Enjoyed a nice meal! Everyone enjoyed their food & plates were scraped clean. Seating is a little tight but not unexpected for a neighborhood restaurant/bar. Service was amazing. Bread basket was nothing special, but lots of it. Side salad that came with entree was big & tasty. Parking is a bit of an issue so leave yourself time to find a spot. We had to park 2 blocks away but wasn’t an issue for us on a nice night.
Always good and consistent. A go to placefor dinner.
We were disappointed in our meal at Pepperoncini. We ordered the small plate special, which was a scallop appetizer with fried gnocchi. There were 2 small scallops, which were not properly cooked. It set a bad tone for the rest of the meal. The salads were overdressed and soggy.
Entree's were an improvement on the first course, but weren't anything special.
With so many great restaurants in the area we likely won't be going back here.
Had to wait a little but the staff was good natured, fun & interactive so not so bad plus a free appetizer without asking for it. Great food & great service. We'll be back.
We really enjoyed the restaurant. What a great local restaurant. Excellent food and drinks. Highly recommend.
When it comes to local taverns, you can't beat Pepperoncini. Great food, and good atmosphere. Fine if one dines at the bar, or in the dining room. We have never been disappointed at this location. Try the long hots !!!
Poor service from the time we sat down until we left.
We love Pepperoncini! We come here often for the great food and atmosphere...we absolutely love the food and have never been dissatisfied!!!
Enjoyed every minute. Food very tasty . Prices were very reasonable. Place clean and not noisy.
Excellent food and service in a neighborhood gem! We will be back. Everything was wonderful and that chocolate cake!!
After finding Pepperoncini and locating close on-street parking, we walked the short distance to this small neighborhood restaurant. We were there to celebrate 2 birthdays. Our server, Shawna, couldn't have been nicer and even explained the menu twice, once when we were seated and once when our friends arrived. We ordered calamari for the table and meatballs. Both were good especially the calamari with the Green Goddess dressing on the side. Small salads were also delivered to our table. Everyone enjoyed their entrees, even those with food restrictions. The chef was very flexible and altered the menu as needed. My Bronzino wrapped in parchment paper was moist and flavorful.
Then it was time for dessert. When I made the reservation, I mentioned in our request that we were celebrating two birthdays. I even received a phone call from someone at the restaurant asking about candles. Very impressive! We decided to opt for candles on our desserts rather than on a small chocolate cake provided by the restaurant. What was upsetting was that when the desserts came out, no candles were on them. Our server obviously didn't know we were celebrating birthdays because she looked down and commented about the card on the table and asked if it was someone's birthday. Someone obviously dropped the ball, and I can't say it was the server. Despite a delicious dinner, not celebrating the birthdays left us disappointed.
Been to this restaurant many times an never before had to wait for my table. Very crowded tonight and waited about a half hour with no place to stand in this small restaurant. Not too happy. Staff was apologetic but a comp drink would have been nice.
I made a reservation to take part in restaurant week. This was my first time dining here and after reviewing the menu I instead choose to order off the regular menu and get chicken parm vs. the Preset Menu. It was very tasty and the portion was enough that I had lunch the following day. The service was very pleasant and welcoming from the hostess to the waitress and the food was served in a timely fashion. My only 2 issues would be the noise level. It was hard to carry or hear our conversation and cost of (2) Grey Goose Dirty Martinis. When given the the bill each one was $14 and we were charged an extra dollar for ordering blue cheese olives in (1). I think this is a rather escalated price. As a suggestion, one should be notified of the upgrade charge on the menu or in person when other vodka's outside of the "house" are less, especially when Thursday nights have $8 per martini vodka selections as vodka upgrades. Otherwise, I would return and am glad we selected this location.
I think Lynn Leonard and I were the first two diners for Restaurant Week. We enjoyed every bite of our meals. We like quiet dining so we eat early. We hope you add
Braciole to your menu, it was delicious. We’ll be back soon. Shawna convinced us to come on Thursday for Lamb.
I heard some good reviews, however my experience wasn't that great. I had a later reservation, however, I still had to wait. Then I was seated all the way in the back room. The space was tight and too close to other diners. The noise level was very loud and I could hardly have a conversation of my own. I could everyone elses conversation. The service was not that great. At least the food was good.
