Food and service were fabulous. We started with the Maui crab cakes which were good in size and delicious. I had the pork tenderloin and the pork was cooked perfectly and the sauce was outstanding. The mashed sweet potatoes were the perfect accompaniment. My son had the steak stroganoff which he loved and portions were large enough to take home some leftovers. Bread was also soft, fluffy and oh so yummy! We were too full to try any dessert. We will definitely return when we are in the area again.

Today was my second time eating at Peppercorn grille. I decided to have my bday dinner at the restaurant. The guys at the front seemed very nice and they were very welcoming/friendly. Our waitress was not the best as she lacked attention to detail. She literally looked right at my ID and didn't even tell me happy birthday. Then I told her it was my bday and asked her to take a picture of my table and she STILL didn't tell me happy birthday. It's really not a big deal, but it's literally free to be nice and tell someone happy bday. It costs you nothing to be nice. Then she tried to give us a hard time about the check because we wanted it set up to receive two checks. She said she would have to talk to the manager. I mean... I have just never had such an experience for a Bday dinner at a restaurant. I would go back but definitely not for a celebration dinner because that was pretty rude. I enjoyed the crab cakes and my mashed potatoes were great. However, my lamb chops were subpar. I tasted my boyfriend's tilapia and I didn't like it, but he seemed to enjoy it.

The food and service is always excellent. There are a lot of tables in the restaurant, so the noise level is moderate. You can easily carry on a conversation without shouting. And even though there are a lot of tables in there, it doesn't feel crowded at all. The food, wine list, and cocktails are excellent and so is the service. The prices are what I expect to pay in Los Angeles. I wouldn't say the restaurant is inexpensive, but I think it is very reasonable for the quality. The ticket times for the food are excellent as well

The location was nice and the ambience was lovely. The server Anna was nice but not very attentive. However the bus lady was amazing and took great care of us. The food was delicious. We would return but maybe the servers shouldn’t be all huddled at the front while they still have guests.

This is our go-to restaurant when we are in Big Bear Lake. The food and service is excellent. The acoustics are wonderful; every table in the small space was filled, yet the noise level was such that we could have a conversation without needing to shout! On weekends, reservations are a must if you want to avoid a 30 minute or longer wait.

First off, portions are very large so keep that in mind with how many courses you order. We were disappointed to not have room left for dessert. The flat iron steak was excellent. The vegetables with it were out of this world as were the mashed sweet potatoes. The veggie pasta was very good and a very large serving. Service was excellent. Many wines by the glass, many bottled beers and a pretty extensive offering of whiskeys. Lovely ambiance. A great date out.

Service was good as was the calamari appetizer. I had the NY strip steak with mushroom peppercorn sauce which was not good. Tough meat, salty sauce, barely warm, way underdone vegetables. I was full from the appetizer and bread so didn’t send it back, but disappointing for $45 meal.

We celebrated our 36 year anniversary dinner on Saturday. The hosts were very attentive, as we desired an earlier reservation and we were accommodated. Our server Charlie was very helpful and provided excellent service. We will definitely come back up the hill for a dinner date! God Bless!
