Perry's on Magnolia
Perry’s is known today, as much as ever, for its classic American food, its warm personable service and its fun, bustling bar. Perry’s traditional yet innovative menu includes a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, pastas, steaks and grilled fresh fish.
Wonderful outdoor patio dining. Twinkle lights and heat lamps. Tasty cocktails and the most tender filet mignon I have ever had! My daughter had salmon and not one morsel was left behind. Did I mention the incredible crab cakes we had as an appetizer? Definitely will be back! Too bad restaurants have to close outdoor dining for a month!
Beautiful evening under the Redwood trees and lights! French onion soup, crab cakes, slyders, beet salad, mac and cheese with bacon, all fantastic! Great service, nice last night out before shutdown.
Wonderful service and excellent food. Hoping they survive this closure for three weeks!
We love the outdoor trees and ambience! The food and service is usually excellent too. This time the service was lacking, but that is unusual
As always it was an enjoyable experience. Great fried chicken.
Perry's has met the challenge of difficult times. Seating outdoors is very pleasant in a restful setting - tables well-separated, outdoor heaters. Service is wonderful - knowledgeable, friendly waiters. The menu is not as extensive as it was in pre-pandemic days but the current offerings are well-prepared.
It was VERY cold. Need more heat lamps that are in working order.
Perry's is always good. They definitely have the best "out door" area to dine in all of Marin.
I want to love this place, the Perry's of my youth. In a lovely location, the former Lark Creek Inn. Location is still lovely. The food is ok, but nothing special. Somewhat disappointing.
We love everything about Perry's. Outside dining is perfect.
Beautiful restaurant under the majestic redwoods. Loved the food, service, ambiance and everything!
Perry's is fortunate to have beautiful grounds to accommodate lovely outside seating. As usual, food was very good and the service excellent. Thanks for having us !
I love this restaurant but the quality of the food was just not as good as its been in the past. I understand they also are trying to do their best with all the restrictions. It took a really long time to get our food, plus my dish didn't taste fresh?
Perry's in Larkspur is always one of my favorite places to go. The menu is priced right and the food is consistently good. I love sitting out back by the creek. Going to Perry's brings back nice memories of the past too when it was Lark Creek Inn. Thanks Perry's for always being a comfortable place to visit.
I love perry"s
I've been coming here since the 70's.
Not Marin but union st.
The Marin location is exceptional.
Stop serving eggs Blackstone, I'm gone.
That and a couple of bloody Mary's
Life is good
We had a great lunch at Perry's sitting in the lovely back patio area. During the Covid time it is difficult to have a dining experience where you feel safe and still part of a engaging restaurant environment. Our server Zoe was terrific. She had an awesome attitude and was very attentive especially to my 87 year old mother. Perry's Larkspur is one of our go to restaurants in Marin Co and it never disappoints.
Great Service, great menu choices, outside dining with heat warmer lights
We dined in the patio area. The tables are far apart and each table has two heaters. It was quite comfortable and the service was terrific.
Perry's service is great and my husband is so happy to see the Reuban on the menu out here in Larkspur!
Sat outside in front. Very comfortable and excellent service.
Beautiful and peaceful seating on the back patio along the creek. Staff is always friendly and attentive.,Food consistently wonderful, from their tomato bisque to salmon dinner. Add in the tavoli lighting strung between the giant redwoods and you'll be booking your next res before dinners over. Brunch is delicious too, if you want to change things up!
Our first visit to Perry's on Magnolia. We always knew it as the Lark Creek Inn. It was great then, and it's still a wonderful destination. Dining out back, under the redwoods on a relaxed afternoon was perfect. Perry's classic menu really fits the space. The onion strings are a must! The Chopped Salad and Chicken BLT were both terrific. Edgar treated us like family, and we had a memorable afternoon. We can't wait to return - it's really worth the drive from The City. Thanks to everyone!
Excellent service and food. Nice to be outside on a beautiful afternoon.
Great place for outdoor dining during Covid-19. Service was great. Food was ok.
Always good food and service. Sitting outdoors is pleasant and safe. There were 4 of us and we ordered a variety of appetizers to start with. My wife ordered Baby back ribs and loved them. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly (medium rare)
Family in town
Always lovely outdoor dining!
Great ambience, excellent food and service, outstanding value!
Lovely experience at Perry’s under the redwoods and stars. The service was perfect and just the right amount of masked (Covid) proximity to check in with us, take orders, pour water, etc. meals were delicious highly recommend for Covid or anytime.
Perry’s is a SF standard from way back and unfortunately the menu smacks of the late 70’s. One of our water glasses had lipstick. The food was mediocre. The chicken tenders appetizer were straight out of the freezer and into the deep fryer, the accompanying sauces were uninspired and the celery sticks had brown spots. My salad had yellowing arugula leaves and the chicken in the sandwiches were dry. The actual experience in terms of service and ambiance was outstanding and I think Perry’s is missing an opportunity to re-vamp and elevate their menu. I would not recommend and won’t be back.
Love the local and food is great
Good for casual lunch with friends and family as well as everyday dining.
Had brunch....Had egss which were very runny and it was an omelet..everyone else enjoyed their meal. Next time have to specify not soft and runny..which I wouldn't think for an omelet
We took our visiting family (7 of us total, including 3 teens) for dinner. Our reservation was handled with ease, and we were seated in the garden at a large table, a comfortable distance from other diners. Our waiter, Ann, could not have been more charming or accommodating! She made sure that we’d have a memorable experience. The service was impeccable. Hubs reported his burger was excellent; my Caesar salad had a generous portion of salmon, altho the greens were not as crisp as I usually find here. Our DIL Enjoyed her beet salad enormously; the kids loved the Mac n cheese with bacon bits and bread crumbs (which I tasted and declared it to be the best I’ve had), and the clam chowder. We topped off the meal with The Apple Brown Betty, with a side of cheese cake- both excellent! Meanwhile, we chatted with Ann our waitress when the dinner crowd thinned out, which was like catching up with a long time dear friend. Two days later, we were still talking about what a great time we’d had!
Lovely evening outside on the patio. The service was great, the food was delicious and the tequila was smooth. A+!
Portions were generous and the ambience is so lovely. Felt very safe!
Great experience and venue! Music was perfect under the redwoods! Food was delicious!! Thank You!
Food wasn’t great
Great. Love sitting under the redwoods