Our management team had a two day conference, and we needed somewhere nice to eat the first evening. I had no qualms making a reservation for eight business associates at this restaurant, as I had been there several times before. We were put at a long table in the back dining area, which we had to ourselves. It was great for conversation. Everyone ordered off of the menu, and everyone seemed very pleased with the meal. The service was excellent, as I think the waitress only had us to serve. I would recommend this restaurant if you are out on a date or if you have a special occasion to observe. The food is always excellent!
A neighborhood gem! After relocating to Philly from Dyker Heights Brooklyn, we have been craving Italian food. Everything we ordered was excellent, service was friendly and attentive, perfect portions (not huge) just enough for lunch tomorrow with a small salad. Plus homemade desserts. Highly recommended.
Always delicious! What a wonderful way to prepare to ring in 2018. It was the first time there for our friends and they loved it. I'm sure we'll be back soon for another "double date".
we have been to Pepperoncini on many occasions. They are courteous, provide great service and the food is always great.
Cozy restaurant in conshohocken- recommend calling ahead for reservations . Try the veal sonatra- delicious. Seasonal cocktail- Stubborn Mule very nice.
We have been 3 times: we stop out of our way en route from New York to Hampton Roads in Virginia. The food is excellent; the crowd was a bit loud on our last visit. Service is always dependable.
The food is consistently excellent. Always have great specials. Very friendly and attentive wait staff.
As always absolutely delicious! Wings, meatballs and tried the burger for the first time. It was spectacular! Client totally impressed.
We love coming here no matter what the reason. It's comforting and friendly with great food and friendly service. Kristi was a gem and took great care of us!
Normally Pepperoncini is a great stop for us. Attentive staff and great food. They were not on their game last night. Baked clams were not very good. Our waitress was not attentive at the beginning as we waited nearly 10 min to be greeted at our table. Bread request was also a 10+ minute wait. Not a good experience last night but will give them the benefit of the doubt and give it another shot due to our prior experiences
My wife and I always enjoy dinner at this location. Very nice people, cozy atmosphere, and delicious food.
I love this place! Everything I’ve had so far is absolutely delicious.
Excellent as always. Good football and good service.
My new Favorite! We need more cute little spots like this. Especially around Ardmore, Havertown area. Too many new places have upscale menus. I like when I open the menu, I know what things are. Yum
The;y set the tip for our group of 7 for 20% of the final bill. Too high. Service didn't reach it, starting with putting two tables together and the tiny table had the end slot with three of us squooshed on it . We were there on a quiet Monday night. No reason we couldn't have had the two tables be the same size so we'd physically fit. Waitress disappeared several times, making us wait for simple things, like missing forks. Food was very good. Portions were nice.
We dined here before and had a great dinner. Unfortunately, when we returned on a busy Saturday night our experience was not the same. We were seated next to a family with four screaming children and to make matters worse our waitress was not attentive at all. My husband had to get up and find her at one point. Our bill was very pricey and overall I would say the food was not worth it.
Been here many times. Great neighborhood restaurant, friendly staff.
Blackboard specials available on weekends.
Their food is so good! I love this place, it's so delicious and the price is appropriate.
Love the food and the friendly waitresses but it can get VERY loud making quiet conversation difficult.
Our waitress was so pleasant and courteous which is always a great way to enjoy a meal with friends. The food came out promptly and was priced very reasonably.
Our service was wonderful, and the food was good, as always. It can get loud in the main dining room, but we were in the back room with a party of 10-12 people celebrating a birthday, and they were obnoxiously loud. We found ourselves shouting at each other to have normal conversation. We love the food and here, but they really should look into sound reduction measures. We couldn't wait to get our food and leave.
Menu that was advertised online was not menu that was presented to us. Also one mini cannoli is not enough for dessert.
Interesting looking restaurant close street parking nice ambiance inside with a bar. Food was excellent, wonderful presentation good selection. A great stop. Treat yourself.
Apps were amazing! Very nice ambience. I would definitely return.
a local neighborhood gem and worth the drive for us and we don't live in the neighborhood. Terrific time every time.
