Amazing. Just a lovely night.
Great food, friendly staff, well-priced, and the view is quintessential LA! Glad to have found this gem not far from the Disney Hall!
good food, good for date night and the view at rooftop is awesome,
Great view. Live music 5-7. Great happy hour prices.
One of the best meals I’ve ever ate in my life. One of the best atmospheres I’ve ever been in. I loved it. 100% worth the cost.
Dress warmly as the heaters are not as plentiful as expected but the experience is always amazing!
Very special place on a rooftop bar and Resto, a little noisy but very vibrant and energetic crowd. My bro is an executive chef and he knows food and was suitably impressed by what they offered. Very reasonable prices plus a nice selection of cocktails, wine and beer. Will definitely go back in the summer or fall.
I see why everyone gives this place such a stellar rating. A must while visiting LA.
Perch is always a good vibe and the Truffle cheese fries are always a hit. Food was a little cold this time but we were starving and didnt send it back. Waitress attentive and drinks were always filled
Perch never disappoints. It is one of my favorite go to restaurants. Whether friends and family are visiting from out of town, my niece’s college acceptance celebration, my mom’s 82nd birthday or ladies night. We are always all smiles walking away. The food is amazing all dietary restrictions are accommodated. Staff is exceptional! Love it!!!
Service is outstanding, second to none in the downtown area.. Friendly, considerate, and my go to spot in the LA basin area.
This was our 2nd time dining at Perch. We went a year ago and had a wonderful meal. We were looking forward to our return visit. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Our reservation was at 6:30 and we were seated immediately. The waiter came right over and asked us if we were ready to order. Seriously? We had just sat down. He must have come back 3 times in the next 5 minutes until we put our order in. We ordered appetizers, entrees and some sides. The appetizers were out in 10 minutes and the entrees were out shortly thereafter before anyone had even cleared our appetizer plates. And we were still finishing the appetizers as well! For an upscale restaurant this was unacceptable. The total time of our meal from ordering to being done was 50 minutes. The charcuterie board was disappointing - the quality of the meats and cheeses were fine but it was small and uninspiring compared to ones we have had at comparable restaurants. The rest of our meals were "fine" but nothing to rave about for the pricing and the reputation of Perch. There are no shortages of amazing restaurants in LA and this is not one of them sadly.
This was supposed to be a celebration dinner. In all honesty, this place was just a huge disappointment. First, Perch needs to change the dress attire recommendation from “smart casual” to “roll out of bed casual”. If I had worn my my flip flops and shorts, I would have been over-dressed. Perch, please do people a favor and remove this recommendation from your website. There were people dressed in shorts, tennis shoes, baseball caps, hoodies, and yoga pants. The service was anything but exceptional. Our waiter was extremely unmotivated and obviously unhappy to be working on a Saturday evening. We paid the price. We ordered a bottle of wine, which took nearly 35 minutes to show up. Same when we ordered our dinner. It took about 40 minutes and the food was cold and pretty blah. Definitely bar food. There are much better experiences in the downtown area.
My husband and I were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we got an awesome outdoor corner table with a view. Our server was awesome and the food was great. Only problem was the newly 21 year old that sat at the table in back of us. She was there with her 30 something boyfriend and they were super loud and cussed and argued through their whole dinner. At one point we stopped our own conversation and just listened to them argue because they were just so obnoxiously loud we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. Non of this was the restaurants fault, but I felt like they could’ve asked them to tone it down just a bit.
What a great day! We had such a good time
First trip to Perch for my husband. We had a great brunch experience, with a perfect outdoor table and efficient and super friendly service from London and Aisha. Looking forward to our next visit.
The ambience was intimate and romantic. Great place to have great food while enjoying the scenery.
Had a great time, I’ve been here twice and both times the food was incredible. The service is great as usual and the whole experience is very enjoyable .
Great as always.
Was an amazing experience food was delicious
I love that place it was my second time there and would definitely continue to go back and will highly recommend it. All employees are very nice great customer service. Thank you so much.
We came for Brunch on a Saturday, it was a little busy but we had reservations and were seated right away. The food was delicious, and service was amazing. Will definitely be returning soon.
Beautiful ambiance and excellent service. View was amazing. Food was delicious.
It is always a joy to dine at Perch. The staff make every effort to make your visit enjoyable. The food is always excellent. And the folks behind the bar definitely know what they are doing. Who ever heard of putting a restaurant on a roof except in LA? Well in LA it is the best place. Special occasion or just a treat for yourself and friends, Perch should be high on your list.
Table 99! The best for a Valentine’s Day dinner
David our server was superb his hospitality and prompt service was the anchor in our experience thank you!
Loved it! Went there for my bday and my wife and I enjoyed every single second at the perch!!
The food was great and it actually filled us up. I had the fillet mignon which was delicious and my friends had the gnocchi, which was also really good. The prices for main plates range from $25-45, which I think is reasonable because of the nice atmosphere. All in all, a great experience!
Great place, great service, view of the city was a little obstructed because of the weather but overall great experience. Will be returning soon
Food was amazing. I highly recommend the short rib entree and the scallops to start. Wine list was great as well and you can get a very good bottle of wine for well under $100. Really the only part lacking was the service. It wasn’t horrible but left a lot to be desired. We were never featured when everyone else around us was and felt rushed the whole meal. Was it a deal breaker? No. But I would like to feel comfortable when enjoying a nice meal out.
Very satisfied with their customer service. Everyone was so friendly
Great place, great atmosphere, good food at reasonable prices. Heaters on the terrace make this a great choice even on cold days. Well worth a visit when in LA.
The whole experience was disappointing. There was a smell of stale beer when waiting at the bar for our table, my meal was lukewarm at best (not ideal for truffle fries) and the steak was over-cooked. I sent it back, only to get the same plate back right from the microwave. Sent it back a second time. My guest had finished eating and I gave up. I wasn't charged for my meal, but overall it ruined the evening.
Fantastic Evening - great food - amazing views - excellent service - wonderful location and ambiance
I loved this restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic, the service was warm and friendly. While I would have liked to hear a little more old style french music such as Edith Piaf intermixed with the music being played, the light jazz was inviting and not intrusive. The view from of the city was stellar. I'll definitely go back the next time I am in Los Angeles.
Drinks were great and the server was very attentive. Great rooftop experience
Had a good time.
As first timers we enjoyed ourselves. It’s a great place if you want to step up your game , and try something different . My gf (practically wife) really enjoyed it.
Great atmosphere restaurant over look the LA. Parking lot issue
