about 150 yards to Pico Pizzeria or the very good Pico Restaurant.
This was a special dinner bringing three good friends together. We all enjoyed our dinner which was delicious and plentiful.
The service was excellent. Our server was gracious and patient giving us time to decide our selections while excitedly conversing after a long time of not seeing each other. All staff were great. And we were able to visit in a space that was not noisy.
I always enjoy my time at Perry’s.
We were there for Sunday Brunch. Seated in one of the rooms off the main dining room, so it was quiet even with World Cup Soccer on the big screen TV. Lots of good brunch choices on the menu, although I usually get the Ahi Tuna sandwich. My Brunch companions enjoyed their choices as well. Food is always very good, and service is attentive. Never been disappointed here.
Admittedly, I am no lamb shank afficionado. And while Perry's version was both tender and moist, I'd guess that if any flavors were ever associated with this piece of meat, they went down the drain with whatever it was cooked in--which is where the sinew (that was served with it) should have gone.
Amazing brunch food and fair prices!
as a vegan, ordered veggie burger. it was under cooked, & not inedible. my Husband ordered the special fried chicken & got no white meat. we have eaten at Perry's SF and Larkspur for many years and must say this was 1st disappointing meal. sure hope not a trend.
Perry’s is always an excellent value. Delicious food, excellent service and there’s always a Butler (owner) present. I will return again and again.
The pot roast, mashed potatoes and crip steamed vegetables were to die for!
The burger was very good. My friend's club sandwich was only OK; not really good.
