The patio is awesome. View of the bridge at night and great food...what else is there??
Good food. Reasonably priced. Nice ambiance. SLOW service.
Nice place with helpful servers and reasonable prices for fine quality.
Very pleasant and comfortable place for casual low-key dining. Love the menu and service!
The staff is very friendly and accommodating towards our requests. We took advantage of the deal of the day which was half off wine. The food could use a little more salt for my taste, but overall great experience with friends and nice view of the Bay Bridge.
Great server! Salads were huge and food came out fast. We take all our out of town guests there if they’re just flying through the city for brunch.
Perry's is about location! Feel like going to Europe but just can't find the time? Perry's will seat you on the sidewalk under the Bay Bridge, and let you enjoy the sunset. The drinks were good, the food was average, the prices matched well, so we will come back with teenagers who eat tons and enjoy our ferry ride back to Marin.
The service was fantastic and the food was pretty good. Happy hour there is usually very busy at the bar and reservations for dinner is recommended. Great spot to get drinks or food after work and the location is great to get back to BART or the Transbay Terminal quickly.
This is a fun place to eat in the heart of San Francisco. It has a friendly bar area and indoor and outdoor seating for meals. The restaurant is classy without being pretentious. The menu leans towards a good selection and variety of comfort foods that were well prepared and reasonably priced. This would be a good spot to eat after a Giants afternoon game as it is within walking distance from AT&T Park. Service was friendly, although somewhat slow on the night we ate there. On that Saturday night there seemed to be a mix of families, couples, and business people. This spot attracts more locals than some other downtown restaurants that seem to concentrate on tourists. I recommend it highly and plan on returning soon.
It was a nice dinner- wasn’t sure what to expect. The food was just so-so. Steak was over cooked (no time to send back or complain) but not even close to what he ordered. The crab risotto was good but didn’t find much crab....
The brunch/lunch choices were reasonable, though the service was a bit slow at first. Biggest problem was that we were seated at a table near the bar, and the noise made it almost impossible to carry on a conversation.
I was meeting an old friend for dinner that has food allergies. They were able to find plenty of choices and the waiter was terrific about answering questions. We sat outside and it was a little chilly, but that's San Francisco for you. In hindsight, I would have sat inside. The dining room looked nice. The outdoor area is probably better for lunch.
Very basic menu although corned beef hash was notable--great chunks of beef and two perfectly poached eggs! French toast was burnt and difficult to cut into. Challah should be soaked longer in the egg mixture in order to saturate the bread a bit more... Service was unenthusiastic to say the least. No one smiled, no one asked if we wanted refills. We needed to ask for everything. Decaf coffee was not hot and tasted burnt--had to return it. Bloody Mary was unremarkable to say the least--not even a celery stick in it. Someone needs to educate the bar tender on presentation. The food was not bad, but it also was unremarkable. I would not recommend to any of my friends.
Dinner after a giants game. Very busy but with reservations we had no wait. Would definitely go s repeat visit.
We come to Perry's every year before Giant's Opening Day! It is the BEST - service was excellent!
Food was not prepared properly and was sent back twice. Server forgot a few things and had to be reminded. They overlooked that I requested this as a birthday occasion on Open Table.
Food was great, service was excellent!
Awesome. Delicious food. Gracious portions & affordable.
Terrible service - we went on a Monday night and the restaurant was bustling. Our waiter was very unattentive, had to ask for water refills, forgot our drink order, never checked back on us after our food was delivered. I don't know if they were shorthanded that night but we haven't had that poor service in a long time. It's a shame too because the food was decent.
an SF favorite and never disappointed. Well run restaurant.
Excellent. Food fabulous. Wait staff attentive. Very noisy though .
I've been to Perry's a few times, and it's always been a reliable spot for a burger or other pub food. Maybe ordering brunch at the tail end of a Sunday afternoon is not a good time, but none of our three meals were beyond ordinary. The corned beef in the corned beef hash was tough. The eggs in the Eggs Benedict were undercooked. The toast was cold. All in all, it was just a total non-event. To me, that's a waste of a dining opportunity in a city where great restaurants abound.
Perry’s is always solid and delicious! Great ambiance, not too expensive and always has great food including classics in the menu. Awesome music when we were last there!
Perry’s is always the perfect brunch locations. Exceptional food, great service, great views. Very relaxing and wonderful.
The food was great, the host was charming, the waitress (Merry) was warm and attentive, and the drinks were excellent. All in all, a wonderful time was had!
There with a wheelchair and the staff were excellent including the valet.
Excellent service and delicious food. Always a gem!!
Excellent meal with very good portions. Waiter was attentive and the food was served quickly for lunch hour.
It was a strange hour to have lunch that day. But it ended out to be a very nice couple of hours. Good beer. Good service and the food is pretty fine. I had the tuna tartar and it was exactly what I needed at that time.
A fantastic experience! A quiet dinner with six friends at a very comfortable table next to a window looking out to the Bay Bridge. Excellent service and food was great. Had a delicious lobster, the daily special. Will return soon!
Perry’s has the best Ramus fizz and the entire Bay Area. And the eggs Benedict is amazing. I love this place.
You never disappoint and are so willing to make substitutions to fit dietary restrictions. Thanks to your delightful staff.
We were in San Francisco for a week and dined at different spots every night. Perry’s offered the best food, a sea bass special and Petrale sole dinner. It was delicious, we finished every bite. Apple Brown Betty for dessert, better than grandma’s! And don’t miss the Irish coffee, it rivals the Buena Vista Cafe. If you are staying near the Embarcadero don’t miss this little gem.
Great place - friendly good food, reasonably priced! Will recommend it to friends.
Wonderful as always. Thanks to the crew that works this restaurant.
Great burger and sweet potato fries
I have been to Perry's on several occasions and they never fail! We went for Saturday lunch and was able to score a table right by the window, with a terrific view of the Bay Bridge. Menu is consistently tasty and our waiter was very attentive without being too bothersome. He was delightful! Perry's is the best and a true gem in SF ~
For our group of seven who have been breakfasting together for 40+ years, Perry's was a good place to be. The food was very good, the server unobtrusive and there when needed, and the noise level low, as befits late Sunday mornings. Upon arrival, the hostess told us we were to be seated at a "high table", which we declined, as several of us have mobility issues. This change was managed swiftly. The hostess made sure a lost glove was returned to one of us, which involved her chasing after us after we left-- she could have easily not done so. We appreciated it!
This is a very good option for a good weekend brunch with a waterfront view without having to wait in line. While the food is solid, it is not spectacular. The potatoes are good. The eggs Benedict are descent. The best breakfast dish was corned beef hash with porched eggs. I will get that next time. Some negatives are no greetings upon arrival. For a block long depth restaurant, there is only one Maitre'D, so I noticed while I myself waited that many customers wondered what to do a bit when she disapeared taking other customers to a table in the back. Nobody really greets you besides one Maitre'D. One of the French toasts was burnt. Our waitress didn't notice until we pointed the burnt part on the plate to her which was quite obvious. Instead of leaving the plate and let us continue eating good pieces (she knew we ordered it to share) and bring one good toast she took the plate away and returned with freshly made unburnt French Toasts when we were almost done with our breakfast. It took a while. It's not her fault but it made me think no quality control to begin with, no priority to customer service in mind overall. But I will go back and I will suggest this restaurant if you do not want to wait in line for a long time for a Sunday brunch.
