It's a nice and quaint place to have a nice brunch on a Sunday. The staff was very accommodating and nice. The food tasted good and had a nice presentation. They did, however, forget the side order of apple sausage that we added to our meal, but brought it right out when we mentioned it.
Great environment! The food and service are great.
The ambiance was wonderful! Loved the live entertainment! Our waitress was lovely and the food & drinks were great! I would definitely go again!
This restaurant was highly recommended on many LA food blogs as the most romantic restaurant in LA... would be the case if everything there wasn't such a hassle. Starting with the unorganized valet (which is the only option for parking) - I pulled up and 3 people told me to do 3 different things, 1 told me to drive around the block and come back when there was more room on the street, the second told me to pull up into the space right in front and then the third when I started to do that yelled at me and told me to go around. AND THEN when I finally get into a space and get out of the car, one of the valet guys blew VAPE SMOKE in my boyfriends face with no apology. Then it takes about 20 mins just to get up to the restaurant because the elevator is so slow. The hostess was rude once I finally got up there. The only redeeming quality was our waiter who was extremely nice and attentive. The food was mediocre at best and arrived luke warm at the table. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and we couldn't wait to get the hell out of there. Will never go back. Will never recommend.
Everything this establishment provided was nothing short of amazing. I live in Canada and wanted to coordinate a birthday dinner for my bestfriend (who lives in LA). I was in communication with Victoria Sotto, who was amazing. She made communication very easy, and helped me coordinate everything, from having a gift card ready, to having him pick it up when he arrives, to even having the staff wish him happy birthday and bring a cake out with candles. OH and an added bonus of complimentary champagne. Thank you PERCH LA for coordinating everything. My friend loved every bit of it, and said the staff treated him so well and its the best experience he has ever had with a restaurant. I will be flying out in October and will definitely stop on by, because my friend won’t stop raving about the food and most importantly the amazing service and staff. Once again thank you for everything.
Easy reservation and fantastic service. We were seated at our table right away and had an incredible view of the city. Service was on point and our server was charismatic, personable, and so helpful. We received great food recommendations and all of our food came out timely and delicious.
It was my boyfriend’s birthday. From the start of when I made the reservation, the staff was very nice. They, even the managers made sure that our experience was great. Definitely a restaurant I’ll recommend and a restaurant I’ll come back to!!
Perch was the most amazing dining experience I've ever had, truly. From the greeting at the elevator entrance to the sumptuousness of the decor to the impeccable service, it is unparalleled. Plus, the view all around the dining patio is to die for! Oh, and the food and drinks were equal to the rest of the experience 😍
Friendly staff, amazing food and loved the theme and vibe
Everything was great. Food, service, ambiance.
Everything was amazing! Food was phenomenal!!! First time going and I plan to go back very soon.
A great experience, our server London was exceptional. Definitely going back again and recommending it to others.
Came to Perch on a Sunday morning for brunch with prior reservation. It's a very cool building in the heart of downtown LA. They have a valet parking for $13. The restaurant is located on the 15th floor with the view of downtown. It's provided with both interior space and outdoor patio. The decoration is old French inspired decor with a beautiful woodwork. We ordered the French toast and avocado toast. Admittedly it was one of the best French toasts I've ever had. It was tasty, fresh and covered with Berries. The avocado toast was outstanding. It was fresh and tasty.
The quality of food, customer service, fun ambiance and the view complimented each other and made it a great experience. Can't wait to go back.
Incredibly disappointed that we were not able to access the top floor because it had reached max capacity. Individuals who have reservations to dine at the restaurant should be given priority to access the top floor over those who are just coming to drink.
The food and service was great but there was way too much people. There was a large party standing at my reserved table taking pictures and would not move when we arrived, the server failed to remove them. Also the table next to my group dropped a glass and the shards cut some from my table. Also we felt over-dressed, it seems the dress isnt enforced, there were several individuals with shorts, graphic tees and caps.
The Hostess was h
It was just too hot and the sun was blasting in my face. All a fight broke out there so it just made the environment even more uncomfortable. I ended up leaving 15 min into my lunch.
