Went for an anniversary dinner and it was marvelous! Fun and lively environment but still able to enjoy our one on one time. Would highly recommend dates here
Steak was really bad
VERY LA! Gorgeous view, unique setting. Food and service are nothing to rave about but they take a back seat to the location.
It was nice after all however few things were remarkable such as The rooftop view!
My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience. We went for happy hour and tapas before going to a show after. The drinks were amazing and the food was delicious and our waiter David was funny and he really was very attentive. We are definitely going to be going back again.
Amazing!!! Service, food, and view always deliver. A MUST when visiting LA.
Great service! Also the food was really good and its for a good price. Overall view is amazing at night. Need to go back to see the view during the ay for brunch!
The waitress see my friend couldn't speak English changed her attitude became extremely rude
Great place for special occasions or everyday thing if you can financially handle it. Great food and great service and a great view to match. Their menu is small but tasty so no complaints.
Overall our experience at Perch was great. We had two waiters, and the second one really turned around the night for us. He was so kind, and much more friendly than everyone else.
The happy hour deals though! That was like stumbling on a gold mine because the drinks were delicious and the food was just as impressive.
Would definitely come for happy hour every day if I worked closer to LA.
The food was spectacular too. Loved the scallops, and the rabbit ravioli.
It was still a great experience even though it was raining. They were well prepared for the rain, so the ambiance was still really enjoyable.
My only critique is: some of the ladies that work there could be a little less snobby and b*tchy.
For gods sake girls, get off your high horse, you work at a nice restaurant, you aren't Beyonce.
This is for the hosts, and whoever answers the phone on Tuesday afternoons around 3-5 PM.
Obviously Perch is a fancy place, so the people that work there should have some manners, and not act like snobby princesses.
very nice view
The staff were really inviting from the very beginning, and
Lunchtime treat while shopping in Downtown LA.
Always fun and always memorable. Great service and food.
One of my favorite spots in LA for brunch! The ambiance is always lively and the food is fantastic. Service is on point as well. A fun place for groups and for celebrating special occasions. Also a great spot for a fun date.
Took my daughter’s here for breakfast and they enjoyed it. I always enjoy the food and today I had a delicious sidecar. Never disappointed.
Great place for any occasion, spots for lounging, and veiw, wish I didn't visit during the win, but still glad I did
Awesome restaurant. It’s the perfect bar/restaurant for date nights or large group parties.
Outstanding place! My wife bday celebration was great
Great rooftop restaurant, hidden from the view. Food is great, with a warning for big eaters: portions can be small for some plates. A good affordable choice is the gnocchis with added chicken breasts. Will definitely go back is the opportunity arises.
Food was fantastic
Views were amazing
Waiters were on top of their game
Prices, a bit too high
Took my cousin from Australia here so I could show off the beautiful LA cityscape at night. We got that and sooo much more here! The view, the food, the music, everything was beautiful. Definitely would recommend to everybody. An amazing, classy little rooftop restaurant.
The white chocolate banana bread pudding is a must and the view over DTLA is beautiful!
I had family from NYC and ATL in town for the OSCARS I have not been downtown in quite a few years "it has changed" Perch is an amazing addition to the change. Went on Sunday night the Jazz band playing on the patio was amazing, the skyline view impeccable our server Cole was very personable the only downfall we waited a little time for our food however, it was delicious the presentation was awesome. I know my family from the East Coast were impressed. Highly recommend PERCH L.A.
Overall I like the place and would come back. But we chose this restaurant for our anniversary and I felt we were warmly welcomed. But after the initial greeting it felt like business as usual. So I can’t say I’d return for a special occasion. Our waiter looked like he’d been running and was annoyed that some patrons had over stayed their welcome by parking themselves at a table from 4 o’clock onwards. And for that I blame management working with the waiters. They should have addressed this situation. The roof top was chilly, and because of this I was told they were not able to close in the side of the tent because of this table with the rude patrons in the way.
The waiter needed to alert management and ask them if they could move them to the bar. Comp a couple drinks for them.
There are things that could be done.
And when I asked about a table heater politely. I was told that they couldn’t move the heater and not until I told the waiter I couldn’t take it anymore, did we move to the lounge because I spied out a spot.
Food was great, dessert was really lacking. The almond cake was super dry. I wanted to say something to the waiter, but he looked like he was just constantly running. So I didn’t get to send it back.
You guys need to get it together if your going to serve people especially for a special event. We aren’t movie stars, but for one night, you can make people feel a little special. I really though there would be something a little more because our confirmation call from Perch focused on our anniversary. The host asked, and confirmed the amount of years.
Anyways, I’d come back for the drinks and view. But I can’t say I’d be running back for my next special event. Kind of sad. You have so much potential.
First time at Perch and the staff was very attentive. Sunday night, and it was busy, but never felt neglected. Ambiance was good, almost felt like some of my fav restaurants in NYC. Food was wonderful and I would definitely recommend it to any of my friends wanting to head to DTLA for dinner.
Our experience at Perch was incredible. They were ready for our arrival at an outdoor table with blankets and heaters already turned on. The food was on the pricier side, but was without question one of the best meals I ever had. Their baked brie appetizer deserves a special shoutout. Beautiful view, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. Five stars.
Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating.
I’m just sorry I didn’t catch their names. Because, they deserve to be recognized for their amazing customer service!!
We were welcoming a colleague back from Med School, they were traveling from far and could not make our time slot (LA traffic, anyone?)
The front desk and management offered to move us to a dinner slot, since I checked in on time for my reservation.
The Service was Superb, the drinks were great. Food was just ok.
Never been there for dinner, I think I’m going to stick with brunch as I’ve been a fan of that.
Overall, we had a great time!
Thank you Perch!
Great place! Prime location and great ambiance. Will definitely come back to try dinner.
Loved the environment. It was a great place to have brunch and celebrate.
Nice ambiance. Great variation of guests.
Marvelous view from our patio corner table!
Crab Benedict came highly recommended, but was only so-so. Very small portion.
Veggie burger was great - AFTER scraping off the overwhelming rockford cheese.
It was a great time. Can’t wait to go again.
Absolutely stunning views!!
Your reservation can be a little delayed if they have to close the table section outside due to rain, which brings everyone inside and increases the noise level waaaaay too much.
The food was good and tasty but the portions are a little on smaller and simple side and overpriced taking that into consideration and would definitely recommend ordering a Petit Plus side!
The scallops and the salmon not worth ordering for the portion and price tag but would recommend sticking to the steak/meat and chicken entrees.
We had the best time at Perch! We got a table outside on the patio overlooking the downtown night sky. The live music was perfect- Neo Soul/R&B. And the food and service were amazing!
Really cool spot with a great view! Food was excellent, service was friendly enough but a little pushy to order more. Seating outside is romantic but can get a bit chilly - perhaps some more/different heaters would be a worthy investment.
I don’t have to leave a review on food and service. This place has it all. If you are ever in L.A. you need to make this happen. Sincerely, Me
From the beginning to the end, the meal was a disappointment. They tried to seat us outside
on the coldest day of the year, tried to rush us through the meal, food was average at best.
Would not return or recommend.
My wife and I were in Los Angeles to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary. We picked Perch because of its location and because live music on Sunday night. We were pleased with the food and the service was great. Our server asked about our visit and we mentioned our anniversary. Later we brought two complementary glasses of champagne to help us celebrate. When next we visit Los Angeles, Perch will be on the short list of places we will want to visit again.
Beautiful setting with yummy food!
