Food, ambiance, live music was amazing! Service lacked. Waited a while to order more drinks despite waiving our server down. Apps hit the table before drinks. Server took away my friends wine glass before she was finished and didn’t offer to get another drink for her. Server seemed to lack menu knowledge. Food runner was fantastic and really helped my friend who’s celiac through the menu. Had a great corner table with a view. Host wasn’t very friendly. Very dry. Didn’t greet us right away, no smiles. A place this nice should definitely have friendly upbeat staff.

Servers are typically acknowledged for their attentive service, an expectation we held when dining at the establishment. Regrettably, our server did not meet this standard. Contrarily, he appeared to actively evade our presence, a stark contrast to his attentive demeanor towards other patrons, particularly those seated behind us. While I am generally hesitant to attribute such occurrences to racial motivations, the evident discrepancy in his treatment towards us, compared to the exclusively favorable attention afforded to white diners, compelled me to consider it as a factor. This situation was particularly disheartening because dining establishments are typically associated with hospitality, yet our experience at this venue was marked by discomfort and a noticeable lack of attentiveness.

Great experience! Very accommodating, went in an hour and a half prior to our reservation and were able to get a table early. Had a drink at the bar prior to getting our table, the bartender was great. Our server Nate was amazing, so very personable. Food was delicious, and the views were amazing. Would definitely be back.

This was my first time at Perch and I absolutely loved it. The ambiance was incredible and the food was amazing! I took my boyfriend for this birthday dinner and he loved it as well. I would definitely recommend!

Went on a Thursday night and was seated outside on their rooftop patio right in front of the live band! Loved the covers they were singing - it really completed the ambiance. Started with the Berry LA cocktail, mussels and french onion soup for appetizers, steak frites, and finished with the bread pudding. Everything was delicious, staff was friendly, would recommend for date night or night out with friends!

Atmosphere is amazing, food was great. Our table was in a dark spot by the terrace entrance didn’t allow us to see much of our plates. Service was very bad, our server (Girl in a black uniform and red bow tie) was in a rush and we barely saw her after taking our order, had to stop other servers passing by multiple times to ask for bottle of wine and things we needed. No table visits for food/drinks satisfaction were done. We go to Perch often and we love the place! Service is one of the most important aspects when it comes to upscale dining experiences, don’t let it go down management.

Love the perch--the ambience is soothing to the soul. It's one of those places you just "have to go to" because words alone aren't adequate. And when you go, request to be seated in Sir Charles's section on the patio. You won't be disappointed. He made our evening extra special--just being himself. -mRose 9/27 bon appétit

You are 100% only going for the view. Unlucky for us, there was a rave going on across the street and the beautiful patio was ruined with EDM and neon lights flashing onto the buildings (you couldnt even hear the restaurants choice of music, as the rave was just that loud). Which of would have been excusable, as it’s out of the restaurant’s control, except the service the entire evening was AWFUL. Came here for my birthday dinner and the entire evening was awful (with the exception of the manager, he was fantastic!) Our server acted as though everything we did was an inconvenience (including ordering). We had to beg to have the dirty plates removed from our small table. She additionally never asked about food allergies, and when I shared mine with her, she seemed annoyed. (Most places with prices as high as this one typically ask in advance). On our reservation we marked that we we’re celebrating my birthday, and it was not addressed (not a big deal). We asked our server at the beginning if they did anything for birthdays, as it was mine. She looked at us and said “yea”. Not a smile, not a “happy birthday”, nothing, just “yea”. Fine, moving on. Finally as we’re eating dessert, we realized that they never did anything for my birthday. When the manager comes by we asked again, he politely said yes and promptly had ice cream delivered to our table. At this point, dessert was over and I’m lactose intolerant. I would have rather had a free cocktail, or even just a candle in the dessert we did select. While our server didn’t do anything blatantly wrong, she didn’t do anything besides write our order down, she didn’t ask how our food was, thank us for coming in, wish me a happy birthday, or frankly smile once the entire evening. So to Theresa F., I hope the next time you celebrate your birthday, you are treated as I was this evening, an inconvenience for existing.

Perch is now my official go to spot when I visit LA. It was perfection. I made a reservation for my birthday and had the most lovely time 💕 The staff was amazing-attentive, accommodating and professional with exceptional customer service. The food and drinks were delicious, ambiance was exactly on point and the breeze and view from my table was perfect. There was a good mix of people and the music was just right. There was a live band that played on the dinner rooftop level and kind of a 2000s vibe on the upper rooftop lounge. It was definitely a vibe✨

First time back here in 6 years. Still a very beautiful place with great views. The food was 6/10 I remember it being so much better, but still enjoyed it. My friends and I had a great time but the one thing I’ll say it the staff is just not nice. Seemed like everyone had a little attitude and when we asked the host a question she didn’t even look up at us to answer. Just just pointed and spoke under her breath. Which is really rude considering this is her job and customer service.

Great customer service from the start all the staff was friendly and attentive, servers passed by every few minutes to check on our meals. Always made sure our experience was great. After went up to the bar, Thomas the bartender was amazing, recommended us the good stuff and made our experience even better, 10/10 will be coming back for sure.