Outstanding food and ambience for very moderate prices
Food was delicious!!! Drinks were great too. I can’t wait to go again.
Cold food, wobbly table. Just so so this time.
Had a really enjoyable experience at Perch, our sever was great! Nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated the added Birthday celebration.
I got Gnocchi & I don’t know why it upset my stomach and I was not able to eat half of it. Overall experience was amazing! I love the liveliness and the environment.
The views are amazing.
Great views of the city from the roof top bar. Good service as well. Just wish valet started a bit earlier...
I took my uncle there for his birthday and he loved it. London was our waitress and she made our dining experience very pleasant. Her recommendations were very good as well. Overall the service from all the staff was outstanding and we can’t wait to go back.
We were seated on time and the view was amazing. My friend was visiting from out of State and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Music was perfect, service was amazing and the food was exceptionally delicious.
It was my girlfriends birthday and she and I loved it! First time going there last night. Our waiter was so nice and very knowledgeable. My girlfriend asked a ton of questions about the food before she ordered and he answered them all which made her deciding go by quicker. I ordered the steak frites since I had previously looked up the menu and it has a ton of good reviews and I understand why! SO GOOD. My girlfriend who usually isn’t a fan of steak really liked my plate. The fries were the best part. I don’t know what they put on them but they’re so good. My girlfriend ordered salmon which was full of flavor. The vegetables that accompanied the plate were our favorites. The way everything was seasoned was to perfection. I believe my girlfriend got the Hemingway and she loved it. I stuck with a good old Moscow mule. We closed out the tab and were about to go to the rooftop bar when our waiter brought us over a cheesecake and a scoop of ice cream with a candle for my girlfriends birthday on the house. Really appreciated it. I will definitely be back here.
Great evening celebrating my son’s 21st Birthday. The food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect!
It was great
Amazing atmosphere with breathtaking
Views of Downtown Los Angeles.
Love the dining and ambience. If I had one complaint in would be they served the dinner too fast since I was still eating the starter. So once I got to the dinner it was cold.
I wouldn’t recommend it because the portioning of the meal is not in balance with the price of the dish. Menu is also very limited. Not to mention the server pushing the most expensive dishes on you without request. Serve some sides to complement the dishes and that will make it better.
Outstanding all around; where else in L.A.?!! My only advice, try not to go on a humid day, as it gets a little too hot outside.. otherwise the view is to die for and the food is unbelievably delicious. One of the best kept secrets in L.A.!
Perch is always excellent.
The eldest munchin turned 21 and had wanted to go to dinner at Perch to celebrate. We ended up doing a girls dinner that included 2 that were under 21 which meant we needed reservations before 21 and had to leave before 9pm. We ended up with a 5:45pm reservation which actually worked out well for us.
Truthfully when we walked off the elevator and into the interior "dining room", I was underwhelmed. Decor and furniture looked old and dated (and I'm not talking about the classic vintage vibe either). Luckily we were seated outdoors near the corner and had great views of DTLA. Our waiter seated us and was super friendly and accommodating with our rowdy bunch. We ordered:
- Sear Ahi over Crispy Rice app (tasty and well seasoned)
- Octopus with Fennel Salad (very tender!)
- Flat Iron Steak Frites (OMG those truffle cheese fries!)
- Special Ribeye Steak w/ Goat Cheese Mash Potatoes
- Grilled Chicken with Gnocchi (mmm...pesto!)
- White Chocolate Bread Pudding
- Cheesecake ...was it yuzu? passionfruit? (light, fluffy)
I was pleasantly surprised by how well seasoned and tasty all of the dishes were. Both steaks were tender and perfectly cooked. But the star for me was the Bouillabaisse which had the most incredible saffron scented broth. YES PLEASE!
We had many rounds of dirty martinies and bubbly -- and the live music capped a wonderful evening.
We had such a wonderful time. Took my 2 grand daughters for a late lunch before the museum.
Had a great patio seat with a beautiful view. Food was solid but you can get better brunch at endless places in LA. You go there for the ambiance, cute date setting, and of course the view.
London our server was amazing!
Great atmosphere, great food
