It was a nice brisk morning, air was fresh, and the view was amazing! From the moment you step into the building, you see the rich art 1920s architecture. We were seated immediately; our server Javier was very patient, attentive and efficient. When we arrived for early brunch, it was still pretty cool so he offered us some blankets which my Jamaican family appreciated. Food was a nice mixture of French and Californian cuisine. I also loved that the other patrons were diverse backgrounds, as were the hosts/servers. We were going to a hike by the Hollywood Lake Park, so initially we were worried you had to dress formally, it was less formal for bunch. You got to connect with the people you came with and enjoy the ambience and food. We really enjoyed it! It was a quintessential Californian experience!

It was our first time there I did call ahead I needed to add one more to my table of two and they had not problem accommodating us. We also arrived maybe 25 mins early and sat us down immediately. Will definitely be going back

My first time eating here, we were sat at a table with an amazing view, but was said the heater didn’t work, and brought us blankets. The menu selection was not that great, so I ordered a salad and cheesy fries. Also I ordered tea to keep me warm. I asked the waiter to put on rush on the food since it was so cold. As the bill was coming they decided to turn the heater on, the one they said didn’t work, by then I was already freezing.

I had a happy hour with my friend and my husband. The view was amazing and the ambiance was peaceful, it was a very comfortable nighttime. The service was good, their food was good. But most of happy hour food were relatively small and volume for two people. So we had too order several items. Overall we had a good time.

The rabbit ravioli was a different sort of treat. The pasta pouch was thick and tasty. The rabbit’s unique flavor was drown out by the sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly, however plated as a slab of meat, rather than sliced for a better presentation and more tender bites. There could have been more sauce for the steak. The tuna tartare was excellent with several flavors going on. The fries that came with the steak were excellent.

Spectacular views outdoors on the 15th floor of a building in downtown Los Angeles. First class all the way. Excellent service. The menu is a bit limited, but the food was creative and tasty. I had the short rib with beets. Highly recommended. Pricey but worth it.
