I eat at Periyali every time I am in New York City. The food is wonderful; the only problem is deciding what to have a bite of next. Drinks are fine. Service is good without being obtrusive. I love this restaurant!

Periyali was one of the first upscale restaurants in the neighborhood. It has consistently served well prepared food in a lovely environment. We have never been disappointed.

Excellent Restaurant. Have eaten there many times and am NEVER disappointed.

Lovely restaurant, food is very good. Only one observation more than criticism. Bus boys tried 3 times to take away appetizer dish of spreads whilst clearly still being used. Then with the table full of breadcrumbs from the delicious pita, instead of sweeping away breadcrumbs they just plonked the main course (wonderful Branzino) straight on top of a clearly 'dirty' table. Just a question of training I think but didn't spoil the evening. I suspect owners would be disappointed in their staff to find out.

This is a wonderful Greek restaurant that is a delight to eat in. The drinks, wine and food selections are delicious and the staff is very nice. There are an assortment of tables in various connected rooms which lends a sense of intimacy to the space. We would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our evening ! Excellent service, friendly waiter who was eager to please. Delicious food; salad, fish, and lamb chops. Would recommend they add a wine list, rather than wine by the glass as the only option.

Great restaurant, good solid fare, good value for money, attentive service. Gets a bit crowded - it is popular!

The food is always bursting with flavor, from the salad to the spanikopita, from the branzino to the various salmon entrees. The staff is always gracious & helpful, the ambiance is relaxing & beautiful, & the host (Phillip) welcomes everyone with a warm smile. Been dining here for years--love this treasure!

The food and service are always excellent. You have to try to Octopus, it is amazing. This time we also had the scallop special and it was delicious as well. I can not say enough good things about Periyali. Just go try it, you will not be disappointed.

After 30 years, Periyali is still as good as it always has always been. After traveling to Greece it is clear that the food is authentic and delicious. You can't go wrong here.

Great long-time neighborhood stalwart that remains relevant by preparing and serving authentic and elegant upscale Greek fare with panache. Never disappoints.

It was very quiet at lunch and sitting in the back section of the restaurant, under the skylight was sublime.

As an Astoria native and half-Greek person, I was shocked to find Greek food this good in Manhattan. The salmon and spinach baked in phyllo dough was unreal. Great ambiance, great service, will return.
