Perch offers 360 degree views of the breathtaking downtown Los Angeles skyline. The venue is perfectly suited for a variety of events and can accommodate 15-480 guests.
View Private Dining DetailsIt was a beautiful place to eat, the food is so delicious! I will be back again.
Incredible ambiance and food. Would recommend this to everyone.
Amazing staff, food, view and set up of the place. We had a good time...
I had so much fun! I will go here many more times! Gorgeous views, delicious food, and even a live band!
The views are fantastic and the service exceptional!
Great overall experience 💕 no complaints. Amazing cocktails
Top of the building offers a lovely view of Los Angeles
Made a reservation on open table about a week prior to dinner. Everything went smooth. It was everyone's first time and we really didn't know what to expect but we were all pleasantly suprised with our scenic outside seating. Food was delicious especially sliders and mini hot dogs. Good value at 2.50 each. Chocolate bread pudding incredible. Cocktails were strong and delicious! Great entertainment at 7pm. Everything went fantastic and our work group will be back.
Bad service. Mediocre food. Spectacular view.
The filet mignon was just okay, not melt in your mouth. Food was not hot. Restaurant was noisy. Atmosphere was wonderful.
Had the best time celebrating my birthday here. Service was top notch along with the food. And the views up the city were amazing.
Special dinner with my Son and his girlfriend
Went with family for birthday celebration. We were seated outside/rooftop next to lovely fireplace. There was a live R&B band playing. The food/drink delicious and the ambience was fantastic. Go experience it!
Beautiful city view, excellent for Sunday brunch drinks are very good, love the relax seating
The view and ambiance were great. Our server was very attentive and kind! Always a great time at Perch!
This place was amazing!! I took my boyfriend out to have a nice dinner. They sat us right outside next to the fireplace and it was beautiful!!! Food was amazing!! Service top notch.. then we wanted to go to the bar.. at first the guy said we had to stand in line.. then said naw I’ll let you guys up!! Bar was fun as well with beautiful scenery of downtown
We arrived on time for our reservation, but were made to wait 45 minutes for our table. We felt rather grumpy about it, until one of the hosts brought us glasses of bubbly, and seated us at a lovely table outside. All better! Great music, beautiful view, wonderful ambience and good food. All in all, it ended up being a fantastic night!
great food and service! our server London was very helpful and polite, and our view was beautiful! we had a great patio table that was the host's favorite so we appreciated the special effort.
We had a good time ... as every time we come to Perch ... 💃👍😍🍷
The food is great and the service was surprisingly fast, even though it was during prime Sunday brunch time! Be sure to make a reservation.
all around amazing. food, service, ambiance were all amazing
Food was very good; service is fast and very good server and very knowledgeable- TJ.
Me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Perch LA, with it's beautiful views of the DTLA skyline from the L shaped patio complete with cafe lights, live music and creative decor. From appetizer to desert, not to mention to wine and cocktails, the food was mouthwatering and delicious. The service staff was good but could use some improvement to earn the 5th star.
Perch still outstanding after several years.
Food on point, service on point, reasonable prices.
I’ll be back...again.
Very cool place to go in downtown LA. Views of the buildings; outdoor and indoor seating; music the night we went. Loved it. Good...but not great...food. But, the setting made all things spectacular in my book.
Had such a great waiter & food was delicious...we ended up staying much longer than we expected!
Really great food however table was too small and short for a party of 6.
Amazing food, great drinks, live music. Overall, had a wonderful time.
Good place to celebrate birthdays or dates. Make reservations!
Service: I'm disappointed to have to ding Perch on service because I've generally received decent service from the start of my dinner to the end of my dinner while at Perch. We ended up sitting for fifteen minutes (no one greeted or spoke with us after being seated) before we flagged down a waiter (whom I don't think was supposed to be our waiter) to help us. Once we flagged down the waiter from three tables over and he realized that we had fallen through the cracks, he (and the rest of the staff) were on it, and we had several wait staff checking on us throughout our meal (even offered a round of drinks for our wait; unfortunately, we weren't drinking that night). It was interesting to me though, because we saw one of the staff walking through the restaurant giving directions to the rest of his wait staff. He walked by us several times, looked directly at me, but never spoke to us.
