Everything was really nice except the weather which was really cold. However, 2 of our appetizers were mixed up with something else and never made it to us. But over all, ambiance, drinks and amazing steak.

A beautiful energetic experience with wonderful views, great live music, amazing food and a attentive staff. I would recommend this to anyone with an eye for style and one who must have a wonder view while eating and drinking. I love this place. Word of advise! Make a reservation if you plan to dine in the evening. Try the bread pudding. Almost orgasmic...... almost. 😉

Perch is on the top floor of a vintage hotel, and it's retained the 1920s (or so) ambience, including the funky elevator. The view is spectacular. Lots of interesting cocktails. The brussels sprouts and wild mushroom risotto made for an excellent meal. Quite a memorable place.

A completely enjoyable evening dining there. From the decor to the jazz band killing it while playing in winter coats, beanies and scarves outside in 48 degree weather (which is epic cold for LA!). Great attentive service, friendly bartenders and, of course, delicious food. Will be back in warmer weather to enjoy the rooftop bar!!!

The Perch is a vibrant restaurant with good views of downtown Los Angeles and delicious food. The ambiance is bohemian and very relaxed. The noise level is not. Coming from out of town, I wanted a good restaurant with amazing views of downtown and thought The Perch would give that. Because it was a cold evening, the restaurant seating area was tented off and the views were more of the other tables. The noise level was accentuated by the enclosed space. If you want the spectacular views, take the elevator to the 16th floor to enjoy The Perch's true rooftop bar. That was amazing and I will go back for that when it is warmer!

Managed a last minute reservation for a birthday dinner. From the moment we stepped out of the elevator we were amazed. Cocktail was incredible. Appetizer was beyond fantastic. Dinner and dessert were too good to over ourselves. We'll absolutely be back soon.

My fiance and I had the most romantic time dining at The Perch for our four year anniversary. I made a reservation for sunset, and we couldn't have been happier with the view. The service was amazing, the food absolutely delectable, and the wine list floored me. Everything was wonderful!

It’s best to make a reservation, but there is a chance you can get seating. Sunday brunch is wonderful!

I had a great experience here for brunch. Our server David was amazing and times everything perfectly. He did however "trapped" me into getting a mimosa. I just couldn't resist. His sales pitch was very convincing. The mimosa was literally a splash of fresh orange juice and mostly sparkling wine. I dressed in upscale casual in a nice blouse, jeans, & heels, but saw many people not in this dress code. I didn't know if it was because it was All-Star weekend or what but it was much more casual than expected. Make sure to make your reservations through OpenTable. We went right in and they accommodated my request for outside seating :) I ordered the French Toast with fresh berries which was DELICIOUS. I am a fiend for French toast and this was probably the best I ever had. They used a croissant instead and it tastes as if they mixed butter with powered sugar and egg and dipped the croissants in it. We also ordered the truffle fries which were also SO worth it! I would've ordered another plate but.... I had to down the French toast. My boyfriend got the #13 eggs Benedict with their perch potatoes. He didn't really enjoy it because it didn't have as much paprika as he likes but I enjoyed it so I guess it just depends on preference. The potatoes were also really delicious. The ambiance on the 15th floor is great outside. It was a nice breeze so I'd suggest bringing a sweater just in case you get cold easily. We were able to make our way to the 16th floor where the bar is but they close at 2 pm and were only up there for 30 minutes or so. Here isn't much seating and there just isn't that much up there to begin with; we seating two-person bartender bar, good music. I would not suggest it if you don't like crowded areas. We were able to find $6 all day Sunday parking down the block so that saves us a lot of money as well. Overall a great experience!

This was a very special night. My husband and I celebrated our first Valentine's Day as a married couple. I wanted something with a view and spectacular food. Perch was perfect for the occassion. The only reason why I did not give a 5 for overall experience is because of the dining table experience. There was a delay with seating us, since i made a special request to sit outside. That delay wasnt an issue, it was the table we were seated at. The table we were seated at was in the middle of a walkway and we kept getting bumped into. Our water was spilled a bit, knife knocked off the table, then lamp knocked off. We get it, busy night, but maybe just make us wait instead of everyone bumping into us due to the table being " added in." NEVERTHELESS, FOOD WAS AMAZING!!!!

Food was good, ambiance is amazing with the skyscraper views of LA, but our waitress was late on most of our orders and forgot to input the order or split the bill as requested at the beginning of the meal. We overheard another waiter saying she was drinking in the back which would explain that poor service. Other that, that the place is very good and I love going there.

My girlfriend loved it! It was our valentines date and we did this the day before to avoid the chaos; and it was so romantic. Extremely, friendly and accommodating. From my observation this is very much a formal/casual setting. For men: A nice dress shirt; no tie needed. For woman: A beautiful comfortable black dress is enough; no need to over dress. I was very satisfied, knowingly, I have been here for drinks before, but never dinner. Great place for a romantic date. Not too pricey...

Came for my wife’s birthday and we both love it. I got the filet mignon that was cooked perfectly (medium well) and my wife got the salmon that was equally good. The almost cake is a must try.... DELICIOUS!!! The waiter(Tyler) props to him, made the evening a delight. Both funny and attentive . The drinks are really strong also (which my wife didn’t complain at all) and at about $14 each not bad. I had Pranqsters all night so I was good. Also got about 30mins earlier than the reservations I made (7pm) and got seated immediately. The band playing was really good. It’s nice that you can hear them where ever you go (yes, even the restroom)
