Perry's on Magnolia
Perry’s is known today, as much as ever, for its classic American food, its warm personable service and its fun, bustling bar. Perry’s traditional yet innovative menu includes a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, pastas, steaks and grilled fresh fish.
Lunch: Monday - Friday: 11:00am - 4:00pm
Dinner: Sunday - Wednesday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm, Thursday - Saturday: 4:00pm - 11:00pm
My only problem ever is getting drunk refills outside.
Good food, great service. I arrived early and saw our table was in the bar area which is quite lively. I asked if we could be in the upper dining room. The host was very gracious and moved us so we could converse more easily.
Wonderful, as usual. We feel right at home here, wait staff recognize us. Plus, can take dog to outdoor patio for dining there . . . they have heat lamps.
Food was fine overall but the mixed greens salad could use a bit more dressing and more veggies mixed in.
Great waiter! Good food! Lively atmosphere
Outstanding in every way. My next door neighbor and I share the same birthday. Perry’s complimented both of our desserts! Coupdn’t have had a nicer evening👍❗️
4 Friends shared 2 salads & a plate of BBQ ribs & were very satisfied as we dined outside on a fall afternoon. Salads were spinach with macron almond & beets & arugula with currants & goat cheese balls. Friends had not dined @ Perry's before & were delighted.
Perry’s never disappoints ! So great to have this City Classic updated and right in downtown Larkspur. Thanks Perry! You’ve still got the touch.
Perry’s is an easy place to take a group. Something for everyone. Good for families.
Very relaxing dining place. great for Outdoor dining among the large grove of Redwood trees.
Good drinks and food excellent service, friendly staffs.Moderate price👍👍👍👍
One of our entrees was missing the vegetable accompaniment. It was listed on the menu as "spinach and carrots" but the person who brought out the dish (who was not the wait person) said nothing about not serving it. I searched under the half chicken to see if it was hiding there -- it was not. So, I thought I must have been mistaken about it being on the menu. The wait person was scarce, so I didn't get a chance to ask what happened. I found out too late that I was correct: it should have been on the plate according to the menu. So, I was disappointed in not being satisfied with what I paid for, however, the food I did receive was good.
The food and wait service is good. However this is the second time the two young women who seat customers were not helpful and rude. We always have a reservation and ask for any table in room where bar is. Both times they were blunt and not accommodating.
Perrys is always fun with great food. My favorite restaurant in Marin.
I hate the televisions and the wanna-be sports bar energy! Thankfully everything else really - the food, the value, service is excellent.
Lovely atmosphere, food and service. Very pretty outdoor seating. Fabulous location.
Magnolia’s is a great place for food amid a great setting.
Eating outside under the Redwoods is sublime. It doesn’t matter how the food is. (It’s good). Drinks are delicious. Service is good too!
Perry has outdone himself in Larkspur. This a a true neighborhood go-to spot.
Beautiful day, sat outside. Great brunch with Bloody Mary. Life is good.
A place with a great ambiance and a cozy romantic feeling. The food is great and the prices are reasonable.
A solid place for brunch. Menu not that extensive and overall the food was just OK.
Went from brunch with two friends. We were seated immediately and the wait staff was quick, helpful and efficient. There was a 49er game on so occasionally the noise level went way up with enthusiasm from the viewers but it was short lived. Second time having brunch here and would recommend it to other friends.
As always, very consistent with great comfort food and service. Andrew was our server. We were late, as we ran into friends in the parking lot and we all commensurated that Perry's was a welcome addition to the Larkspur dining scene. Celebrated a friends Birthday, but come often just to nibble at the bar after a long day at work.
Always love the relaxed but wonderful atmosphere. We had an exceptional server this time!
Poor and slow service. Was hard to even get a water bottle refill. We were basically ignored.
We had the worse service.
Salads did not come st same time . We had to wait 15 minutes for second salad. Mac and cheese was burnt . It did not come with others main course. It was a main course for one of us. Waiter said kitchen had burnt the first one . He said we would have free desserts. But charged us for them. He said that he would give us a free dessert. Not 3. I would never go back!
Just the facts:
- Grilled salmon was way overdone on a bed of frozen peas and too much quinoa.
- My wife’s wine arrived after her meal was finished.
Bad service, bland food. Special occasion but I was not impressed.
Perry's is our neighborhood favorite. We've been going there since they opened and never disappointed.!
Always a pleasure. Menu is varied but not too large so food is predictably good.
A nice gesture is a special every night, 1/2 price wine, 1/2 price burgers, etc.
It is a spacious, well-lit, open area.
Restaurant is nestled in a stand of redwoods. We had a lunch reservation but were 30 minutes early. There were empty tables and we were seated right away. We were initially seated in the back room by the kitchen. My wife and I both thought it smelled like an overflowed toilet. We asked for and were granted a table in a different room. Soup and sandwiches were delicious and portions were plentiful.
Mixed reviews. Either are server failed to notify the kitchen or the kitchen failed to cook the swordfish as requested, which was well done and no sauce. The fish was raw and there was sauce on the entire fish.
The potatoe skins are still a favorite and the servers and busboys did a great job.
I'm becoming a regular at Perry's, every couple of weeks. Always easy. Always friendly. Beautiful setting in redwoods and a gorgeous, warm interior. One of my favorite places.
My first time at Perry's in Larkspur. Loved the location, the service, the restaurant itself. Really enjoyed the Seared Ahi Salad. Perfect size, wonderful blend of flavors. Was not impressed with the grilled artichoke. Tough would be a generous description. It looked pretty, but was inedible.
Everything else was great. My dining companion is gluten free and every accommodation was made to support that.
Will definitely be back.
We went for our friends bday & stayed about 6 hours & they couldn’t have been more kind about it-never felt pressure to leave-wonderful & fun time!!!
The deck of this restaurant is very pleasant and borders a stream - when stream running. The appetizers are delicious & enough for lunch. 1/2 price wine day a treat! They did forget my request for a birthday cake though😩
The hostess was great and stood in for the waiter who was invisible. He did show up with the check. The salad was terrific (greens, walnuts, and apples) with added steak.
Very nice atmosphere. Service was very attentive but not overbearing. Food was above average. We lucked out as wines were half priced the evening we dined.
Love Perry's! Wonderful crew, fun place to enjoy lunch/dinner or a drink at the bar. Food is great! The company feels like friends and family. Always an excellent experience!