Food: Food was decent.
Ambiance: Nothing better in DTLA.
Molly Miller Band was amazing. Little Bunny Frou Frou and the Bread Pudding stole the show.
Late night dinner after a concert. No better place to walk to from Colbert School, or Disney for that matter. Great food, great ambiance, but this is all about the views.
Very romantic
I had made a reservation on open table for 10:30pm. I called and was able to switch my reservation over the phone to 8:30. Upon arrival my reservation was no where to be found and was quite upsetting especially driving all the way from Ventura. Nevertheless the hostess was able to seat us after a short wait. We enjoyed some cocktails at the bar that were created to perfection. After our drinks we were seated right away at an uncomfortable table crammed up against a planter. Luckily after 10 minutes we were able to be moved to another table. Our Surf & Turf skewers were the best item of the night. Once our steaks came mine was extremely over cooked and replaced. Dessert was nothing to rave about. The perch has been my go to place for special occasions and to entertain clients however after so many issues arising through every visit so think it is now time to find a new go to place.
It was a great experience, I have no complaint whatsoever ever
Paul was great! Drinks and food were great, although the sides were just barely warm, but Paul took care of it. Aside from the tepid sides, the only “negative “ thing was, as I was getting up from the table, the busser put his tray on the table to start clearing it off. At least wait until we’re clearly gone. Aside from that, I definitely recommend.
Perch offers a fun and eye-opening glimpse into the community Downtown LA has become. We went for a late Sunday brunch with friends on a warm Spring day after an LA Phil concert. The restaurant was filled with young people of every imaginable description. The place bubbled over with positive energy and laughter. The food was delicious, if not imaginative, and reasonably priced. The views of Downtown from the balcony were interesting. Our foursome of 70-80 somethings had a great and memorable time!!
The only reason I gave 3 stars for service review is the following. The waiters were all extremely energetic and nice. However, our particular waitress had no clue what drinks are supposed to look like in order to even know if the drinks served were correct. I ordered a Bellini because the description of "peach puree" got me. My friend ordered a mimosa with grapefruit juice. When we got our drinks, my friend's mimosa looked orange instead of pink. So, it was an orange juice mimosa. My Bellini was pink and looked like the grapefruit mimosa and it tasted really, really tart. HOWEVER, we didn't say anything because I just assumed they used some unripened peaches for the puree. My friend just didn't know. When we ordered a second round, she actually got her grapefruit mimosa and we realized my first drink was her mimosa. My second drink now was actually the Bellini. It was the correct color and it was sweet and you could see the peach puree at the bottom of the glass. It's thicker than a mimosa. It was delicious. So, I told our waitress, light heartedly, I felt "jipped" out of my first Bellini because I actually got a grapefruit mimosa, and she said "don't worry, I'll just comp you another Bellini." She was very sweet about it. So, she brings me another "bellini" and happily puts it in front of me, saying, "here you go, sorry about the mix up on the first one." We just all laughed and didn't say anything to her. It was literally a glass of Rose champagne. It looked NOTHING like a bellini which is orange and thick, not pink and clear. So, Perch management, TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE TO KNOW WHAT THINGS SHOULD LOOK LIKE. We didn't tell our waitress anything since we figured, it's a "free" drink. Let's leave it alone. We did laugh, though.
Wonderful service and food
Perch is usually full to bursting for Sunday brunch. Although the food is good, it's honestly all about the scenery. When the sun is shining on one of the first really warm spring days, DTLA is laid out before you, and everyone is dressed up for that special time with friends and family, there is no place I would rather eat Sunday brunch. Its comfort breakfast food done up just a touch fancy, like Huevos Rancheros and Crab Benedict. Lots of coffee and some yummy desserts like Orange Creme Brulee. A reservation is a must, especially on Sundays.
