This was my first time eating here and probably will be my last. We started with the grilled octopus appetizer, which was pretty good, although I am used to a hot grilled octopus and this was served cold in a sort of salad. It was very tender but there was a lot for 2 people. I had the Seafood Risotto (which at $29.00 was the most expensive thing on the menu). Although the chef made the risotto dairy-free for me due to my dietary restrictions, the dish was a real disappointment. The clams and mussels were so tiny I could barely find them! The risotto was good, but extremely salty. My husband had the Chicken Pepperoncini (their specialty). I tasted it and it reminded me of sweet and sour chicken with a slight after burn. It was ok, but certainly not worth the price! They pride themselves on home made pasta, but my husband thought it was fair at best. This restaurant is extremely expensive for what you get and is not a BYOB so you're paying more for the drinks, too. There are so many great Italian restaurants with better food for much less money that I will not return to this one.

Had planned a "kids free night" for several parents! Made reservations easily, when called to confirm that asked if they would like our party of 10 to be seated in room off the bar! It was perfect! Felt like our own private party. Our waitress was very accommodating and attentive!

This was the worst Italian food I have had in years.
Fried Raviolis and rice balls were luke warm. Pretty sure they were not fresh and microwaved . Apps came out in under 5 minutes . Scallops were rubber.
Lastly the place was empty on a Sunday night . Locals must know the food is bad

We had a very nice family meal with lots of GREAT Pasta! The matriarch of the family didn't get her salad though, so that was a bit of a black mark, but he felt bad and ended up giving us a Caesar at same price. The wine was also delicious and the whole gang (us and 2 kids!) had a great time

On a typical Sunday night for dinner - we were one of the first tables seated. The room quickly filled up. It took forever to get our drinks and longer than normal to get our salads and meals. They were VERY short staffed. Looks like they frantically called another waitress to come in last minute. Once she arrived, it got a little better. There were 5 of us and they kept bringing out 4 of things...4 salads with the 5th arriving 5 mins later; 4 entrees, with the 5th arriving 5 mins later; 4 cocktails with 5th arriving only after we asked twice (and it was a draft beer - how hard is that?!). Overall, the food was good; our waitress apologized for the slow service. (We did see one family get up and walk out). NOTE: Chicken Parm - although good - enough to feed a family of 4! Way too much pasta!

Service was not up to par. We had to repeatedly ask for water, utensils, cream for coffee, etc. There were 8 of us but restaurant was not busy. In the past waitresses were attentive and very observant of our needs. I was dissappointed. I know new people, but with all the competition extra effort should be given to make customers comfortable and happy so that they will return.

The food was great. The staff was attentive without being over the edge. The wine selection was a bit lacking for our tastes which is on the Reisling side. The restaurant itself is showing some issues. The ceilings are spotted, tiles replaced with different shades of black, etc. The available lighting including ambiant on pictures was not ililluminated.

Great Italian food. I had a gnocchi dish with a variation on the sauce. Delicious! Nice atmosphere and our waiter Rick was friendly and on top of everything! We will be back!

While the food was delicious, the service was subpar. Took asking two hostesses to be checked in and seated for our reservation. We were seated without menus because they ran out and we were only given them because we had to go back to the hostess station and ask. Took several minutes for the server to take our drink orders and even longer for the drinks to arrive. No one came to refill our waters during our meal. Where a children's menu was requested we were informed that any menu item could be made in a children's portion. When the bill came, we were charged full price for a child's size portion of linguine and clams. Very disappointed in the service at Pepperoncini Sotto.
